I had the privilege of being involved in a day game boot camp with Jeremy and Nick, and all of the hesitation and nervousness that this was perhaps a sham went out the window within the first hour. Both Nick and Jeremy demonstrated not only the ability to teach the material but to act on it as well. One of my favorite expressions is that the devil is in the details and day game was no different and these two clearly knew the details. From a personal success story, On the first day the first girl I approached at Jeremy and Nicks behest was an attractive girl on her way to work. Normally I would have just admired a girl like that but on this occasion through guidance and some pushing by the two instructors I approached the girl. This was the first time I had ever done anything like this and was a nervous wreck. However, I followed the guidelines I was given and somehow got her number. Over the next two days I worked on body language, speech patterns and generally how to guide a conversation. After the second day I called the girl and invited her out with my friends to a bar. Normally I would have been all over her but on this occasion I would leave her go to the bar strike up a conversation with another girl come back re-engage her and then leave her with my friends again just displaying a sense of confidence I did not have in the past. I will not go into all the details of what happened that night just that I owe most of if not all of the success to Jeremy and Nick.

I also took the day game workshop in Austin taught by Soul. This review may be a bit choppy but I am writing it to include information that I personally would want to know before I took a workshop with Soul.
First, is it worth $3,000? Yes. I lost count of how many sets I opened in two days. I know I opened over 15 sets each day but as I stated I did so many I lost count.
The most valuable thing from the bootcamp that you have to experience for yourself to fully understand is what is possible in daygame. Meaning, Soul will take you out of your comfort zone and you will realize that what you did was not weird or awkward. A personal example of this is when I, at the urging/insistence of Soul, opened a girl who was ordering food at an outside street vendor. As she was waiting for her food I walked up to her and did a direct opener on her. When I did this there were at least 6 customers all standing around and they all looked and just starred at us. Using the skills that Soul taught us, I was able to remove the awkwardness enough that the girl become comfortable having a conversation. After sitting down and conversing with the girl for a minute I realized all the customers had now stopped starring at us.
Another valuable experience came from an approach I did with thacaptain winging me. I approached a girl and her friend getting into her car in the parking lot of an upscale grocery store. The girl had her groceries and was obviously leaving. A car was waiting for the parking spot of the Girl I approached. The approach went horrible and thacaptain and I caused a traffic jam with about 8 cars stuck waiting for me to finish my approach. While this was by all means not a good approach for so many reasons you will learn in Soul’s workshop, I found it beneficial because when it was over I wasn’t embarrassed. In fact after that approach was over thacaptain, myself, and the rest of the workshop went into the grocery store to do more approaches.
A few things:
1. Do you need to read Magic Bullets before you take this workshop? No but I did and recommend you do.
2. Do you need to read Soul’s Daygame book before you take this workshop? No but I did and recommend you do.
3. Do you need to do any approaches before you take this workshop? I say yes if you want to get your money’s worth. I experience approach anxiety, like most. Before I took the daygame workshop I had already read Magic Bullets, Soul’s Daygame book, and done 15 day time approaches. I had done approaches at the mall, inside Target, Walmart, a bookstore, college campus, and a Target parking lot. It is to your benefit to experience the awkwardness and approach anxiety so you can move past that BEFORE you get to Soul’s workshop.
4. Do you need to take a traditional Bootcamp before you take Soul’s daygame workshop? I say no. I personally took a bootcamp with Fader the week before I took Soul’s daygame workshop. After my bootcamp with Fader, which I have written a review which is under Portland February 2011, I then flew to Austin and hung for a few days seeing the sights and going out at night working on the night game skills Fader had taught me. Most people will not have the luxury of the time and/or money to do what I did.
If you only have the time and/or money to take only a daygame workshop or the tradional bookcamp, I recommend you first purchase both Magic Bullets and Soul’s day game book.
First read Magic Bullets and then go out at night a few times and work on the material taught in Magic Bullets. Then read Soul’s book and do day time approaches. Then reflect and ask yourself which one you found more valuable. If you are like me, you will probably like both. Finally, if you are still conflicted, call the Love Systems Customer Service # and ask for Jeremy (not to be confused with Soul, he is a different Jeremy). He runs the coordination of the Love Systems training. Jeremy is awesome and will help you decide what is the best way to go. In fact he was tremendously helpful in helping me decide on the bootcamps and instructors I wanted.
Will Soul be accessible to you? This was a big question for me. I wondered if Soul would lecture in the seminar and then pawn us off on a junior instructor for field work. Soul without a doubt is accessible. Nick Hoss was also helpful and I have written a separate review for him below.
An example of Soul being accessible is he and Nick would take turns splitting up with different guys in the group and every person had the benefit of being critiqued by both Soul and Nick. I personally felt I could ask Soul anything and he would truthfully and sincerely answer them.
End of field work luxury:
I was fortunate enough to have a great group of fellow students who appeared to really grasp the concepts being taught by Soul. It was towards the end of the second day’s field portion and everyone was kind of doing their own thing approaching. I noticed Soul no longer had to be hands on and push students into set. I asked Soul if he would wing a couple approaches with me and he agreed.
I was fortunate enough to have Soul wing me on three sets. The first set was a two set that were across a busy street. Soul and I both ran across the busy street and approached the two set. By the time we got to them, they were now on a side street. They were so far away down this side street that I actually yelled to them from about 10 to 15 feet away asking them to stop. (Again, not the best move but the logistics of the situation called for it). I stopped them by going direct. I ended up having an amazing conversation with my target girl, who was extremely cute, which ended up in exchanging phone#s and emails. We both live in different states but we have kept in touch through email.
After my first approach with Soul I was feeling like a million bucks and approached a cute girl who got mad at me and basically told me to F**k off. While she didn’t actually say F**k off, she might as well have. That was seriously the worse blow out in either day or night game I have ever had and it happened with Soul standing next to me. But what was great about the blowout is it didn’t even faze me.
Within 30 seconds I was chasing down another cute girl who I had an amazing conversation with and number closed.
After that Soul and I were walking back to meet up with the other students and Soul saw a cute girl sitting at an outdoor café by herself. Soul asked if I minded if he opens her which I of course I say no and proceed to follow him. I was not about to miss a personal demonstration from Soul. For those who wonder if Soul is as good as Love Systems markets him to be the answer is yes he is. This girl gave Soul three different reasons for him to quit the conversation. I am not going to say what those reasons were but I would have shook her hand and politely left all three times each barrier was presented by the girl. Soul did not end the conversation early and by the end of the conversation they had exchanged contact info and the girl appeared to be really into Soul.
While I can’t promise you that you will get the 15-20min one on one time that I got with Soul I can promise you will get every opportunity to be critiqued by him and have any question you have answered by him.
If you find yourself passing beautiful women and wondering to yourself what her story was, or even kicking yourself because you did not say anything to her, or if you would say something but you don’t know what to say, then take Soul’s Day game work shop. It will change your life.
Another perk that I experienced that I cannot promise you will get is having Nick Hoss in your day game workshop.
Simply put, Nick Hoss is awesome. Nick’s critiques and insights really hit home. He also gave some great tips on a variety of things like Facebook to name one.
Soul handled most of the seminar portion and Nick came in towards the end of the seminar to go with us for the infield portion. Just hanging out with Nick for many hours during the infield portion was fun. He is one of those guys who are always in a good mood. Also, between sets and changing locations, I got to have many conversations about pick up with him. He gave great advice.
Demonstrations: I also got to see Nick first hand demonstrate a few sets. It was quite clear he knows what he is talking about.
In fact, Nick just posted a writing in the Lounge that listed the most common mistakes that students make and need to be corrected at the daygame workshop. How dare you Nick, making a list of everything I did wrong and posting it! Obviously, just joking.
If and when Nick Hoss is running his own workshops for Love Systems I highly recommend you take one. Nothing against Soul but I feel I would have learned equally as much in the field if I only went out with Nick Hoss. He is that good.
