Ok, quick background - I'm 21, live on Long Island, and bartend in a fairly upscale dining establishment with a good bar crowd. I get mostly 25+ people at the bar, and of course, part of my job is to flirt. I've been utilizing some of the MM tools not as a pickup tool, but as an effort to give my guests a better time. For example, last night I asked a group of 3 women who they thought lied more (sound familiar?). This prompted a full discussion with 3 or 4 other groups - people interacting = my job done well.
Flirting as the bartender...
The question becomes how to apply the basic techniques when I DO want to pick up girls at the bar. I've got a very natural wit, and cocky/funny comes very naturally to me, but because I'm behind the bar, many women feel as though I'm just being the bartender - teasing, getting laughs, and moving on as I'm constantly ejecting sets to go talk to other people. How do I move from being the funny, cute bartender to being the funny, cute bartender they want to take home with them? I feel like the basic A1-A3 rules apply here (and follow them), but that the comfort stages would be practically impossible...
