Default Neil Strauss' craigslist add didn't work (my craigslist experiment)

So I did an experiment. I send out three craigslist ads.

Here is the first one, ordinary typical craigslist ad:

Cage fighter gotta be sweet sometimes - 27

    What's crackin craigslist?

My name is Matt and I am a professional full time fighter. Being in such a aggressive workplace, I need someone sweet to balance that all out lol. I like Asian and Italian food. I hang out with a fun and friendly group of friends and family, so if you want to hang, you better be fun and friendly lol. Pic for pic but please no nude pictures because then I will have to send a nude pic lol

The second one, a cheesy ad:

Hey craigslist ladies, WWWAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZ UUUUUPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP?!! - 27

Hello cragistlist ladies, how you be?
A solid guy? That would be me

I like to hang with people who know how to laugh
People who do random things like go to the zoo and see the giraffes

Now a bit more about me, I'm an engineer
My favorite drink is a fat tire beer

I'm looking for lady whose high on life
I'm seeking a girl whose sharp a knife

And eye for an eye, a pic for a pic
Sorry ladies, I refuse to send one of my, dog
    lol!

Finally, my last ad, which is copies from Neil Strauss ' myspace:

I am better than all of the other guys here - 27

I'm a selfish prick. A hot, rich, pampered intellectual with a big dick and a marathon tongue. I'm young enough to do it often and old enough to do it right. I don't have time for petty drama or emotional hysteries. I do what I want, when I want.

If interested, you know what to do.

So the first one got 3 non-spam responses, one being a very hot girl. The 2nd one got one non-spam response. And Neil's didn't get any responses. It did worse then the shitty rap that took me 5 minutes to write.

You can find all the ads here: south bay area men seeking women classifieds - craigslist

Now, the main paragraph is Neil's, but the title and the last sentence I came up on my own to flow of the first paragraph. Perhaps something about them messed up the mian paragraph, but I don't think so.

Well, I'm gonna hit up that hot girl because the first ad is real.

    Thoughts?

Neil Strauss ' profile is massively overused. So many guys are using it that it's untrue. Also online game has moved on a lot since the last stuff I heard Neil Strauss say about it.

Honestly, people either catch on to the Game or think that you're joking. I actually laughed when looking at what Neil wrote. Still, that's not your problem. Strauss is a good man, but as Mungo said, his techniques are so widespread now that they're used by anyone who thinks they have the slightest chance of Game. Its important to demonstrate high value and to show you can take a joke, but just remember there's a limit. Neil says he got a high response rate from posting a cocky ad, but those responses probably just were comprised of 'LOL!'.

Your first response worked well because you simply came off as genuine and not creepy. You even DHVed in very small ways, like the whole 'fighting' business. As your own experiment has demonstrated here, it is far better to be subtle and nice than completely over-doing it. Just expand on what you say in the first ad. Hell, you probably got a positive response because girls are sick of Strauss-like ads, heh.

Keep up the good work. Interesting experiment.
