good night game, phone game sucks - how to get creative?

    I live in a college town. I am 39.

Last thursday out in a student bar, I number closed a girl HB9, 23yo I'm guessing from her college year.

Strong eye contact, made a move to go to her, she actually came to me, I pulled her in by the hand, early kino, good social proof etc. etc.

Anyway long and the short of it is that after 5mins she typed the # into my phone. I then dialled it to cement it, and so she would have a record of my #.

I called her on Friday night about 9.30pm. No answer. At 11pm the number called back, I missed the call and they didn't leave a message.

I called her on Saturday afternoon about 4pm. No answer.

I called her tonight, Monday, 10.30pm. No answer.

    I sent a text message Monday, 10.36
"Well! Saying as u don't seem to use your phone, what's your email address so we can chat on fbook? I have something I wanna invite u to......"
(*the invite was to a salsa class on wed night, didn't say upfront to get the intrigue effect)

the number called me back 10.41pm
I let it ring for about 10secs (*not being needy) then picked up
She had already put down (I know cos it showed up as a missed call in my cellphone)

the nmber replied by text, 10.42
    "Hi, who is this?"

    my text reply, 10.43pm
"<my first name> from the <bar> on thurs"

I wasn't sure if it was her or a flaky or false number, so I called her again. 10.43pm.
Girls voice answered after 3 rings, backround sounded like a bar.
"Hiya its <name> from the <bar> on thurs"
    "Hello..."
"do you remember me?" (* massive fail? or just fail?)
"er... No..." (* lies methinks, she didn't seem that drunk)

"Um... ok... well thanks! (ironic laugh).
This is.... <HB name> ok? right?"

    "Yes...."

"Ok, so at least you were being honest then. An honest girl !" (* cringe... shuda used good/bad girl polarity here ?)

anyway she gave a muted laugh here...

"So you really don't remember me then, I was the guy who made a living from risky business?"

    <silence>

"Well, I guess if you don't remember me then theres no point having this conversation!" (said directly and decisively like I was the one attiributing whether the call should go down or not... but still.. backed her into a corner here, because...

    <resigned laugh>
    then
    <phone down>

In hindsight I think she did remember me and the I don't remember was a shit test which I failed.

I basically prompted her to give me that shit test anyway by asking if she remembered me.

At least I salvaged some value/esteem from the interaction by not accepting a conversation with someone who "doesn't remember me", or pretends not to.
    Or did I?

Any advice, tips etc. for moving forward?

How dead is this one on a scale of 1-10 ?
    Next moves?

Because she was out of my usual league, it was a breakthrough to get the # and also to get a conversation. But then I was not in state enoigh to avoid cocking up, which I wouldn't have done with a HB7 or HB8. Still good to have the breakthrough and the reference experience.

    thanks brothers

haha I LOVE IT you lost her for now but nice move that was a classic kill shot! I Love it.

Dude you can totally save this the next time you see her at the club be laughing and smiling at her and saying "Hey! Oh come on you're not mad are you really? awww :::keep laughing and smiling::: Let me buy you a drink, I'll put my name on it haha"

If you make it fun and change the frame then you're back in. I bust birds wide open all the time, it's more fun getting 'em back. Plus if you turn this bird around you're SUPER high value on her list because she knows you don't take shit at all.

The only thing I would say is don't go so fast with the email and fb stuff. You got her # already. Build more interest and desire first have her asking you for stuff not the other way around. Be fun with your text first, then a fun phone call then a meet up and if you can't F-close on the first one, tee it up for the second date.

Guys, on the back of this f-up I decided to check out Braddock's PDF book, "The Ultimate Guide to Phone and Text Game". Boy am i glad I did, I can see how many elementary mistakes I was making, not juist here, but also in many other text and phone interactions. I've just been devouring the PDFs and experiementing with my mobile numbers.

I got them all organised into long fuses, short fuses, medium fuses, fresh sarges, MLTRs, etcl. etc.

I sent a mass text out to the long and medium fuses, got a long fuse that I had considered DEAD DEAD DEAD back on to me in 1day!!
This is a HB8 I spoke to in the street EIGHT months ago, asked directions, chatted for 2mins, #closed. Spoke to once for 5mins about 1month later (wrong wrong wrong, read teh book if u don't know why!!). Bad response, so considered her dead.

We are back on in a big way, this time I am doing it TEXTbook lol

Man, this one has gone. But next time please do not call. Play along by text messages. Never call. For being creative at your texts just take a look at fix post on this forum where it exist hundreds of text messages. Good luck.

This is so dead, it's bringing my pulse down with it... that said, nice ending.

Think you went for the call option far too soon - and fell into the trap that she didn't save your name by your number etc, or just didn't want to speak to someone she'd only just met at the bar (not enough comfort built there).

"do you remember me" - i've never asked this on the phone. But that could be because I don't phone unless I know they do.

I partly disagree with striker's "never call" comment. do NOT stay in text game too long, it takes too long, doesn't build up easily, and is at the mercy of her being occupied by something else, or network delay etc. Phone calls are always the next step, and prelude to a date etc.

put this one out of your mind, enjoy the humour of it, and keep going with the others. Sounds like you're on the right tracks. Enjoy

You dont need to be creative in phone game , you just nee to have value in your replies and be challenging that confirms that you are high value person.
Like for example high value person will never ask "do you remember me?" ...thats weak
here are few tricks how to make your value higher when you ask girl for the number:
    - when you take a number give her your cellphone to type the number in, if she struggles with cellphone tease her on it , that's my favourite i love to tell girls they dont know how to use the bloody cellphone
-when she is done take the phone back and say "is this the number you usually answer?" with a smile . that's a qualifier and shows your value ,sense of humour and confidence all in one.
    - when she replies "yes " to above dial it and you wont believe but because of your above statement she will actually show you that her phone is ringing therefore she qualifies herselfs

    now to avoid flakes
-when you took a number dont say good bye straight away , instead stay there and talk for a little more and before you leave pretend like someone calls you or act like you got a msg turn away and send her a text...simple text such a " Eagle-eagle this is Bercut checking the connection...sexy hello??? ;-)" anything stupid but funny will do
-give her nickname while you talking to her . i usually dont memorise girls names but i do give them nicknames. The nickname should be associated with her personality, habbits or anything funny that she has done during your conversation. You need to make her aware of the nickname
-secondly if you decided to call you need to act confident and if she says "who is that?" say "the guy who will rock your world again like i did it on friday at club x, are you ready?"
add excitement to your conversation,oh she doesnt remember you maybe she was drunk, maybe you didnt impress her enough ,maybe you was 25th guy to approach her that night. The most important is to be confident and keep your frame

Anyway if i missed something or you have any question feel free to PM me
My pick up method is very simple its called "FFF" which translates as FLIRT-FUCK-FORGET
    EVER TRIED-EVER FAILED- NO MATTER-TRY AGAIN-FAIL AGAIN-FAIL BETTER
You have one life to live.Marx teaches us to blame society for our frailties, Freud teaches us to blame our parents, and astrology teaches us to blame the universe.but the only place to look for blame is if you didnt have the guts to bring out your full self, if you didnt act on your desires, if you didnt take advantage of what was in front of you and life the life that was your potential..

Hey Steven90007, thanks for the encouragement dude, and I'm with you on this one in that this is salvagable. She reacted so strongly to my frame (strong eye contact, seemed like I almost hypnotised her to come round the bar from 7metres away to meet me), also how I was owning the place with the other girls, hi-5-ing, snogging drunkard girl, etc. (preselection). Everything since is just shit tests.

Having read the Ultimate text n phone guide, I put her back into the "long fuse" group on my phone and have sent a few cocky funny texts that have callback from my banter with her. No reply... yet... so I would never say never...

Also now that I have established a few more wings I can imagine actually getting back to that bar we met in a few times see if she turns up. Hell if she don't, plenty other fish :-)

I love what you say about being super high value if I can win her back. Great attitude dude, thanks.

Cheers dude, I have certainly learned my lesson from reading Braddock/MrM's book. This was a long long fuse and no way should I have been calling till I burned this down by copious texting.
