RF: Youre gonna greet me with kisses when I get there, right?
    ST: Nice boots.

This might be a little off topic, but, shit tests (if thats what you want to call them) RARELY happen. Atleast, in my book. Shit test meaning they say something to fuck with you, or a bad attitude. I think you only get those when you fuck up/try hard. Or something they say to you because they know they can get away with it (which of course, the problem would be you, not them since people treat you how you teach them). Maybe the thread should go RF: and NF: (new frame) to focus more on reframing rather than saying something witty when you fuck up or coming up with something to mess with someone.

    /big rant

RF: Please, (name), we just met. You gotta buy me a drink first.

    ST: You should call me

Shit tests happen all the time. The person giving it isn't usually saying it to be nasty, though; it's just a way to screen others through their responses and reactions.

Shit tests are good. I forget which instructor said this. . . But a shit test is a lot like a rope. Say you're climbing a mountain and this rope falls down, you think well awesome, i'm so happy this rope came along this will make climbing this mountain so much easier. What do you do next though? You give the rope a few tugs(I.E. shit tests) to see if it is stable and legitimate for you to climb it.

I gave this helping rope to a guy. We were in a kind of set where i was, a girl and him. I was laid back, studying this guy moves, i didn't try to amog him whatsoever, i've seen some potential in him because he was at bigger age then me. So at a point it the interaction wen't a bit weird, this guy became insecure or something and because i wasn't sure if he just has a bad day or he is usually like this, i threw him a rope, like BnG said. It was pretty easy since i put on screen' some of the qualities he has, but was said in a sublte manner. He was already in the water high up to his neck, if he'd not take this helping hand/rope he'd drawn for good.

Of course, he didn't take it... what i've seen in him wasn't even on his list of traits, he was bluffing in hope of a miracle.

I like your answers, keep it going! cheers!

Sounds like testing to BS to me. If someone is testing you for BS, then you messed up somewhere or try hard or something. If you're completely honest with yourself youll never get a shit test. I know no one ever thinks I'm lying or trying to do anything skeezy to look cool, because I'm not. Maybe interest and shit tests are getting mixed up.

Youre a bossy one, arent you?
ST: Can you buy me this?

RF: Sure, right after you buy me a red sports car.
ST: I don't have time to see you tonight.. (After that she said herself that she could possibly come over to my place)

Ehh, I dont think that reframe will work. Sounds very offended in that situation the RF I would choose would be:

    Ah, alright.

And just leave it at that

    Anyways

    RF: Drunk on life
    ST: Your friend is cute

Strange, I thought Savoy used that line often. But maybe I am wrong.
