Great places to create memorable experiences?

Hey guys, im looking for your input on what a guy on a limited budget can do in terms of fun dates. if you could share some of your best date experiences and what the two of you did on that date to make it even more memorable it would be appreciated. I am fresh out of ideas for fun dating ideas, but im sure some of you have some good plans. I want to make a good impression that I am a fun guy, and im looking for the perfect place to do so.
    Thanks,
    Paul

    My bedroom
    Let me see:
    • Road trip with a few friends (didn't k-cose on this, but it was great fun!)
    • Comedy gigs
    • Go to a friends bands gig
    • Treasure hunt
    • Rock climbing
    • Pool hall
    • Walk my dog
    • Movie at home

Not the cinema though! My g/fs always complain boys take them to the cinema on a first date and you don't get to 'communicate'.

Reframe. I'm a really fun guy. Where should I take my date? Someplace where you can be fun.

Best move I've EVER made was bounce a girl through a few bars, open sets and ask if we made a cute couple. And ask them to guess how long we'd been together. That was on Day 2. The average guess was we'd been together for months.
    She still talks about it.

All of your Day 2s should be about the same gameplan. Practice makes perfect. No point making everyone unique.

You're trying to impress the girl. Prove your worth and all that. Cut it out. Here's my Day 2 for the evening.
Cedar: I gotta go, but I want to continue this. You're going to a dinner party with me tonight. We can chat in the car.
HB: OK. What time is it?
Cedar: Hit my place around 6, we'll whip up some food to share and head out. Oh, and bring a bottle of wine.
    HB: OK!
Subcommunication. Look bitch, I'm busy. You want this shit, you come along for the ride. I'll make time for you, but its on my schedule. The only way I'm going to impress her is by being cool and laid back when we're alone and by being the fun guy at the party. Introducing her to a lot of cool people won't hurt me either.
Day 2 gameplan: tour my place, bounce to grocery store, back to my place, make food, car ride to my buddy's, car ride back to my place, show her 'my stereo', fclose
I am NOT taking time away from my friends and my life for some girl I just met. She can come along to the party. If we hit it off, I'll make time later.
Assuming you're not a kidney harvester, we can chat in the car. - Cedar

Pack up a lunch, get a map of where you live, circle a 120 mile radius from where you live in the middle, and just start looking at what's in the circle. Look up every town and park in that circle, and start printing out the info from the different websites.
Sometimes going down old roads is fun because there might be some historical stuff along the way. I've gone to really old cemetaries and researched some of the names out at the town museum or library archives. What you want to track down are love stories that were cut short due to a tragedy, and someone's heart was broken. Most ghost stories involve someone's heart being broken.
If it's a place that's scenic that you may have never heard of, check it out. Sometimes the photos are deceptive. Such is the case with Walden Pond in Mass. I was expecting serene and scenic, instead I got a pond surrounded by noisy traffic.
You may also want to search out motels/hotels along the way and rolodex them. Just go and get the pamphlet, esp. if it seems like it's getting later in the day. It's a hint of seduction but also in case you just want to find a place to drink and hang out, and even though it goes against the spending money, it's also a safety issue if you fall asleep.
Sometimes the most memorable moments are parked in a car late at night just talking for hours, and one thing leads to another.
This might sound weird and unconventional, but you can set it up in a romantic way. I mean, if you want to sum up Titanic, the main guy drowned and she drops the pendant into the water that these guys were looking for.
I wouldn't do it all the time because it can potentially be morbid, but a small old graveyard with a story behind it, and most of the old timers know this stuff by heart. Dead baby ones might be a mood killer, lost love stories is money in the bank and makes writers wealthy. It's really cool if an old lady or old man tells the story to the two of you. Every town has their "urban legend". It's not so much fun as it will be memorable, and making it have impact on her is what's key as much as anything fun to do.
Carnivals will never go away. Trying to win those prizes... costs very little, and you don't have to do that in your local area just in case you don't want to see people from your hometown.
There's always some sort of event going on most of the year, stuff that revolves around food, usually.

It does not matter so much where you go, but what you do. Do something that engages her senses [ touch, smell, taste, sight, hearing]. It's about having a good time.
    Anything goes... even the backyard.
