    Hey Guys,
    A possible suggestion....
Film all bootcamp approaches and give them breakdowns later.
I am pretty sure a lawyer could help in such situations.
Some bootcamps are doing this already.
As long as it's legal and helpful it's something that should be looked into.

I feel rather bummed that you guys didn't get the same bootcamp experience as Crono/Eisenstein/Brick and myself received, but I personally think this is an EXCELLENT thread. Guys, don't be afraid of sharing your experiences. It honesty looks funny for any company to have 100% glowing reviews. Where the heck can they improve if they're not given any constructive feedback?

Absolutely. Actually, several months ago, Masters personally recommended Individualized Training for myself. I then started talking to Crono about this, considering that Tenmagnet had a wicked review for Individualized Training he did for a student in Washington DC. We opted for the bootcamp.

Masters filmed me doing a set. I filmed Crono and Eisenstein winging. Videos are your friend (within legal limits, check your local laws gentlemen!!!).

He talked about writing stories and forming an identity but no intructors ever helped the students do anything. In fact there werent even any coaches around during sundays lecture. They had all already left.
Oops, I meant to address this issue in my last post above. When did you take your bootcamp? Apparently the storywriting exercise is a somewhat new feature. I don't want to get my information wrong so I hesitate to mention when this exercise was implemented into the seminars.

    It depends on the instructor.

    A couple more:
Give a copy of VAH to registrants and make it required reading. Other companies do this with their manuals.
Exercises. Have clients work on BL, voice tonality and tempo, and kino before they get in set. Give them stock answers and the attitude to affect when getting called out on as an aPUA.

Just because Gomer Pile decided to take a bootcamp knowing nothing about the comunity other than only being half way through the game (acually happened) and hes never done a cold approach DOESNT entitle him to special treatment and any extra time with the instructors. He paid the same ammount as I did and I expect to recieve the same ammount of instruction. He definately doesn't deserve lop sided instruction because he failed to educate himself prior to comming.
I busted my ass before the BC reading everything I could and doing tons of approaches. I knew that I wanted to get my game to a certain point and use the BC instruction to burst past it. I was actually worried I was too low skill going into the camp, but I was proven wrong. I got no instruction on my conversational flow, attraction routines and delivery and thats what I really wanted going in. I'd say 80% of my "critique" was just compliments on what they saw that they liked.
Also it really pissed me off when Mehow said he was doing Mehow Method and he wouldn't teach it. I understand that different instructors have different styles, but I expect them to EXPLAIN IT! I see now that it was his last BC before he started his own company so that probably explains it why he didn't want to teach.
Funny story- One student pulls out his pirated copy of the VAH he's printed out and plops it down in front of Lovedrop. LD just kind of glared at him, I thought he was going to smack him! He just goes 'yep, thats my book' and moves on.

Surely if the bootcamp is supposed to work on a 3:1 ratio then by Saturday at least you should be able to group your 12 students into 4 groups of 'similar' ability to avoid the "3 instructors each 1 on 1 with a newbie and 9 more advanced guys getting pissed off"
It felt like as there were two bootcamps running that weekend that we got the 'Best' master instructor but the lower quality approach coaches (sorry guys). Not that Dynamic or Mehow were low quality AT ALL but it was Dynamics 2nd bootcamp i think (please don't take that personally, i had NO problem with Dynamic when you could get hold of him!), Mehow said he didn't work for MM and wasn't able to discuss half the stuff he was doing and squirrel was 'missing' most of the time. It became a running joke with the 11 oither students playing 'where's squirrel'
And we didn't even mention the 30 min of field time on Saturday that all the instructors spent together BS-ing with a guy from underscore who stumbled on our bootcamp.
I can remember 3 of us standing in compound on Saturday night watching and getting a bit hacked off that this guy was eating our already limited instructor time. I remember having to go up to LD and mr X (I do know his name but not sure if he's cool with me posting it) and be all HEY MAN. WHO ARE YOU?
Now we really DO sound like a bunch of complaining old women!! and believe me, I would DEFINATELY have done the 1 on 1 for a few days if i'd known how the field time was going to play out.

If your sticking points are A1 and A2, I hear Pickup101's Art of Attraction is a killer bootcamp to go to. Hopefully they could provide you with the guidance you desire.
Don't let us put you off! I would just research who will be instructing and more importantly the number of students and who the approach coaches are.
Im pretty sure the guys who had sticking points at A1 and A2 did make a LOT of progress. But people who were already past that were stalling. It's probably starting to sound worse than it actually was, i kiss closed a chick on Friday that has since turned into a FB but I did so without any outside help or post kiss critique.

I don't want to downplay the Seminar portion at all. Lovedrop was great, I learned alot of stuff from him. During the in field portion Lovedrop was basically an overseer for the most part, he was making sure students were in set and stuff like that. I did 1 set with him and he showed me the playfulness of negging, which is much easier to explain in person than text.. obviously. Lovedrop was playing the daddy role I think, which as the master instructor is expected.
Dynamic was great, he'd demo, push into sets, etc all the stuff I expected from an MM coach. I've talk to Dynamic a few times since the BC and he's really cool.. you can read his posts here if you're unfamiliar with him. I am considering doing a 1-1 with him, he just has the you can do this, it's learnable vibe.
Mehow was cool too, but like Levo said.. when you'd ask him about material he'd be like "I can't teach that, it isn't MM" etc (I see why he couldn't teach non MM at a BC, but I expected the coaches to be using MM material for the BC)
Squirrel was hard to find and I saw him spend most of his time on one student, I forget his name (don't think he posts) who was shared the most similarities. The said student and squirrel hung out almost exclusively, it felt like he was getting a 1v1 almost, lol. This understandably ticked me off a bit. I did like Squirrels extra seminar though.
I went into the BC expecting 8 people, when I arrived there was 12, I thought "hrm maybe 4 are doing only seminar portion?", but they did the in field to, this sorta surprised me. This resulted in the venues getting sarged out a bit quicker, but luckily Atlanta had venues that could support us - we changed venue twice friday and stayed in the same venue all night Saturday (it was much bigger than fridays venues). I got over several sticking points such as opening mixed sets, drinking an insane amount of alcohol, and a few others. I don't think Squirrel or Mehow were official coaches they were just giving LD a hand (there was another BC running the same weekend), but Dynamic was and it showed (in a good way).
Basically I agree with Levo and ChoppedLiver, but I also wanted to add my perspective.
Edit: Caesche I am not saying do not go to a Bootcamp, I learned from it and benefitted from it. I am saying it could've been tweaked and got a few kinks out.
