    Girl friend/ best friend conflict.

I was invited to a party because my girlfriend was invited. It's the birthday of her really good friend, so of course they all want me to come.

However, the host purposely made a point NOT to invite my best friend. The host even said to make sure I dont tell him.

Funny thing is, the guy who is throwing the party, I met through my best friend before I knew my GF.

I told my friend the situation because i would never try to deceive him.

Should I go? Ive known my best friend since 9th grade, but my girlfriend really, really wants me to go...

I forgot why I loved booty calls.

    Haha update:

My girlfriend and I got involved in a silly fight and she had the nerve to say "you chose J over me(my best friend) to which I replied

    "and I will, everytime"

Just looked her, shook my head, and left. Do not regret it at all, kept true to my word of friends forever...

haha thanks for that interesting read man. its good to know somebody else on this forum actively follows the "bros before hoes" part of the man-code.

I agree with what you did but I don't think it was necessary to get in a fight with your GF, I would have simply told her that J is my best friend and this doesn't feel right, so you should respect my decision as I would respect it if you were in my situation.

I was looking for a 'good' reason/time to break up, didnt think it would come so soon. I was getting incredibly bored with her.
