Thumbs up Sheriff & Big Business Bootcamp - Sydney, July 2009 (with Future & Keychain)

Thanks everyone for your help. I had a great time.

Going into it i had already been using lots of the material discussed and loved. However Keychain knew this and pushed me to try things that i hated.

In the end it is what i needed to become better.

Would have liked a little more on day game. May be next time if there is some that are a little more experienced change it up and do some day game and reduce some of the night game? Either way i had a ball and would recommend it everyone.

Now just can’t wait to put it to good use.

Thanks guys.

Anyone out there who did the course with me and in Sydney drop me a line so we can hang out.

Thumbs up

I am really glad I did this boot camp.

It isn’t cheap but in terms of the personal development I achieved in the 3 days it was worth every penny.

As someone who’s approach was to get drunk and then try and hit on girls when they were by themselves and consequently never managed to pull or even get a number before now I was rather sceptical about how much could actually be achieved with a weak specimen like me.

Yet after just one day of seminar coaching on our first night out in the field I walked out of the club at the end of the night with 2 girls, literally one in each arm!

These guys really do seem to know what they are doing. I wont lie, it was f***ing hard, especially the first few hours in the field dealing with approach anxiety that has been there your whole life, but I had 3 instructors looking after me during the night Sheriff, BigBusiness and Metro all pushing me harder and harder to break through the demons.

Each time I crashed I was given run downs on what I was doing wrong, body language, posture, energy, locking in etc etc. Each time I was corrected and then sent back in, again and again. The hardest thing was to trust them and not listen to your own inner voices that were all screaming noooo.

Metros approach seemed to be to push me off a cliff by getting me to open progressively bigger and bigger sets until I was opening mixed sets of 7 or 8 people a piece. I still wasn’t anywhere near experienced enough to last very long in the set but each time I crashed & burned I walked away with my feet an inch further off the ground feeling my cojones growing. After opening a dozen or so sets like this I was walking on cloud 9 and was opening sets of 2 or 3 girls without even raising an eyebrow, which was how I ended up bouncing 2 girls out of there to another bar where they bought me drinks and fought each other to flirt with me…my only regret is that the instructors hadn’t taught me how to transition a 3some on my first day! But I have dates with the girls already lined up this week via the text and phone game I was also taught on the course.

Sheriff was a really good workshop manager and genuinely seems to care that everyone in the workshop benefits from the skills being taught by the very charismatic Instructors he brought with him in abundance. Just watching these very average Joes come alive at night and ply their nocturnal trade with such panache was so inspiring.

Looking forward to sarging with the Sydney guys from this workshop soon!

A real eye opener experience.

I enjoyed my self every minute there. The instructors where funny, awesome and so much willing to help you out.

The atmosphere in the room while learning made it such an easy place to be at. The night games were sensational. With every instructor and assistance stepping you and guiding you on how to improve each time.

I would of love to see more body language techniques. But over all experience was something that I definitely will never forget.

Anyone who attended that boot camp, keep in touch. Now we know what we are capable of doing.

Taf: i'm going to try to keep this thread concise. This is my first bootcamp tho, i'm nervous as hell, i feel borderline agoraphobic, i can't even piss in public anymore, so this thread probably won't be concise.
I posted that about a week ago in another forum asking for some help regarding what to do in order to prepare for this bootcamp. Being blunt, choosing to take this bootcamp was one of the hardest things I've done in a long time. The idea of going into clubs in itself worried me, opening sets was absolutely terrifying. I actually woke up in a panic on Friday evening thinking about going to the clubs the next evening. I'm positive I had the worst anxiety from our group. I'm assuming some of the other dudes from my camp didn't realize how brutal my anxiety was.

Sheriff was mentioning a few times about how it should be fun and exciting to be opening girls. I listened, tried to convince myself, but in the back my head my subconscious was screaming at me "Yeah fucking right!".

I'll spend the rest of the post doing a more specific review of camp & my impressions.

Pre-Bootcamp
I got in touch with Sheriff after signing up for the bootcamp and expressed a lot of my concerns. Sheriff and some others from LS community got back to me during the week and it went a long way to calming me down. Basically the gist of what he said was along the lines of "relax, I'm available, but we're very very good at what we do"..

Bootcamp Daytime Seminars
An absolute blast from start to finish, really fun. The amount of information thrown at us was definitely overwhelming at times, not all of it made sense to me at the time I was hearing it, some of it actually sounded outright absurd. Where it sounded absurd, the advice was just to try it in the evenings before reserving judgement. I didn't get to try it all (what we learned was from opening to sex & even relationships), but what I did try was outright shocking at just how right-on it was. Big Business has a routine to rapidly escalate Kino with a girl that worked really well for me. When he was showing it in class I was thinking to myself that it was funny but a bit retarded (sorry BB) but in the club I literally did exactly what he'd done in class. Not only was the girl eating it up, it was an absolute blast for me, and I can't wait to do it again.

Anyway, the seminars were well worthwhile and I've got pages and pages of notes. The coolest thing from what we learned in my opinion is that generally speaking it is a systematic approach. There are general stages we're to go through from the beginning and associated learnings and practices with it. As I gained competence in one stage, some of the next stages started to make more sense to me and I was able to recognize some of the teachings from the seminar.

Sheriff had us taking lots of breaks inbetween sections so we could chat and catch up. One of the benefits of this was that what we learned wasn't a cookie cutter approach applied to everyone. The pauses gave time to discuss more personally areas I was really struggling with in-field or relate material just discussed. Instead of brute forcing through problems, it allowed for suggestions and changes, some of which made a big difference for me.

Bootcamp In-Field Sessions
I think you can learn a lot just attending the seminars. That said, in my opinion it is exponentially better to do the evening in-field sessions. The start of the night on Friday was horrendous for me. I was so nervous and it showed, resulting in some absolutely brutal sets. The kind of things that made me dislike clubs so much in the first place and wanting to leave the club asap.

That said, through a combination of demos & pushing me into sets for the night, slowly it got better. I'll go into a mini review of each coach in the next section but Elate was great at pushing me into sets as well as demoing for me opening. Future just blew me away with demos and was so spot-on with pointing out small things that made big differences. From how to stand, what to think of, how to cultivate the right body language, breathing techniques, etc. By the end of the night I was bitching about getting blown out of sets by girls who were ugly & who I wouldn't sleep with anyway. Sheriff's response was to throw me in direct with the hottest girls in the vicinity, Future's was to give me a bit of a /smack for approaching girls I'm not attracted to. This was a major turning point for me.

I'm not sure what to add beyond this about night sessions, save to say that they're worth every penny. By the last night I was opening like crazy and honestly speaking without any approach anxiety. I made out with a couple girls, got the numbers from girls that I wanted (but unfortunately flaked), opened w/out reservation and most importantly was enjoying myself. The approach anxiety is back for me now and I'm stressing about going to the club again tomorrow evening. That said, my level of stress is miniscule compared to what it was, and there are some levels that I'm actually looking forward to it now. I've got the tools & have gotten enough of a taste to be itching to peel back the next layer.

Instructor Reviews

Sheriff
This camp was Sheriff's show and from the beginning it was abundantly clear how important for him it was that it was a success for everyone involved. The variation of instructors & the different backgrounds and perspectives they brought really enhanced what I was able to take away from the weekend.

Sheriff went out of his way multiple times for me personally to accommodate and help me get the most out of the weekend. I don't want this review to come across as too positive but honestly, I genuinely appreciate everything he did. In many cases it seemed almost beyond what was required and included in the camp. Anyway, I obviously don't know what the camps are like when run by other instructors, but Sheriff sets the bar really really high. There's a reason LS has never had to give a refund from one of his camps. I can happily and without any reservations recommend taking a camp with Sheriff, you won't be disappointed. Even if you're an anxiety riddled freak like me.

Keychain
Keychain is going to be the hardest for me to review because I didn't get a chance to work in field with him. If I had to pick a couple words to describe him however, it'd be "meticulous" and "knowledgeable". This dude knows his shit. When he's teaching, he's very careful to insure you understand and further pays close attention to detail. He was also more than happy to help when I digressed him and caught him on breaks to pester about daygame stuff. Beyond that though, what also struck me about Keychain is that he'd be very good for more advanced game and sticking points. The rapid escalation stuff was cool, many of his stories jaw dropping, but also something I wasn't yet ready personally try over weekend. I know some other guys did however and w/ positive results. Would love to catch up with Keychain again at some point in the future.

Big Business
The guy I had the most fun in-field with this weekend. I'm not sure how to describe it really save to say BB's style is so fun it's a bit infectious. It's hard not to enjoy yourself when he's around and he was constantly pushing my limits. It was a more subtle sticking point for me, but instead of having to fake higher energy BB actually injected a bit of it. The openers he was pushing me with had me chuckling myself a few times which had I think cascading effects on the sets.

The other thing I found hilarious and great with BB was isolation. Isolating girls was one of the things I had some difficulty with, with BB it was spooky & almost like cheating. He'd tell me to open a set, I'd go and do so and after a while be talking to my target. A couple times after talking for a while, I looked around and her friends were gone. I didn't move her, I didn't do anything, it was just me isolated with the girl. Was like ok cool, now I can try working on some of the escalation stuff.

Again, definitely & highly recommend Big Business if he's in your area and you have a chance to work with him.

Future
I'm not sure where to start with Future, save to say from the first break when he was giving advice to another student it was just so right on the money for me, I immediately asked if I could be in his group (in the camp they pair you with a primary instructor). It's not fair to say that this dude made my weekend, because everyone as a team genuinely was awesome, but Future played a major role for me and most importantly helped me shape the start of a long-term changes. I am still sorting out a lot of what we talked about and I suspect it'll be some time still before it fully sinks in and becomes ingrained.

Bottom line, the most important stuff I took from Future was focusing on re-building a life I love. Obviously sleeping with hot women will play a large part of that and I gained the techniques to practice towards that end (in particular wanting SNLs). Beyond that though, I also want the kind of life where sex and hot women are an integral byproduct (but not the focus) and to be open to falling in love again. Future helped me with a start on how to work towards realizing this ultimately.

Sorry Future, I'm afraid I can't articulate things well enough to do you justice. Suffice is to say, if you are reading this and have a chance to get involved with Future, seriously don't hesitate. I'm almost tempted to say I'll give you your money back if you're disappointed. (almost) :P

Final Thoughts
Long review guys. Taking off the humble hat for a moment, my time is important, so hopefully the effort I put into this will give readers an idea of the value I place in this bootcamp & the guys behind it.

Should also thank Kit (not sure his super power name other than chubby_chaser :P) and Elate for the approach coaching, you guys were both solid. As well as Karea for pushing me to take the camp.

Only last point worth making is that the camp wasn't an immediate life fix for me. I'm happy with the progress I made but being a little cliche, this is one of those high effort / high return rewards and I have a lot of work left to do. It's nice however to have a tangible path towards this end.

Default Sydney Bootcamp Review (July 2009 - Sheriff, Big Business, Future, Keychain)

The seminars were packed with information and practical techniques, including demonstrations of how to deliver particular lines / routines. The presenters clearly had enormous experience and knowledge. The pace at which the material was delivered didn't slow over the 3 days.

The reasons behind techniques and strategies made the material 'live' and provided emphasis according to importance.

I was surprised (and impressed!) by the number of instructors involved in teaching the bootcamp.

The two 'in the field' sessions were fun and challenging. It was apparent the instructors were quickly able to 'peg' where the students were at - and therefore appropriately tailor the advice given and challenge the students to get to the next level.

Best aspects? Comprehensive nature, quality (and fun) instruction, high intensity.

Worst aspects? It only lasted 3 days - so much to learn; so little time!

Thumbs up Sheriff and Big Business Sydney Bootcamp, July 2009 (with Future and Keychain)

I know this review is a bit late (damn you optus and evil swine flu!) but here it goes. I don't even know where to start but hey, even though it sounds cliché these guys are the bomb-digiddy. At first I was a little intimidated since you read about how crazy these guys are but then when you meet them they're just normal awesome guys who are genuinely there to help you improve. Sheriff (an absolute legend) was the ringleader of the BC and brought along more instructors than what I was expecting and all with extreme insight, knowledge and ability.

The seminars were excellently taught with emphasis on practicality rather than just dishing out conceptual theory 24/7. The only downside (which is probably more of an upside) would be that there's almost too much quality info crammed into the time given (as I regularly found myself trying to write new notes before completing the previous ones, in an attempt not to miss too much).

Infield is truly where the action is. The learning and rapid development you get here far beats anything else. All the instructors know their shit so well that they immediately find your weak points and help push you (sometimes literally ha) into the right direction needed. I found myself drastically improving through every set (even when my spirits were slightly down, eg. from being crazy tired or after a 4 set of girls immediately started pointing at me and going "It's the book, it's the book...") haha. I cannot stress how beneficial the infield portion is. It really makes a difference regardless of your level and mind-set and on top of all that it's hilariously fun and the results speak for themselves

Here’s a brief review on the instructors:

ACs- Sorry guys I don’t know your aliases, but you all know who you are, and I thank you for all the help and guidance you showed me. Let’s hang soon.

Keychain- awesome guy, knows and does his shit to the 't', although we didn't get to hang infield, from the results of the other guys' who did and by his seminar teaching, there's no denying this guy's got real magic and is more than willing to pass it on to you. Too bad he's a Pome haha

Future- this guy talks the talk in seminar and walks the walk infield. His breakthrough comfort stuff is truly insane and it's almost a shame how freaking hilarious he is while teaching it in such a short amount of time. I was constantly holding back laughter while trying to seriously learn all of the stuff. Keep making those Mario sounds infield mate haha

Big Business- The name speaks for itself. He's like a corporate giant with his stuff. In seminar I probably only got to copy down half of the things and examples he taught (my fault for not asking to specify or repeat, make sure you do!). I spent the most time with him infield and on top of being the funniest dude, he truly helped me to improve drastically with every single bit of feedback he gave. Thanks a lot mate, and try to keep off the floor at least for the next couple of BCs haha

Sheriff- This guy truly defines legend. There is a reason that he hasn’t ever needed to give a refund. Without his expertise, not only would the BC not have gone so well but I know at least with me personally I wouldn’t have developed nearly as much. He teaches and structures the seminars really well and makes sure that if we’re unclear about something, that we discuss and understand it before moving on. He’s truly selfless with his time and genuinely puts his heart and soul into these BCs, just to help us guys improve.

Now I know I sound like I’m kissing arse here but honestly I had a blast at the BC and full credit goes to Sheriff who organized and made it possible.

If ever you guys are back in Sydney give me a buzz if you wanna hang (and of course pick up

To the other guys from the Sydney BC stay in touch and I’ll catch yas on the flip side soon!

Well that’s it and if you made it this far I suggest you get off the computer right now, go out and practice, or better yet do a BC…you’ll thank me later.

I promised Sheriff I would write them a review of his bootcamp that I attended last month. I was not there as a fee-paying student, so my overall experience would be different from the above students.

I was not sure what I was going to get out of the weekend. I was already reasonably familiar with Love Systems beforehand, having read MB and been to the superconference last year. I highly recommend the SC, where you get to meet and work with dating coaches which may fit your style/personality best. But this time around, I heard that Future and Big Business were coming. And I got to catch up with Keychain again.

Having instructors there to explain concepts really helped out a lot. I felt I had got a much better handle on what was behind L.S. There were aspects of it that I hadn't heard given so much emphasis before. In particular the idea of movement. If you have read The Game, you may obsessed with ‘saying the right things’. If you have watched some infield footage, you may think you need to touch her ‘properly’ or have good body language. But logistical escalation is often the forgotten child of pickup. It was a blind spot that I did not see before that weekend. But it is the very thing that improves your results heaps.

Overall, the 3 days seminars was jam-packed with information. Here are some of the things that stood out for me. Sheriff has a unique and yet simple ‘triangle’ to help you diagnose your own game without overloading your mind with complicated sequential phases whilst in a venue. Big Business teasing/banter lines are worth the price of the seminar alone. Future gave us a sneak peek at his breakthrough comfort model and his passion for teaching (and life) is so contagious that you will feel inspired whenever he opens his mouth.

Every instructor was selfless in imparting their knowledge, be it specific lines, personalized feedback or particular tactics to deal with various hurdles you have or will encounter in your dating life. Each short break was a golden opportunity for students to review what had just been taught or for them to ask clarifying questions. Students who got numbers the night before, were able to pick instructors’ brains regarding text/phone game. The students who make good use of instructors’’ time got the most out of the BC, imho.

Quite often, gold gems were delivered at a pace faster than what a human hand can write. I would strongly recommend students to either ask an instructor to repeat himself (at the risk of disrupting the teaching flow) or to catch up with other students during mini-breaks. Take notes. And keep your eyes open.

What I noticed about Sheriff is that he often asked students to verbalize why they think X or Y works or why a particular technique or principle is important. After hearing a few responses, he will then add his own spin or elaborate on the students' answers. I then realized that he wanted to see whether there were gaps in the students’ understanding and then filled in those gaps with relevant knowledge. Quite often, students come to bootcamps with preconceived ideas and beliefs. Sometimes some prior knowledge is what is holding students back. There is so much contradictory stuff out there. But Sheriff will make sure you understand why something works and what it intends to do.

An interesting aspect of the program that I liked was when Sheriff and Keychain, on the third day, gave each student a list of recommended interview series. Each recommendation was tailored to that student’s level of game and could only come from the instructors having a good understanding of where each student was at and what would benefit him most. This personal touch was felt throughout the whole bootcamp.

Sheriff brought to Sydney a team of all stars instructors, junior instructors and approach coaches. As a confident leader, he lets each of them cover portions of the seminar in which they have more expertise (e.g. Future on story telling, comfort, Keychain on Day game, physical escalation and fashion, and Big Business on teasing/humor). Having more than one instructor on your program allows you to experience different gaming styles, get a variety of opinion on any particular subject and meet more guys who are learning together.

More interactive exercises would have been great. The opening exercise was very helpful to students since they got feedback on their approaches, as well as the opportunity to correct specific body language issues which they were not aware of. One student was relentlessly corrected by Future until he could smirk properly. One area that was not deeply covered was identity and how to find out which aspect of your identity to convey to people. Tenmagnet in his BCs spent a good amount of time sorting out each student’s background and passion in order to build an attractive identity that he can then focus on.

Sheriff reminds me of my favourite high school economics teacher. The latter was the one who inspired me to study business in college and shaped a lot of my views in my discipline of study. For one, they both dress the same and they both live the life they want. As lead instructor, Sheriff is a combination of three roles: a father figure to his students (yeah I listened to the alpha male interview – and this contains the life wisdom that your dad probably failed to give you when you were growing up), the gym teacher who pushes you beyond your perceived physical or mental limits(and you thank him for it later) and the Dr Phil of finding out the problems of his ‘patients’ and providing practice advice on how to overcome them. Unlike Dr Phil, however, he gives practical advice devoid of any catchphrase (except whipping it out).

If you go in with reasonable expectations - that you are there to learn how to have success with women (and not that Sheriff and his instructors will download themselves knowledge into your brains and turn you into instant super-PUAs) then I think you can get a lot out of this. You will have an in-depth knowledge and first hand experience of what, imho, is one of the most comprehensive, all-encompassing seduction methods out there.
