Hey guys. I made a nice observation. It seems as if 80 % of all women get regular sex, but only 20 % of men. How is this possible? Looks like there are some attractive men who fuck about 4 women regularly and a big bunch of average losers who barely come close to pussy. Which one would you like to be and what do you think of the numbers?

I don't think that's realistic at all. I see all kinds of losers, nerds, and ugly dudes who are getting some. I have no idea what real numbers would be but 80/20 sounds crazy.

Gotta admit I'm wondering what made you think about this hard enough to want to start a thread on it?

im not sure about those numbers but it is true, women have more sex than men. And this is something that is true in this day and age, i dont remember it being like that even 7 years ago. Its getting harder and harder for men to get it unless they have good game. guys with average to below average CAN still get a girl here and there but not all the time. At some point u do meet a girl that u connect and get somewhere but for the most part they're not that interesting to women.

Now days women are mostly attracted to guys with status, money and power...seems like looks are not very important. Unless u are just an absolute hunk then women go towards u but seems like those days are gone where a girl wants to meet a cute guy...its all about what can u do for me

Hahahahaha

How did you come up with 80 / 20, because it adds up to 100? Very scientific observation lmao.

So what are the other 80% of men doing? lol

I guess it would mean that females are more polygamous while males are more monogamous, which I doubt.

Hmmm I could believe that women are more sexually active. However, not on those levels. I mean lets take a poll of my office. I only know of 3 guys in my office who are not sexually active. There are about 10 guys and 12 girls in my office. Hmmm well I am not very well versed in the relationships of all the project managers and CSRs. I think that more women are not regularly sexually active in my office than the men.

As others have pointed out, your observation sucks. It's not possible.

From the Kinsey Institute,
90% of men and 86% of women have had sex in the past year.
As for the frequency of sexual intercourse, check this table. On average, women (across young age groups, single or in relationships) have slightly more sex than men.
http://www.iub.edu/~kinsey/resources/FAQ.html#frequency

As for the number of sex partners(not at the same time), see the statistics below.

Number of Partners
Males 30-44 report an average of 6-8 female sexual partners in their lifetime (Mosher, Chandra, & Jones, 2005).
Females 30-44 report an average of 4 male sexual partners in their lifetime (Mosher, Chandra, & Jones, 2005).
3% of men have had zero sexual partners since the age of 18, 20% have had 1 partner, 21% have had 2-4 partners, 23% have had 5-10 partners, 16% have had 11-20 partners, and 17% have had 21 or more partners (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, Michaels, 1994).
3% of women have had zero sexual partners since the age of 18, 31% have had 1 partner, 36% have had 2-4 partners, 20% have had 5-10 partners, 6% have had 11-20 partners, and 3% have had 21 or more partners (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, Michaels, 1994).
20% of American men and 31% of American women have had one sex partner in their lifetime (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, Michaels, 1994).
56% of American men and 30% of American women have had 5 or more sex partners in their lifetime (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, Michaels, 1994).

If tbas is noticing a big bunch of losers who don't get laid, it's about time that he surrounds himself with different friends. Just saying.

Various observations, discussions with guys and girls.

Well, you can not say men or women have more sex. It almost all cases one man ist fucking one woman. The interesting thing is that this alpha man usually gets a lot more women for him while many many other loser men get nothing at all. Kinda like a de facto harem where one man has access to more women. (In a harem the women know this, in most real cases they can only guess it).

Concerning the real percentage, I thought that 20 % of men having regular sex might even be too high. Just ask yourself how many guys do you how that really are sucessful?

miaddict, nice amog, but your numbers are quite old, seems like competition has become much harder during the last few years. WOmen under the influence of television trying to get only the most highclass man, men disturbed by porn trying to finally fuck anyone.

AMOG? Easy boy. You can choose to believe whatever you want.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19374216/ns/health-sexual_health/t/new-survey-tells-how-much-sex-were-having/
From that article,

Seventeen percent of men and 10 percent of women reported having two or more sexual partners in the past year.
Twenty-five percent of women and 17 percent of men reporting having no more than one partner of the other sex in their lifetime.

Men and women in monogamous relationships have a lot more regular sex than single men. The stats in the table about frequency of sex come from a 2010 survey.

Women under the influence of TV? Men under the influence of porn? Women have been seeking high value men since the dawn of time. I must have missed out on all this!

Talking about single people.

Imho women sexual market value at young age is much higher than man sexual value, as a result man need to work for sex while woman can get it any time she wants it.

So the statistics of "90% of men and 86% of women have had sex in the past year." is very unrealistic at least between ages 18-35.

I actually agree with the number 80/20 for the young age range, just look around this forum and see who has problems getting sex man or woman, and how many girls we actually have here.

Single woman usually don't have sex because it is their choice, man don't have sex because they cannot or don't know how to get it and rely on luck.

Whoa man. miaddict may come off a tad harsh at times, but the advice he gives is dead on, the vast majority of the time. He wasn't trying to AMOG you.

I'm being 100% sincere here when I say that you are taking an extremely overly negative view on this, and that's throwing up some red flags for me. I have to ask a personal question. Do you suffer from depression/anxiety or something similar? Don't answer if you don't want to but if you want advice to improve yourself you're not going to get it without the necessary info. Almost always when I see someone with that kind of hyper pessimistic view on something, it's an indication that at the very least they have some serious inner game issues or issues from their past. Nothing good will come from that kind of view, most likely it will hold you back.

This forum board attracts men who have problems with women in the first place. It's like going to a doctor's waiting room in order to determine the ratio of sick people to healthy people. Hint: healthy people don't spend much time seeking medical help. Or if you go to stripperweb, you'd think that all women on the internet are strippers.

We don't have 'many women' here because it's a forum board for men! Go to one of the female dominated forum boards on dating and you'd find a lot of women with dating issues and very few men on there.

I used statistics and do research as part of my paid work. Whenever I come across unbelievable stats being used to support a claim, I question the source as well as the nature of the sample size used.

There's so many unseen and unknown factors. If you're surveying friends, they're going to tell you what you want to hear, and give you only so much info.

Woman traditionally have more options than men do, but that doesn't mean they're going to fuck all those options. I know girls who screen out guys for a variety of reasons, but it doesn't mean they're out of the running. Moods change, esp. when it comes to women.

If a guy is awkward around women, he's prob. not going to #-close her. If he's "cute enough", he could get away with being awkward and might be able to still fumble his way through to a #-close. But she's prob. hoping by next date he has his act together.

Anyone who has options will usually be picky.

Also, some of those guys you call "losers" might bang a girl they don't want you to know about, because you might find her ugly and repulsive, and they don't want to be judged.

Ok, I have based my estimations on the things happening in and around clubs. These are obviously in favor of the girls and very few tough guys.

You could try google.

In America, 65% of boys and 70% of girls have had sex by the age of 19. 95% of those in the past year, 70% in the past 3 months.

People are having sex all the time. It's alright if you aren't. If you want more sex, the first step is to stop acting like it's some mysterious powerful thing that only happens to a lucky few guys after fooling a bunch of unsuspecting young girls. I repeat, people are having sex all the time.

Miaddict is spot on. Please provide a link to where you got your stats from because I think they are bunk. 80/20 doesn't even make sense. Maybe you read it wrong or maybe it was just someone talking out the side of their butt crack.

There are a lot of stats out there and it all depends on your situation, i.e. if you're in a committed relationship, single, straight, gay, etc. It's going to be different. Bottom line stats don't mean nothing -- you're either F'ing or you're not. If you are, good for you. If you're not -- go and get F'ed. This is not rocket science.
