Just got done with the 6/22 Los Angeles
bootcamp with
The Don as lead instructor and it was very impressive. The instructors were all great, and it doubly beneficial because they each had a completely different style to their game. Here's a breakdown of their individual styles:
The Don - The most natural of all the instructors, an
alpha male with great bantering and role-playing skills. A little older (early 30's) which was good because he had a ton of real world experience to add to the theoretical stuff that he talked about during the day. Every question he had an answer for, and he seemed especially knowledgeable about
relationship management. Real easy to
wing with as well, I have a day 2 with a girl I gamed with him the second night.
Dahunter - A real low-key guy, someone you might initially discount as a non-threat but who then makes out with your girl before you know what hit you. Seemed to use a good combination of banter and qualifying in his game. Real quick-witted too, had a line for every shit-test a girl through at him. Also, he definitely looked the most like a
PUA of all the instructors, which doesn't hurt.
Nick (not sure his MM name) - Super high-energy style, nothing like
The Don or
Dahunter. Used a lot of bantering in his game, and he was especially good at bantering with multiple girls at once and completely stealing the attention of the group. Didn't get a chance a to
wing with him, but he seemed to have the most success of all the instructors doing the 2 nights out.
Pulse - Real low-key style like
Dahunter, and he looked more like a surfer than a
PUA, but wow was his game efficient. Had an ability to quickly stack routines and stories together in a way that immediately got the girls' attention and left no holes in his game. Very impressive.
The group of students was really diverse as well. I assumed most guys would have
approach anxiety as their biggest sticking point, but that wasn't the case. One guy was super aggressive and had zero fear of
approaching, but had a tendency to push too far with the girls and offend. A different guy had trouble reading girls and needing help picking out
IOI's. Another guy had been with over 300 girls (he's a successful entrepreneur) but still couldn't muster up the courage to approach. A couple other guys needed help with all areas of their game, and another guy seemed to be an expert
PUA already, I'm not sure why he was even in the class.
The venues were very contrasting and chosen well by the instructors. The first night we went to a loud, frat-party type place with tons of girls, definitely a good spot to work on
opening numerous sets and getting over
approach anxiety. The second night we went to a more exclusive, table-service only Hollywood lounge. All the sets were already isolated and gave us immediate social proof just by being there, so it was a great place to work on routines and
comfort building.
All in all a great weekend. My game improved a ton, and I have two Day 2's set up as a result (and could have had more but I didn't follow up on all my number closes). The only small complaint I had was that at times it seemed that some of the co-instructors were more into gaming their own sets than helping out the students, but this was usually at the end of the night when students were already in sets, so it didn't really matter. A great weekend overall, definitely worth the 2 grand. And I even met Suge Knight! He and his posse rolled into our venue the second night, which was definitely one of the highlights of the weekend.
