    20 Dates (film)

So I saw the film 20 dates on tv. Thought I'd see what it had to say.

For the most part, it was like watching a train wreck happen. Seeing him point out the hidden camera to the girl he was dating was just awful.

But it did raise 2 interesting points:

    1. People think about finding love in terms of meeting the right person. But what they fail to consider is whether they're capable of being in love.

I'm not sure about all of what this entails specifically. But I think it has relevance for AFCs entering PU too - you have to be ready for success, and willing to pay the price - logistical and emotional - that a relationship (if that's what you're looking for) will take from you.

I think it's something that deserves to be thought about.

    2. Women build in their head an image of the man they want to fall in love with. They carry that phantom with them throughout their lives and measure every man against him.

I don't know how true this is, or how it impacts on how a woman responds to a man, but knowing the way a woman judges you in her heart has to count for someting.

Clearly I don't have any conclusions on the above, but I wanted to get them out there before I forgot them.

    Thoughts?

Most of the film was pretty lame.

It was only the interviews with the author/film critic guy that raised anything thought provoking.
