I met Papa when they were here in Nashville. Seemed kind of like a tool. I was a little disappointed at what a weird, nervous guy he was. When I didn't want to sign the contract you have to sign to attend the seminar they pulled me aside to probe for information like I was with a competing company. He totally was grilling me like I was a spy or something. I just told him it wasn't like that...I just don't want to screw myself over in the future. Personally I wouldn't waste my time going to this, but then again, it's free. Just make sure to check the box on the sheet you have to fill out that says you want your money back.

    Thanks everyone.
I'm going to go ahead and attend. Discard was is useless and pour over what I can use.
Doesn't seem very promising, but I will not let the chance go by as I am still a hardcore AFC. Though I do have a FR to write out tonight.

    Thanks for the opinions everyone.

A while ago I was thinking of the RSD shop because it's cheaper....but then, I haven't read good reviews of it, and 100% of the reviews I've read from Love Systems has been positive.

Tyler Durden and Papa both seem like tools....

Also, I was listening to David DeAngelo's Approaching Women program...and this is what Tyler says.

"This job is really depressing. I always meet guys that were in my workshops, then I see them in a night club or something, and I tell them, lets see what you got and they can't pull anything off."

That quote right there from the co-founder, gives me reason not to do the workshop, I think the reason why his students can't pull is because the instructors SUCK.

Consider how many of LS's instructors are ex students....

    sigh while shaking my head

I might get banned for this but I feel like I have to say it anyways...

I attended RSD free workshop, and honestly it was one of the best thing I ever did pua related.

Is it an informercial? sure it is
But they do this for a living, if a doctor offered you medication you wouldn't refuse it would you?

Papa has coolness written all over him. Nervous? Far from it.

I was not an RSD follower until I attended their free workshop. I, like many others who after reading the game, was convinced that tyler was a weird guy and most RSD guys are weird.

Look, guys, I have nothing against love systems either. I think they are a great company too but when a company starts to badmouth others just for the sake of business, it hurts their reputation.

Many pua companies religiously believe that they are the BEST and they need to eliminate all competition. This is coming from a scarcity mindset and is detrimental to our learning as students of the game. It's almost like religion where one is 100% convinced that their is the best without ever looking at the other religions from a non-biased point of view.

Some examples of these symptoms include:
Every single pua company today claims that THEIR company offers the lowest student to instructor ratio. Every single one.
Money back guarantee? Yeah they all say that, but rarely does that ever happen.

PS a friend of mine recently took an RSD workshop, and he did not like it. Does that mean that RSD sucks? NO. It just means that there are many systems out there and people benefit from different systems of learning and they all offer immense value to us as students of the game.

We don't ban people for positive reviews of other companies. You've got some things wrong here that I'd like to clear up.

That's not an accurate analogy. Infomercials are there to get you excited and sell you something, not get you better. If you are actually closing hotter girls more easily than you did before, that's awesome.

No they don't. Eliminating all competition is impossible. I think you are creating a LS versus everybody conflict that doesn't exist.

People here don't think like that. Here's an example of a post from Savoy espousing the exact opposite of that:

Pick one system and use it. I don't care if it's Love Systems (LS) or not. I'm pretty sure Love Systems is the best out there, but honestly you'll do far better taking the third-best system and sticking with it than mixing the top three systems together.

Some examples of these symptoms include:
Every single pua company today claims that THEIR company offers the lowest student to instructor ratio. Every single one.
That's silly. I'd be shocked if lots of companies claimed that, since it is easily disprovable.
Money back guarantee? Yeah they all say that, but rarely does that ever happen.
No they don't. Several companies don't offer one. LS does, and they aren't lying about it.

Some companies are better at this stuff than others. Some companies get a lot of bad reviews. Caveat Emptor.

"Nine Ball" by Jeffy from RSD

I first heard about some book Jeffy was going to put out while attending the RSD Free Tour in Salt Lake City, UT. Although the short little seminar wasn’t all that enlightening, the discussion about the publishing of this book with Papa was.

It wasn’t until a few months after that I got the first email about the officiality of this book, and a special website setup just for its launch.

On this website (and in a few email newsletters), Jeffy described the book as the story of the emotional journey he went on while learning game. I was excited and looking forward to the release of this product—especially since RSD had only released DVDs up to that point. Plus, no other product in the “pick-up” market really focuses on this back-story issue that every guy subsequently goes through: the facing of their demons and self-doubts—their emotions.

When the book finally launched, I was a little dissuaded by the price ($39.95), having been told by Jeffy that it would be sold at a “regular book price you would find in the bookstore”. Not exactly accurate. Nonetheless, I decided to make the purchase anyway.
While making my way to the link to make my order, I was forced to sift through a 32 page, 12,315 word marketing description spewing that Jeffy’s book “Exposes the HIDDEN TRAILS to Getting You” to pick-up mastery and “VICIOUSLY FIST-BLAST You With His Most Ultra Potent Innovations And Hyper Subtle Strategies.” The book does no such thing. It doesn’t teach you anything worthwhile to help you advance your game. Understandably, this is just the RSD marketing team’s sorry attempt to sell yet another product. If you want to learn about game, buy any one of RSD’s other products—as they are outstanding—and their marketing descriptions are somewhat more accurate.

After finally getting the book a month later, I was excited to see that it looked like a real, actual book you would find in the bookstore. Impressive. I guess I didn’t know what to expect.

After making it about three-fourths the way through the book, I began to get tired and slightly annoyed of what I was discovering the bulk of the book to be made of: field report after field report after field report. Although they were written as a part of the book, it came off as though Jeffy had just printed off all his old field reports, put them together in sequential order and jammed them into the middle of his book, making up 252 pages. It made me wonder why it took him a whole year to write the damn thing. It was only the first 80 pages that actually had a plotline tied to them thus far. The field reports were definitely entertaining, insane, hilarious, outlandish and slightly disturbing, but that buzz quickly wore off after the redundancy of each of his crazed, sexual adventures got expounded upon.

But just as my annoyance with the thirtieth story of yet another threesome began to culminate, the book took a drastic turn, tying back into the theme Jeffy had mentioned in his videos and newsletters: the emotional journey he had been travelling on. The meat of the book (or more accurately, the plotline) finally came full circle.

After finishing out the book, I finally understood. The 252 pages of inane field reports had a purpose after all. All of the insanities Jeffy went through really made the last 64 pages of his emotional maturity hit home. It made the culmination of the book that much more poignant. And all the tiredness and annoyance from the countless quasi field reports I had to read dissipated and I was left with the larger meaning Jeffy was trying to instill after all.

I stand self-corrected with judging a book before it was over and glad that I read it. Having been in the game for a while now, the importance of the lessons learned gave me some insight into my own emotional well-being.

I definitely think the book is worth a read, but only for those who have a deeper understanding of the game and its relation to life. For those who are hoping to learn the “next best thing,” this book won’t be worth your time—except maybe as a prelude to the challenges you may face down the road.

All-in-all, it was a good, worthy read. Perhaps one day, the price will come down to that of a “real” book.

you guys should start insisting on refunds if you feel that you've been not getting what was promised to you in a bootcamp.

once you hurt their pockets they'll go out of their way to improve their service.

if all you do is write a bad review in a forum it doesn't really make any change.

bootcamp instructors are also masters of making you feel lame, chode or beta for asking for a refund.

insist on it, if you feel that you haven't been getting what you were promised. do not let them play you.

this way, you don't have much to lose. either you get the value for your money, or you get the money back instead.

this way you can enjoy a bootcamp without being terrified that you throw your money to the sea.

What really bothers me is instructors irresponsiveness with regards to their claims if pulling models and what not. When someone asks this on their forums, they get usually mocked and banned.
