Thread: what do you write to "do I know you?"

time & time again I've received the "do I know you?" line from HBS on social networkers after they have accepted my friend add. Usually I just ignore them, but is there some way to game them from here? what do you folks do when someone writes you that?

"do I know you lol" is probably fine, whereas "uhmm... do I know you?" is probably a real bad sign.

just plain "do I know you?"

if it were a "um... do I know you?" the HB most likely wouldn't have accepted the friend req

I generally don't send random request. I first randomly message them with an opener. I don't usually get "do i know you?" with a random message
