Thumbs up Sheriff Bootcamp - London, May 2008 (With Rokker & Soul)

This weekend I was lucky enough to spend time with Sheriff and the boys. As you should know by now, I got puked on by a girl at the last boot camp and I missed the first day of seminar . I came this weekend to make up the missed time and Sheriff let me hang out to help with the new students as well.

I really didn't know what to expect meeting Sheriff and Rokker . They have such massive reputations. I think we all create an image of these guys until we meet them. Sheriff is sound as a pound. He is a normal dude and a total smartass. Exactly the kind of guy I love to hang out with normally anyways. I never felt overwhelmed being around a guy who is so much further down the path. He is in a real relationship and you can learn a lot about relationship management just by being in the room with him. By now, I have met a ton of the big names in MM and let me tell you I had massive expectations from this guy. Being from the South in the USA, I was expecting a big redneck with a name like Sheriff . He is so normal but he is so good at what he does. The guy is a wicked friend and made me feel so welcome around him. We chilled a lot outside of boot camp time and I got to see his regular side. This guy is congruent because he is totally himself. He loves answering questions and he really makes it easy to understand. I hope he keeps teaching boot camps because this guy is a total legend.

Rokker - This guy is a total expert on SNLs. He is intimidating at first. He is a giant, beautiful blond. I thought I was in some kind of Nordic porno shoot when I met him. He came right up to me and made me feel like his best friend. His energy will rub off on you. You feel like if you are friends with guys with this much value, you have it too. Standing near him becomes a DHV. He winged me a couple of times and he is more than willing to let you pick the target. You have to escalate fast, because he will kclose right in front of you. It's amazing. Being around him you really learn kino . And kino is a massive sticking point for every student I've ever known. So much of his game is internalized that you have to make sure to ask a lot of questions or you might just miss something. I can't wait to work on his eye contact game. It's so potent dudes.

Stickler - This guy is so underrated it's insane. I am one of the luckiest boot camp students of all time. I live in a small town in the UK and I happen to have a legend of an instructor in my town. I connected with this guy last boot camp and I have hung out with him a few times since. He is every pua's dream. He looks so normal. When I saw him I was like this guy is either a master pua or an assassin. He is unassuming. But dudes. His game is like fight club , carved out of wood. He is a master of both club and day game . I got to see him shooting some video for a new day game product. It was amazing. This guy is super nice and super cool. If you live in the UK, you gotta meet this guy. His knowledge of relationship framing is also super solid. I still sometimes have massive AA issues. He just kicked them right out of me. His world view is really powerful and positive. This weekend, I thought I was just chilling Friday afternoon, so when I ended up chilling all weekend, I had no change of clothes. By Sunday night I smelled so bad I wanted to die. And I was still getting solid closes because of this guy. I mean how many guys can close smelling like a rotting corpse? I have spent a lot of time talking to Sam lately and he is a total legend. He doesn't post as much lately, but don't let that fool you. He is gonna be doing some big things real soon. If you in the scene because you want to find true love, this guy is the expert.

Soul - If you are looking to be a master seducer, look no further. This guy is honest and real. He makes you feel so comfortable and he has a deep understanding of sexuality. He was such a legend and let me crash with him this weekend. This guy is so sound. Just watching him game improves your game. And he is becoming a master body popper. It was so solid. Dancing is one of my strongest DHVs, so it was great to be around someone who knows about converting that. This guy is the current master of day/lovesystems .com/audio/vol-26-direct-game-soul -badboy -cortez" target="_blank" class="gal">direct game . Like Stickler he can pull babes right off the street. If you are looking for fast escalations, this guy can teach you. Also he has an amazing chocolate body. He can really help people in-set. This guy is super sound and really great at what he does. He has started taking on more of a leadership role in his seminars and it's so safe. He taught a story-telling lesson that blew my mind. I have been really weak in this area for months now. In 30 minutes, he turned my massive weakness into a strength. There are some guys that make you feel distant in pua, this guy is the opposite. He is a legend.

5.0 - This guy is new on the scene, but you should definitely read about him on Braddock 's blog. It's so funny, because I met him last boot camp and just thought he was a dude. On Saturday, I found out his handle and I almost died. I was like you're that dude?! And he was like, wait you're the dude that got puked on?! HA. We had both heard of each other separately. This guy is new on the scene and working his way up the ladder. His game is pretty tight and he is another acolyte of the new Social Circle system. If you meet this guy, you gotta ask him to show you his card throwing. It's so tight. He was building attraction with me! The guy has a different style of gaming and it's really solid. You can learn a lot by being around him. Check out his blog to see where it's all going.

I have now met a lot of the big names in LS. Some of the guys are less than there reputations. And some of the guys are more than you could ever expect. Sheriff is a true legend. He doesn't talk a big game, he lives it. This guy is amazing. You should all pray he keeps running boot camps .

Overall the boot camp was really wicked. Sheriff gives out a massive book of his own material on the model. It's amazing. All of these guys are great coaches. My brain is full of so much knowledge. If you are thinking of taking a boot camp , stop thinking and start acting. I was really lucky that I got to see the new students go from AFCs to masters in just 2 days. After everything ended, two of the students came out with us for a drink. I watched them game some serious HB9s and HB10s. It's almost unreal how fast these guys got good by being near Sheriff . I really can't wait to read their reviews and their LRs in the near future .

If you really want to see how much a boot camp improves you, just read my blog. I post almost daily and you can see step-by-step how I am improving from what I have learned.

You are absolutely right - it's a BIG sticking point for almost all our students. The thing about kino escalation is that it's a hard topic to write articles about - it's by far best demonstrated live in field. Seeing someone who knows how to kino escalate properly and then break it down for you will literally change your game. A huge reason why you should take a bootcamp to learn it properly.

I probably shouldn't say that eye contact is underestimated, because everyone knows that you should keep eye contact and so on, but there is a bunch of stuff you can do (and sub-communicate) with your eyes. I'm keen on writing an lengthy article about eye contact and how I use it in field when I have the time... it's powerful stuff, and if you use it right it's dynamite.

It was a lot of fun hanging out with you this weekend bro, you are one funny dude! I didn't know you didn't have any change of clothes, I just thought you really, really liked your new affliction shirt...

Default London Boot-camp May 2-4: Sheriff and Soul

London Boot-camp May 2-4: Sheriff and Soul

The boot-camp was fantastic. Thanks to all the instructors. I’m going to post a really detailed review as there were a lot of thoughts in my mind, even before coming to the boot-camp.

    Reason for Signing-Up

I had to sign up. I wanted more confidence with girls, work on my inner game and have my own identity and get over approach anxiety (which, as I now know, is almost impossible. Nearly everyone has it! Just push through it)

I came while I was in a relationship, which was a mistake. Unless you have rock hard confidence and inner game (which is unlikely as an AFC) you’re gonna be approaching girls all night long and will be at least tempted. If you’re in a traditional relationship, only come if you have that incredible confidence or don’t mind cheating. If you’re in an open one then good for you

Even before coming to the bootcamp , I sent Sheriff and Soul a post and they were really helpful and wanted to help out. I really appreciated that.

    1st Seminar

On the first day we met the instructors. What the hell was going on? They seemed like normal guys EXCEPT that they all seemed to have a strong identity and they cared about what we were doing. They gave some background on why they ended here and everyone in the room could relate.

1st day we covered the fundamental work on approaching , opening , transitioning and locking in. I confess I have a passion for learning about reading before doing, probably a form of procrastination, and so most of the stuff on this day I had come across. But it was useful to enforce it. I thought practising the openers on the instructors were useful but man... their bitch shields were up. I feel for someone with massive AA it would help a lot. I would prefer to be approaching a random set on the street to practise rather than with the instructors but they were able to give me feedback (to RELAX and not to talk like I’m acting). I could see the use.

    1st Night Infield

The student/staff ratio was incredible. It was essentially 1-1 the whole night!

The first night in the field was fucking crazy. Seriously, in bars and clubs I have approached girls less than 5 times in my life, and when I did they would have been single sets only, so only 5 girls in my life. Saturday night I approached 20 sets with between 1 and 7 girls ON MY OWN (maybe followed by my wing )! Fuck me. I must have met around 50 girls that one night. What is being taught DOES WORK! Do not have doubts on that.

If you’re not going to sign up as you have more important priorities in your life or you feel it costs too much then fine. But what is being taught does work. I managed to get in comfort with random girls all around the club in the first night. Now looking back I’m sure I could have extracted one or two.

Fivepointzero: He was my instructor for the first night and he’s so entertaining and has a great energy that makes girls attracted. He was teaching me on body language and being more assertive. It was crucial and I’m still focusing on it and its working. Everything he taught me could relate to normal day-to-day social interactions too, this is not just about pickup, it’s about being sociable. He was able to ground in the importance of the opener (which was that you can say anything – not just routines), locking in and then isolating. I have to say locking in is so damn fun. You just push them out your way and they don’t seem to care. HA! If you want to learn how to make sets fun, isolating and bouncing, then this guy is perfect for a 1-1 .

Stickler: Stickler helped me out while I was in set, letting me know when I had loads of IOIs and to try the Mystery k-close. Really approachable fun guy, easy to chat to and knows his stuff.

Soul: I didn’t work much with Soul but really friendly guy and gave advice to me on the 1st night to be more forceful and leading. Spoke to him throughout the seminar and would answer any questions you have. He lead the day game and lovesystems .com/audio/vol-26-direct-game-soul -badboy -cortez" target="_blank" class="gal">direct game portion of the seminar (Day 3).

Paladin: This guy helped me out and he's not even an instructor, so he should definitely should get a mention. Insanely funny guy, with a relaxed atmosphere and helped me to notice when IOIs are coming. I guess I had misconceptions and didn't notice when I was receiving IOIs and now I'm picking up on them more. In addition, he just pushed me into sets. Thanks man, I needed the encouragement!

Sets for the night: So many on the first night that I’m starting to forget. Opened people at the bar, in the corridor... so many. There were these American girls that I was ordered by Sheriff to ‘get blown out’ by being too nice. I couldn’t do it! I was being nice asking them interview questions, they were talking, getting bored but they just wouldn’t blow me out. Then fivepointzero and sheriff came across, I then isolated one, moved her to the bar and after time we rejoined her friends on the dance floor (I should have pulled the trigger!). They weren’t the hottest set but we had 7 girls around us, and women were orbiting us to join our group. Talk about pre-selection working... I approached a single set at the end of the night, started chatting... her friend comes up and starts screaming "What the fuck. Get the fuck away!!!" I was like... “Where’s her off button?” Damn, that was good and her friend was like “No, no, no. He’s a cool guy. Let him stay.” Seriously, girls want guys to approach in a good way. The amount of times I heard, “It’s refreshing to have a cool conversation with a guy. Most of the other guys are really creepy” (oh yeah, other PUA training courses were there that night...)

I even opened a girl at a bus stop on the way back home and got into comfort . Damn cool. I need to pull the trigger more.

As you can guess from the way my typing is a little irregular now, I had a fantastic time, even remembering it and it just makes me want to go sarging now. Amazing.

    2nd Seminar

The 2nd Seminar is the stuff I hadn’t read as much or practised. Firstly we debriefed and looked at what went well and what didn’t and how to work on it. Soul did a really great job of explaining storytelling and his really ‘touching’ Thailand story that he tells girls I thought it was really useful to be able to write stories, read them out and get improvements. Then there was more on cold reading, roleplaying and qualification (which I needed to do more of). Obviously, I could go on for hours but it gave you more than enough to remember for the evening. Really great stuff and a lot to remember.

    2nd Night Infield

Rokker : I worked with Rokker throughout the night which was great. He has such a cool vibe but he is so attentive too. He helped me get over the AA I was having initially, pushed me into a few sets and I plowed. The thing I really respected was that while he was well in comfort with another girl, my girl left so he came over, left his girl on her own and chatted to me for 5 mins. The girl just waited for him and he gave feedback to me. It was damn cool and when he went back the girl seemed like she was even more into him then when he left.

Sheriff : Throughout both nights Sheriff was coming and giving advice on what to do next. His tasks were outside my comfort zone and that’s what you need and I gave it a go. Really useful advice and he seems to have great insight on what you should do to push your boundaries .

Sets: Less sets than 1st night but more time in them. Went really well with 3 sets, had a k-close and have now arranged day2 for tomorrow. It was really cool, as I managed to do it on my own from a cold approach.

    3rd Seminar

This covered seduction and other specific stuff from day game , lovesystems .com/audio/vol-26-direct-game-soul -badboy -cortez" target="_blank" class="gal">direct game to social group game by Mr M . Really quite technical and I was really into it and could have continued for hours more. I would like to have heard a little bit on Day2s and managing expectations but I understand there’s only so much time available.

    Other Guys

Everyone else who helped out and the other students made the whole experience even better. Will definitely meet up with the other students and make sure we put what we were taught into practise.

    Conclusion

Great course and the infields made it totally worthwhile. It really has made me think about my identity (damn you Rokker ) and so it goes beyond just pickup. I’m now wondering what job I want to do and what I want to do with my life (managed to turn that into an opener while in a park My mate who was with me was stunned). At the same time, having the concept that I’m improving with girls is a great feeling and knowing and seeing that it can be learnt is eye-opening .

If it’s important enough to you then do not hesitate to go for it. You'll learn soo much more than half-heartedly trying it on your own. Try to learn the openers and routines off by heart before coming as it makes opening groups so much easier as you can then focus on everything else! (And there is a LOT!)

I'm going to need to save more money as I'm definitely going to go to another bootcamp /seminar /1-1 in the future , after I practise what I've learnt this time around.

    Damn cool weekend.
