Awaken Day Game 1 on 1 - NYC

Well recently I did the Day Game Seminar with Soul in NYC, in August of 2008. You can read my review here (along with soul 's response).

Since I have had some success, but not totally consistent success in Day Game , I decided to go out with Awaken, who I heard was quite good.

When Awaken showed up, I was a bit surprised. I couldn't see why any woman would be attracted to him. He is short and skinny, like 140 pounds.
He has a lot to overcome, so I thought let's see if he can overcome it.

So I went infield with him for 90 minutes. As far as his game, let me say this

Awaken's game is world class!!! Awaken's game seems to be, at first glance, at least as good and in some ways more impressive to me then the day game sarge Soul demonstrated in the Love Systems hidden
camera video clip.

In our outings, which now number three, he has
--- Totally social proofed himself in coffee shops
--- Had girls asking him for his phone number / facebook info
--- Had girls lunging at him
--- Had girls ignoring their GFs
--- had girls bring up the topic of threesomes
--- Stopped numerous attractive women on the street and number closed them
--- Had girls who were about to leave to see their BF stay with us for half an hour
--- helped me get Day 2's with very attractive girls we opened
--- done some amazing fun kino
--- done some great cold reads

I have been out with him a total of three times. His game is stunning and inspiring. He does Day Game coaching in NYC and maybe other cities (not sure).

I've already been in the game for 2+ years so I also was pretty timid about what this guy had to offer me, but he impressed me thoroughly during out trial run and I signed up.

I was looking for a one-on-one guy who is not just skilled but a good coach who knows what he's talking about and is observant.

Within the first week he realized I needed to improve my validations big time and start noticing and mentioning things I admire about the girl. He demonstrated the techniques in action and I could totally see the impact this had on the girl. Her face would light up and I could see this was worth while mastering. From them on we had a system where he'd tap me on the should to validate and now I don't even have to think about it.

Also:
-He helped me set up more solid day 2's
-After reading about false time constraints for 2 years he helped me implement them very effectively
-Bounce girls to other locations better, and see more opportunities to do so that I didn't before

More recently he brought to my attention that I joked around too much and needed more down-to-earth serious conversation to propel my pickups which has also helped a lot and decreases the number of girls who look at me as a player, jerk, or immature.

My personal opinion is if you're not doing a consistent 1-on-1 with an instructor you're wasting your time. Period. Out of all the training available (bootcamps, workshops , seminars, group training, ect) there is nothing more effect and no bigger bang for your buck.

Well I did a bootcamp which only focused night game.and I saw resources ebooks,CDs etc on day game but didnt click for me. I guess Im more of a show me how to do it kind of guy. I learn better that way and many can agree if we are being properly coached by a pro trainer example like in sports etc.

I honestly was scared to apprach women on the street.
there i said it.Im a total chode.

So I searched and found this guy Awaken. I had to see what was under his belt since my knowledge was limited in terms of infield experience.

first time he blew me away breaking alot of "rules" in terms of touching,moving sets,even getting set up for a date. I was blown away by his demos.then it came my turn and "baby steps" to get better. after that all I had learned from ebooks was out the trash, cause he got them engaged into him...right infront of my eyes.

I had to tell my friend, a good frienmd about him cause I could believe how good he was.

that wasnt enough we went on a trip, on subway and he was unstopable, I learned alot from doing and his demo than all ebooks ,cds ,etcetc. reading all that without help infield will only turn you into a keyboard jockey social pscologist like a gay guys balls are good for nothing.

I honestly say now I can apprach without fear cause of his coaching but I still have alot to learn from the guy...yes he is that good!

Awaken NYC - The Master of Day Game

Awaken is the real deal. No gimmicks, no state pumping crazy mania... just pure solid game that can be applied to almost any situation.

Prior to this spring, I had done 4-5 weekend bootcamps with other groups, but still felt frustrated with my results. I think most weekend bootcamps creates a safety bubble where the normal rules of life don't really apply: when I went home to my regular life, the old chode within came back out. I fell back into my old behavior patterns even though I had a lot of success on bootcamp. So I realized that I needed more day game instruction and that's when I found Awaken. I worked with him for 3-4 months this past summer.

Awaken's game is truly amazing... but what's really special for students is that he's totally committed to making you a better student. His approach is completely natural, focusing on how to make the most of every situation you are in. In that way, the "techniques" become integrated into who you are as a person. Awaken doesn't use over-the-top clothes or gimmicks to get attention... he just goes for rapport and comfort . His emphasis is on quality; that is, to integrate "game" into your life so that when your dream girl is standing next to you at barnes and noble, you are ready.

The other aspect of his training which is very unique is that he customizes everything to who you are personally. He evaluates who you are as an individual and helps you use your own innate talents to improve your game. That makes his style seem even more natural because you will never be a clone of some other PUA. Awaken has improved my game considerably, but if you saw us in action, you'd never think that I was cloning him in any way.

Finally, I found him to be very well rounded and an all around great person to know and someone that I feel comfortable with. And that's essential because I agree with jbrett: 1-on-1 instruction is definitely the way to go. You need someone to observe you from aside and give you advice which is unique to you. Awaken is very skilled at this... his observation skills are very refined and he knows how to give you critique without leaving you overwhelmed.

And I also agree with jbrett about joking around too much... I've learn with Awaken that for most situations you just don't need to create tension through negs and cocky comedy routines... you can just go straight into "qualification " and it really works well and makes you look much less like a player. Awaken never hesitates to "skip" through the formal sequence when he sees it's inappropriate and he teaches how to do that and what to look for too. -KK

Review of Awaken Daygame in Manhattan

Hi just wanted to do a quick review of Awaken's Day game in Manhattan:

Awaken's game is TIGHT. I only committed for a 1hr session with him b/c I was pretty skeptical at first and I have seen quite a few other guys with supposedly 'tight' game that were complete farces here in NYC. I wasn't expecting much but, the dudes game is KILLER! and he is so positive and fun that it makes you comfortable with learning too!

In our first 30 minutes he was already getting #closes and getting girls desperate to meet up with him later. He doesn't flinch opening up the hottest girls.... and he does it in a way that is warm & friendly and honestly FUNNY as hell!

After that one session I went ahead and set up 10 sessions; it has been great thus far.... I have finished 6/10 sessions now and I am starting to get pretty good myself; thats the best part about the guy he is a solid teacher.... just being around him you will get a lot but he'll break it down too so you walk away being able to run game on yer own.

His style incorporates lots of MM elements but also other stuff thats from swingcat etc, whatever it is... it works... thats all that matters; i went from averaging a day2 once a month to having multiple day2s a week. He has fixed my biggest sticking points and its crazy how much it has helped.

You should give it a try and see if it works for you; its less commitment than a bootcamp (~$3000) and if you live in NYC is very convenient so its worth a shot. I am pretty sure he would be cool setting up the same thing that he did for me which is a just a quick 2hr session (i paid for the 1st session without having to commit to the package for 10). The rate back then was $125 for the session but he is getting more clients so I am not sure what it is now.

My Bad Choice........

When I hired John “Awaken” Keegan, I expected a PROFESSIONAL PERSON who was going to HELP ME work on the “four main elements of inner game and tie them to the outer skill set of approaching , conversation, making an emotional impact, dating, etc”. But what I got was the exact OPPOSITE: an investment in a CHARLATAN that resulted in the complete WASTE of MY MONEY!
During the initial part of his “Transformation Course”, I shared personal information about myself to him: My Goals, Standards, Values, Limiting Beliefs, Interest and Passions. A couple of months after the course, I had a disagreement with some guys who were friends with Awaken. During that time, Awaken OPENLY gave them ALL my information.
When I gave him that information there was an expectation of privacy, respect and professionalism for what I was saying. Everything we did during the course was to be kept CONFIDENTIAL unless I said otherwise. And when that information was shared and publicized that agreement was broken. I did not expect an INITIAL COURSE DIAGNOSIS to be a TROJAN HORSE.
EVERYONE in my college knew things about me that I did not want them to know. Everyone knew about my past limiting beliefs, my favorite songs, movies and things that happen during the course. All things that I through would be kept private and held with respect. This man released into public light. Because of this I suffered EMBARRASSMENT and SHAME, all throughout my social circles. And now I must transfer to a new college. Do yourself a favor, if you make the SAD MISTAKE to sign up to an Awaken boot camp. Make sure he signs a CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT. If AWAKEN did It to me. Then he will do it to YOU. Your information is NOT SAFE with Awaken.
Not only was I amazed that he would SHARE and PUBLICIZE my information. But by the things he was saying about ME and MINORITIES. He believes that “minorities get all the help” and “all we do is bitch and complain about our problems”. According to him, “We’re always the first to complain”. He says “that I will probably stay in my neighborhood until I die” and that “he will probably never see me again. But he may “see me on America’s most wanted”. He also thinks that “my mother should have had me in Jamaica”. I was EXTREMELY OFFENDED by that. When I first meet him; I thought he was a cool guy. I did not expect all of this HATE from such a SMALL MAN.
If you ask Awaken about it he will say “he had it coming “and that “it was needed”. But, nobody, under any circumstances, deserves to have their personal and private information publicized and shared to STRANGERS, especially, by a supposedly respectable dating business. Not only is it disrespectful and unbusinesslike, it is dangerous to do.
The truth is Awaken isn’t really ALL THAT. All of his positive testimonies come from people outside the pickup world. Most of my improvement in game has come from OTHER COACHES who charge much less for their services, far below 2,200 + dollars. It was these guys who were the GOOD QUALITY coaches. Awaken is just more known. There are HUNDREDS OF GUYS in the city who are much better than him. But charge LESS for their services. All you have to do is search for them. My last coach knew Awaken personally and he said, “I would not call him a PROFFESIONAL PICK UP ARTIST, he is just an ADVANCE STUDENT”. That was the TRUEST review of him I have ever heard.
