View Full Version : 1st Text to a Math Teacher, what to say?

I met a teacher at a bar in Hermosa beach, she's teaches math. What's a good playful text to send her? She doesn't have my # yet, but I have hers, so she won't see my name, just my # when I send the first text...

I was thinking something along the lines of?

"([1- (x17)1/2 / 2] , [1-(17)1/2y / 2d]) = Hey you math freak of nature, blah blah blah" (something related to our previous conversation at the bar)

What do you think? Shoot me some ideas.. Thanks!

I'd rather use another opener. Check out the "Big list of text messages" thread. But the nickname "math freak" is great.

Problem with your opener is, that it can't be solved. She'll probably think you aren't smart. What about "I bet my weekend beats your year math freak!", or "Going to rob a bank before we do Vegas. Want to drive or shoot?"?

If she's a math teacher, she'll probably try to read that equation and realize it's bullshit. I'd just mention something she'd remember and go from there.

cool, I will ditch the equation, and keep the math freak thing!

"math freak" and "freak of nature" are two different things.

Don't combine them. ;)
