I just finished the New York
boot camp with
Future.
Fader was our approach instructor at night. I'll be to the point because there are lots of reviews about this
BC to read (they all give it HUGE PROPS and I WHOLE-HEARTEDLY agree with them). I CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS COURSE ENOUGH. It was easily the best money I've spent in a long time.
Future's ability to educate students is amazing. His daytime
seminar was not only loaded with outstanding content, but he presents it in a manner that really helps students retain information. This guy is positive, brilliant, and funny as hell-- he is genuinely entertaining to listen to. I know we're supposed to write about things that can be improved, but I've tried to think of anything that could be changed, and I really can't think of much worth mentioning. One of the guys in my group suggested videos to demonstrate techniques/etc. Would this help? Maybe, it seems like a good idea. But it's not a big deal either way. I know others have thought a new syllabus would be helpful so not as much writing would be necessary, but we were able to cover all the material and have plenty of time to discuss it. I think writing the routines and concepts down also adds another layer to the internalization process.
As for the in-field (night) training- These may very well have been two of the best nights out I've had since moving to NYC two years ago. You WILL NOT ever have this much fun learning. The demonstrations by
Future were insane. The guy generates
attraction in seconds. The girls end up in some emotional trance. His in-field coaching was right on target. He gave great critiques on what to change and kept reinforcing the points you had to improve. I spent a lot of my time with
Fader, our approach instructor. This guy is AWESOME. When he was demonstrating, he'd hold court with 5 unbelievably hot women. I was amazed how he could watch me open sets, whether next to me, or from across the venue, diagnose exactly what I was doing wrong, and show me how to correct it immediately. As soon as I started following his directions, things started to improve (fast). His energy level was truly amazing. As an aside, both
Future and
Fader are a blast to hang out with. I think when you are learning this stuff from people that you not only really respect, but really like, learning is not only easier and more fun, but WAY more high yield.
I think another factor that made our
BC even better was the diverse group of guys we had. All of them were interesting and fun to hang out with...GREAT guys. I think we all bonded over that weekend. (cool...other MM wings...another selling point).
Before starting this
boot camp, I strongly recommend reading
the Mystery Method Handbook as well as
Magic Bullets. I also recommend burying your
approach anxiety before coming to
BC. If you don't, it will be drilled out of you quickly, but you are just wasting valuable
BC time on silly stuff that you can conquer on your own beforehand. I looked into other
workshops before taking this one and I'm very glad I decided on MM. I plan on taking the
Breakthrough Comfort soon as well (either in Chicago or New York). DON'T TAKE ANY
BOOTCAMP OTHER THAN MM. Trust me on this. Enough said.
Future and
Fader...Thanks a million; you guys are the best(note the semi-colin).
