I took a 1 on 1 with
Soul over a weekend in early September in London, here's how it went.
First some background info, I'd attended
Soul's daygame
seminar in London in June 2008 and thought it was great, lots of useful ideas and information and very well presented. I hadn't taken any kind of pick-up
bootcamp before this but since the
seminar I have found it quite easy to open women with an indirect approach in the daytime and have had quite a few number closes and instant dates, but I'd never gone direct.
I did my first direct approach the week before the 1 on 1 in Riga, Latvia. I'd opened quite a few women (all 10s including a two set of stunning blondes) indirectly during my weekend there but when I saw this HB12 crossing the street I knew it was time to gird up my loins and it was now or never to go direct. When I gave her the direct opener in the manner taught by
Soul she was really receptive and melted immediately, we walked a few blocks together chatting and it turned out she was a stripper on her way to work. This threw me and I didn't think to ask for her number before she entered the club. It was this kind of thing, not being able to think on my feet or not knowing what to do next that I hoped the 1 on 1 would provide the answers to.
When I initially arranged the 1 on 1
Soul contacted me and suggested that on the Saturday night we go to a fetish party to help with my
kino/escalation problem so I had to buy some PVC pants and shirt and a collar (maybe for the next one I'll get a whip too lol): Besides the PVC gear I'd also previously had a days shopping trip to update my wardrobe with a style consultant
Soul had recommended at his
seminar, worth every penny. Ladies definitely appreciate someone who is well dressed and it also boosts your confidence greatly.
Then, a few days before the 1 on 1,
Soul emailed the breakdown of the weekend, he suggested 4 hours daygame on the Saturday, the Fetish party on Saturday night, 4 hours daygame on Sunday and to leave Sunday night free for any dates I had collected over the weekend and also because there wouldn't be much going on anyway, with another 4 hour session to be scheduled later in the month.
On the day itself we'd arranged to meet at a cafe in Leicester Square in London. It was a really wet, miserable day and
Soul immediately said it could be difficult to find suitable girls on a day like this so he would be willing to postpone the session if he thought it was going to be fruitless. As we had a coffee we were joined by two of
Soul's friends, LondonPlayboy and Gsand. LondonPlayboy was an expert in Fetish partys and briefed me on the ettiquete of these events and the breakdown of the participants (percentage of first timers,
swingers, and real fetish types etc.) and how to relate to the type of women that would be there.
Gsand has been winging with
Soul for a while and also gave me some good advice about street pick-up.
Soul then asked me about myself and what my reasons for doing the 1 on 1 were so he could get an idea of how to structure the sessions. For the record my reasons for doing the 1 on 1 were to meet more high quality women, have lots of fun doing it and if I met my soulmate in the process that would be a bonus. I also told
Soul I was really into salsa and that I teach it as well and he reckoned I should really emphasise this during interactions with women. Once we had finished our coffees it was umberellas up and into the rain. we walked towards Covent Garden and Gsand demonstrated an approach on an attractive blonde girl, whilst
Soul broke down for me what was going on as we watched from a distance.
Then it's my turn,
Soul had his in-built girl spotting radar turned all the way up as he kept saying "her","that girl over there", "do you fancy her" I must admit I hadn't noticed half the girls he was pointing out as I was too busy listening to
Soul, walking in the rain and trying to avoid other umbrellas, so my full attention wasn't focused on girl spotting.
Soul picked out the first few targets and I was given my instructions on what to do then it was into action. Funnily enough I'd meet another girl I fancied more to open as I was chasing the chosen target. Well at first it was strolling after her, but this wasn't what
Soul wanted, he wanted to see some energy and speed. One of the first girls I opened was a German girl, we chatted for a while then I asked for her number but she didn't have a mobile phone and I didn't have a pen and paper to write my number on. Thinking about it later I should have asked her to go for a coffee then got a pen in the coffee shop or, as
Soul suggested, asked for her email and put it in my phone. You need to keep your wits about you and think on your feet or at least always carry a pen and paper.
Soul watched me do a number of approaches and gave me feedback, body language good but should be more animated.
Whilst walking back towards Covent Garden underground station Gsand did another approach on a cute blonde, as we watched from a distance you could see she was loving it. If I remember correctly she was the one that told him she had a boyfriend but she was really enjoying being chatted up in the street.
My next target was a Japanese girl, I followed her as she crossed the street and stopped to join a queue for a bank machine, I opened her indirectly (I didn't open her directly as I couldn't honestly say she was beautiful or fantastic) and we had a short chat but it wasn't going anywhere so I ejected as she moved up the queue. When I told
Soul how it had gone he pointed out the mistakes I had made, number one being opening her whilst she was waiting in line.
We were walking back towards Leicester Square and
Soul was talking when I saw an attractive blonde walking towards us so I said I would go after her. As I turned round I could hear
Soul shouting "quicker, hurry up!". I stopped her and told her she looked fantastic and I just had to speak to her. She was a bit taken aback, (she is Russian but lives in Italy) and was in London to learn English. This was perfect as I speak Italian and can say "you look beautiful today" in Russian as well, this really spiked her interest. She immediately opened up and asked me to take her photo against the local backdrop. I presume
Soul and Gsand were watching all the while but I was oblivious to anybody and just ploughed on. Gsand came up to us and offered to take a picture of us together so I introduced him as a friend. In fact, initially, she asked if I was going to go back to my friends, I just told her they were big enough to look after themselves and would meet them later at a party, didn't tell her it was going to be a fetish party though );
From this initial meeting we went on an instant date, first for a coffee, then a walk, then I found out she loved art so we went to the National Gallery (she was very impressed), another walk, dinner, (we split the bill), more walking and then a couple of bars.
The date lasted from about 3:00pm to 11:30pm and all the while
Soul texted me suggestions or we spoke on the phone when possible, usually when I went to the Gents.
I gleaned a couple of interesting points from my instant date. Over dinner she told me she had been approached a number of times whilst she had been in London, but always by undesirable, scruffy, smelly guys. This proves that if you're well presented and have had a shower you're in with half a chance. From the extent of my Russian vocabulary (good night, sweet dreams, kiss me) she deduced I had slept with a number of Russian women (well I'll admit to one here) and she said she found this attractive. At one or two points in the evening by the things she said I could tell she couldn't really believe that she was on a date with guy whom she had just met on the street, but on the other hand it was like we'd known each other for ages and she was really comfortable with the fact.
After I got back to my hotel I was feeling a bit knackered but
Soul was expecting me at the Fetish party so it was on with the PVC gear (you should try it by the way) and I took a taxi to the venue. I've got to say that I am not a clubber except for going to salsa clubs so arriving in a club were everybody is dressed up in leather, PVC or latex and some really kinky outfits was a real eye opener. I met up with
Soul, who was looking very fetching in his underpants and a spiky arm band, in the club.
There were some incredible looking women there all dressed up in either latex catsuits, sexy lingerie or next to nothing.
Soul pointed out women for me to approach and the first few didn't go too well, so it was time to turn up the
kino and I got my instructions to stop a girl, tell her she was beautiful and just push it as far as I could. Some of the highlights were a tall Russian blonde in a latex mini dress who I got against a wall and my hands on her body almost immediately,
Soul thought this was going to be a close. Another good one was a sexy exotic dancer in just her knickers and bra. There was also a two set and I just said they both looked beautiful with
kino on them both. Not one woman said fu@k off at any point, and it seemed that the more
kino the more they enjoyed it. It all seems bit of a blur now but this really was a big breakthrough for me, thanks
Soul!
I lost
Soul a couple of times but just carried on regardless using the same method, stop the girl, tell her she was beautiful, instant
kino. It worked like a dream. I did open quite a few women then some bloke would turn up at their side so I just spoke to the guy as though nothing had happened, in fact I got into quite a few good conversations this way. When I reported back to
Soul and told him their boyfriend had turned up he immediately replied "How do you know it was their boyfriend?"...good point, I was making assumptions.
At the end of the night (morning at 4:00am) I'd opened a beautiful black girl (a model) in sexy high heeled boots and a corset, she was great and we were talking for ages on a couch, all the time guys were coming up to her to say hello, she told me these were her "subs" as she was also a dominatrix. I called
Soul over and introduced him to her, she was very impressed by his spiky wrist thing.
What a great night! I opened more women that night, more beautiful, sexy women that is, than I ever did in the entire period I used to go to clubs (a long time ago).
I had a day two with the instant date from Saturday and
Soul gave me lots of advice and encouragement to convert this into an F-close. Unfortunately, this didn't happen due to a number of factors, but we had a good time none the less.
All in all an awesome weekend and I only got through half the tuition with
Soul. Thoroughly recommended. For the record I'm 51, so guys there are no excuses for not improving this area of your life no matter what age you are.
Well, that's the end of part one of this review, once I've finished the postponed sessions I'll write some more.
As you can probably tell from this report just a few hours in the daytime and a late night in a club and
Soul has made a big difference to my game, so I have no hesitation in recommending him for a 1 on 1.
