Unusual Name- Help on what to do

I have an unusual name -it is a family name and women tend to think it is cool but it is very hard for people to say correctly when I tell them it in loud or crowded places. The back and forth on how to pronounce it is a real mood killer. So, what should I do?
    1. Use a nickname? If so, any advice on what type? I was thinking of using something that is opposite of my personality - like Spike.
    2. Use a fake name? I have a good one that I have used for years that is cool and easy to understand. But, if I want any type if relationship, I have to explain the fake name later.
    3. Use my real name and give a business or personal card to the person since the name is much easier when someone reads it.
What should I do? I like #1 the best.

I have a simple name and people still cant pronounce it right 90% of the time so i know how it is. If your just meeting someone you can sort of pretend to introduce yourself as someone else, like say the names bond, james bond. Perhaps not that but you get the idea, some well known name. It usualy gets a laugh out of most girls and if you do it right you can run with it for the rest of the night and it usualy makes them even more curious about you if you dont tell them your real name.

But i also find your #1 option works as well, when they cant pronounce your name right, tease them about it and then come up with a nick name of some sort.

    No option 4?

What about option 4: changing your name officially?
... so you don't have to nickname or fake name.. and you can use your new name on your buisinesscards too, as it simply suposes to be there.

    Just a thaught.

A lot of people will Anglocize their name or they'll find something funny (but not too funny) for it to rhyme with.

Thanks for the help so far; keep the ideas coming

My name is Brayton, and I say it with a southern accent that I cannot avoid that makes it even harder to understand.
