Mystery Method Bootcamp Reviews -Compiled old Reviews-

I just got done MM boot in NYC, and I wanted to take a moment to commend all of the guys who were involved in realizing the NYC bootcamp this past weekend, and to thank MMinc for collecting such a great group of instructors.
My first night, Hawaii gave me personal feedback over the course of an hour on four or five sets, he clearly pointed out things that I was doing strongly, and areas for improvement which gave me a good guide for later sets that evening. I didn't see him open sets himself, focusing instead on providing the students with feedback and answering questions.
Jdog... man is this guy ever cool. He has such a relaxed, laid-back, playful style, it was great watching him do his thing. I had a bit of a problem being relaxed and playful, seeing Jdog do his thing really painted me a good mental picture of what a relaxed, fun, super-playful interaction looks like.
JD also made a great impression on me. He gave me a hell of a lot of tips on everything from peacocking, to strategically positioning yourself in the venue, to constructing and developing your own material and a ton of other stuff. Seeing him and Jdog work a set in the line to get into the club (right next to me) on the first night really demonstrated the power of MM technology. He and Jdog both showed me that you can be alpha without looking intimidating as Matador (and I) do... it really is all about personality and energy and not about any other superficial factors.
Future... man what the hell can I say about this guy? AWESOME! This is a guy who will never pull any punches, he only ever gives the truth, but he delivers it with such humor, energy, and enthusiasm that not only do you accept it, you REMEMBER it... Future's comments stick with you, because they are so funny they are hard to forget. He busts your balls and you love him for it. No wonder he's awesome at this!
As for Matador... this man is just beyond. So alpha, so cool, so charismatic and just plain fun to be around... he pulls you into his reality, and that's a damn great place to be. More than all the routines and everything, Matador made this bootcamp a real success for me on the second night. I was struggling a bit with hooking sets, which I had been doing consistently the previous night. I was feeling a little frustrated, and Matador gave me some quick tips and guided me through a set to get my energy back up. The real magic, though, came when he pushed me into high energy "kamikaze" sets... I really started going nuts, I stopped thinking about what I was doing and just started doing it. Opening, stacking, multiple threading, kino escalation, locking in, qualifying, I was doing the stuff we had talked about and to my own surprise, I wasn't thinking about it, just doing it. For those minutes I got my first taste of what Pickup can be like when things come together, and it only happened because Matador took the time to give me personal attention, figured out what was wrong, and solved my problem without me even knowing what it was. Now that I know that feeling, I will be able to search for it during my own time in field, but had I never felt it I think I would have searched for it on my own for many months. Plus he opened a really hot girl by giving her the finger, which was terrific.
MM bootcamp has given me a great head start in learning pickup, and somehow without even realizing it, has given me a kick in the ass to improve all areas of my life. When the hell did that happen?

If you point your finger at me, I'll break it off

    That's really great Obie!
If MM ever comes to SF and it's not sold out I'll probably attend.

GameBoy, our waiting list for SF is always pretty full. We don't usually even bother to post SF programs anymore - whenever an instructor wants to do SF, we just email people on the wait list. Sorry if this has delayed stuff for you!

    Mystery Method Bootcamp Reviews

Okay, it's fucking expensive. And there's so much shit online. And there are DVDs, and e-books, and lairs. Nevertheless, I decided to fuck up my credit history and try out a MM Bootcamp, go all the way. Holy shit was it worth it.
I just finished the San Francisco MM Bootcamp over this past weekend, and...holy crap. I know that this is a Mystery-sponsored forum and this may seem kiss-ass, but I have to say this. It didn't suck. In fact, it has already changed my life. Driving down the same streets I drove down for years before this weekend...the streets look different. Opportunities have opened up where I never imagined them. It feels like my blood chemistry has shifted somehow.
Sinn and Future led it, along with Ajax, Scott, Masters, and Cedar. We even got a bit of cross-pollination from some Pickup101 guys. ALL were incredible. Watching these guys in-field made all this Internet keyboard jockeying seem ridiculous, and the personal attention that each one of us got was priceless. Made a bunch of great new friends/wings as well.
Yes, it's good to read a lot, but only to enhance one's in-field experience. And doing this bootcamp has not only given my game wings, I can feel that it has changed my life. My outlook. My perspective on what is possible. Yes, it's cool to be able to pick up chicks. But doing this stuff goes soooo much deeper than that. When you're really ready to change your life, save up the money you spend on some other self-improvement regiment, and do one of these bootcamps. You won't be sorry.

An MM bootcamp is the kick up the ass many guys need. The theory and in field help you get from guys who know MM inside out, have a wealth of experience and are there to help you is something you really can't put a price on.
I'll certainly be trying to get to one before the Summer is out.

Very nice!!! I'm planning on attending an MM bootcamp this summer. I think you may have pushed me over the edge...
If you have time, could you please break down how they analyzed your sticking points? I am thinking of having a 1-on-1 consulting with an instructor sometime too.

For me, the personalized break down of my own stuff was perhaps the most valuable. There really is sooo much for a newbie like me to remember in A1-3. Each instructor gave me different, but congruent, advice, both in-field and in class. If you're considering doing a one-on-one, I'd look for someone who works with your personality. For instance, I'm naturally introverted, so doing this stuff is really contrary to my nature (tho not for much longer). Sinn and Future are both exceptionally alpha and extroverted (one has built an identity as a comedian, the other as a comedian and actor, respectively). While both were amazing 'wings' and instructors in-field, I feel I learned more by watching them than by what they told me (tho they did give excellent advice). Cedar, Ajax, Scott, and Masters were closer to my temperament, and I felt that the advice they gave me was closer to my current reality.
As far as breaking down sticking points, specifically, they'll help your game wherever it's at. I'm still working through the very beginning of attraction, so they were giving me a lot of advice on body language, voice projection, and other beginner stuff.
I really went into the bootcamp wanting these guys to take me apart and put me back together again. One of my favorite parts of it was having Sinn give me advice on creating a strong identity for myself, and then giving fashion and grooming advice relative to my own body and identity.

He and Sinn both. Great banter. And great examples.
