I post this because I had a REALLY bad experience with an AMOG yesterday...
I gamed his girl, and without warning, he hit me on the side of head... any AMOG radar??? I looked like a complete imbecile! The police got him, but, I have a blue cheek, and it is bad going sarging like this.... :)
No seriously, any ways to look if an AMOG is in the field (I'm what you can call physically an AMOG myself, but this one was 6'6", 320 pounds, a monster)...

Why not go sarging like that?
I broke my collar bone and had the same thoughts. But turns out the girls will open you to ask what happened, then you can win them over!
If you open them, they will invariably ask you what happened within 5 minutes. (or, the set will flop) I take it as an IOI :) It's no different than her asking about your interesting item.
But make sure you dont say anything lame like, "Well you should see the other guy!!!"
Feel free to use my stock C/F respone:
Levo's injured sarging responce:
HB: So what happened to your (Whatever hurt)??
PUA: Sex accident.
HB: haha what?? (whatever)
PUA: Yeah, got fucked off a cliff!
HB: haha
PUA: Yeah, right before I came too, it was brutal.
PUA: (cut)(routine)
Don't let them press you on what happened. It should be a MYSTERY. They will love it.

I agree with Levo; go sarging like that. I had my nose broken defending a friend (girl) who was also seriously dating another friend of mine. Some creepy drunk guy was uninvitedly groping her so I stepped in. The bastard head-butted my nose and broke it (it didn't look too bad, but it was somewhat swollen and bruised with a cut where he made contact). Of course every girl asked about it, even those who seemed disinterested because they thought I was just some idiot who gets in fights. Once I told them the story, the girls wouldn't leave me alone. Definitely go sarging with that. Even change the details of your story if you have to. Just listen to the advice of my 10th grade English teacher, "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." While I don't actually believe that most of the time, this is one where you should feel free to take poetic license. I mean, Mystery's "girls fighting" opener wasn't true when he said it (maybe the first time).

Definitely go sarging that way. If you are successful you'll feel like a million bucks because the odds were against you. If you aren't successful you can always blame it on the injury. It's the best of both worlds.

that sort of behaviour is reasonably rare and quite sociopathic, and unfortunately, there isnt a lot you can do about it imo. its a luck of the draw thing, though venue selection will affect it.
i have overheard several guys talking about throwing glasses at other guys who they perceive to be players (i actually caught the arm of one of them (i knew him from highschool) who was about to glass a celebrity. as much as i didnt like the celebrity - he was from neighbours, and i hate neighbours -, some blonde curly haired young guy - it wasnt really fair for him to be signing autographs one minute and holding a ruined face the next)
not too much you can do unless you want to sarge with a wing, or perhaps increase your awareness of suspiciously hovering males nearby.
i have unfortunately been a victim of random violence at the hands of poorly socialised males (i came out well, most of the time) but as everyone said, use it to DHV and it can be very effective, particularly if you have a small scar or something that you can use as a prompt bait during a routine.
the other thing being a victim of violence does is harden you up, which imo is essential for good carriage and alpharism. fights breaking out nearby are a gift because they let you display alpha traits, particularly protection, strongly.
