Jeremy Soul Day Game Workshop - Sydney, December 2010.

I would like to start this review by giving a little background about myself. For those who attended the workshop with me, I was the asian guy that does PR... and yes I did a lot of approaches Also a side note **If an admin reads this would it be possible to change my handle to 'Regrett' or if someone could direct me to an admin who will change it for me, that would be much appreciated. This will be a fairly long review.

*Also I would be interested to know if anyone had any recommended books or audio for goal setting.

So to start off, I have been doing pickup for close to two years, most of that time I have been doing day game. I was introduced to day game when sinn came over to sydney and did a recording. I followed his structure, but was completely hooked on the idea of going direct, being honest and to meet someone and hopefully get some form of close. I had immense hope when I first got into this, underestimating how difficult it would be and like Soul explained this journey is not going to be easy, but seriously the rewards are far greater. I have been doing this for close to 1 and half years, but there have been a few tweaks that have dramatically changed my results. Prior to taking the workshop, getting dates have been random and have been achieved from sheer volume, an estimate of doing about 1000-2000 approaches would a conservative estimate. I was dedicated even when it got difficult, my biggest asset was my stubborness, thinking it was me not the material and never challenging it. I was like NEXT and next after every set, never really analyzing. I did that for about 3/4 of a year and then I started reading material.

However post workshop, I can feel the changes like I know results are happening and in fact they are. Dates are coming more consistently, although I have an issue with flaking, I know dates are going to come. A good example was yesterday, I was out with a couple of guys and I was booked up on dates over the next few days, now I can tell some of them will flake but some of them seem pretty solid. My results have literally exponentially increased, prior to the workshop, dates would come unexpectedly and will be sprinkled every blue moon. I have confidence in myself to know that I could almost and I must say almost certainly get a date from a session.

Now what do I attribute my new found success? Soul takes away many misconceptions, like other gurus have been telling to do this and do that, most of it might be helpful, however there are specific tweaks that he teaches that you would have never thought of, I certainly didnt that completely changed the way you approached women. Most of it was the delivery, some of the little tweaks in delivery goes against what everyone says, but you know what??? It works! massive improvement!

I must warn guys and Soul will warn you too, this isn't the magic pill, it will be hardwork but seriously, if it is that easy, you wouldn't value it as much. Nothing worth doing is ever that easy. Learning from Soul will certainly take so much time off your learning curve. I went out solo for almost a year and half. It wasnt untill a couple of months back when I got a wing, and he improved so much quicker than me because he had guidance.

Post workshop I have forced myself to go out, I have a blister on a couple of my toes now, I developed it after the first day of workshop however I have been going out everyday since. This period is crucial, cementing the ideas into your head. I could have easily said, Ive done enough approaches for the week, but I pushed myself to continuously go out, practice and cement all the concepts and techniques that I have learnt. Learning this takes dedication but you know what, results are inevitable on the condition that you correct mistakes and persevere through your 'dips'. Jeremy will provide you the skills and knowledge that you need to succeed, rest assured. I have found from reading and watching and listening to so much material that there is misguided information or information that is kind of complete but require tweaking.

For me tweaking in the delivery made an exponential amount of difference. The direct opener sets up the rest of the conversation, so it is really important that you get it right. You could watch Soul deliver the opener and how he engages in conversation but you most likely would not have picked up what he is doing. He slowed everything down for us in slowwww motion - which, yes it looked weird. But it also nailed in what we were supposed to do. A few subtle tweaks that changed the whole vibe, I still cant get over how much I love his breakdown!!

Improvements could be made with more coaches, but aside from that it was really awesome!

Just like to thank other instructors before I end this review.

Jeremy: I cant thank you enough for this workshop! I can see the dedication that you put in it, particularly loved your slow mo demo, the demo on flirting in the middle of street was a little uncomfortable (I think you enjoyed making me that uncomfortable) I could definitely feel it. Now I understand how you do it, the seductiveness that I have seen in those videos, I was trying to break it down, could never quite put my finger on it, but now I know how you do it. You have an amazing ability to break it down, even the most subtle of movements. It was amazing how you noticed the girl was licking her lips, so small, so quick! Incredibly impressed! Definitely need to stay in touch. Your confidence and constant encouragement in me is best described as awesome! It boosted my confidence! You were very humble and of course have an excellent taste in women, but you gotta love the younger fresh legs It was uncanny how we would always seem to spot the same women, like almost at the same time too!

Elate: Dude thanks heaps. I was struggling on the 2nd day, and you pointed out exactly what I was doing wrong, after I tweaked my delivery, it was business as usual. That was incredibly useful, it helped me realise that I still had bad habits that would creep into my approaches even though my first day went so well. I now know what to watch out for when my approaches dont got as well. Thanks!

Gamerunner: OMG! I think it was you that made that insanely loud noise on the 1st day when we were grabbing food in front of those girls! It makes an awesome story! Didnt get a chance to work with you much but gosh your lifestyle is so impressive! I am now always working pr into my conversations, I'm going to make it a mastery topic.

Jimni: You provided awesome feedback on the 2nd day, a few common sense things that I didnt do, corrected me back with how I opened two sets, even after that scare I had on the first day... I loved your attitude, and cemented in my head that I need to work hard and knuckle down after workshop which is what I will be doing.

Zac: Although I didnt work with you as much, but it was cool hearing about your story and it was extremely cool to find out that you were around the same age, actually same age I think, but omg! It was funny how you went for that blonde girl just before dinner, whilst me and (cant say your name but poker guy) hit did a two set ahaha! Gotta love the scarily big boyfriends! Definitely need to hit up the beautiful streets of sydney! Not kidding about that!

To everyone else that attended the workshop, sorry about not remembering names! This was an awesome experience, workhard at it. Even though I have a blister on my toes, tired and have dates filled up, I am still going out. Seriously guys, I am a slow learner, I have been all my life, however I was given the gift of being incredibly stubborn (when I want to be). I want to make this work, I want to achieve the lifestyle I want and know I deserve. HEll! I will work damn hard for it! At the end of the day I know it will happen so just knuckle down.

To reiterate my point, this workshop will not give you magical super powers, that's insane. It will give you the skills, mindsets and most importantly mentors. I can see how big of an impact a mentor had an impact on me, my wing has dramatically improved and attributes most of it to me guiding him and pushing him, however he is stubborn and dedicated like me which makes a great combo.

The seminar portion provides you with the skills, but the infield provides you in developing your confidence, calibration and intuition. The infield really cements what you have learnt. This intuition is not strictly limitted to day game per se. I was walking home after workshop, dark, tired, could think of a million excuses not to approach, and yes it was dark. Two girls who I later found out lived two streets away walked down a very quiet street. Instead of doing the standard two set approach and tapping on them, I knew there was too great of a distance I had to cover before reaching them so running up to them to catch up was out of the question as they were already walking quite briskly. I closed as much gap as I could before projecting excuse me with an authoritative voice which stopped them and closed the massive gap by delivering the rest of the opener slowly as I was moving towards them. The girls responded very positively and it went really well from there.

This situation was taught nor demonstrated on workshop, this intuition was the result of integrating the teachings of soul, the constant readjustments made during the infield, social intelligence and intuition. My attitude during workshop was I will approach anything, do anything and be completely open minded. I constantly pushed myself into sets. I didnt wait for instructors to push me in. I went in like a sponge, eager to absorb as much knowledge as I could. And then USING it, practicing right away and internalizing it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop, still cant believe how big of the difference a few extremely subtle tweaks can make to my results! See you guys all out there!

Thanks! What would my next few steps be, working towards becoming a day game intern? Am I far from that? And then working towards an instructor? Will definitely keep you posted on everything.

I attended Soul's day game workshop about a month ago and have left a bit of time for everything to sink in and hopefully give guys that are considering attending a bit of an idea of what you may experience a few weeks down the track after coming off such a high - it's one weekend that I will truly never forget. I know that sounds a bit cliché but seriously, I don't know how else to say I had a fucking awesome weekend!

I had previously attended a Bootcamp about 7 months ago when I had absolutely zero game and suffice to say I have come a long way since then but I was still having big issues with my AA during day game.

My expectations/goals for the weekend were to have all the body language issues I was having sorted out, learn a way to cope with my AA, have Soul and the other instructors look at my storytelling skills, mainly in relation to my mastery topics, and pick out areas that could be improved and finally, try to establish my own identity a bit more to make myself more attractive to girls that were 'my type'.

As I had already done a bootcamp I was familiar with a lot of the theory but it was very beneficial to refresh on the fundamentals, as well as understand those subtle differences between day and night game. For me, the best part about the seminar on the first day was the opportunity to practice approaching Soul and getting instantly critiqued on everything I said and did - that stuff was gold. The second best part was getting opened by Soul himself honestly though, to see (and feel) an example of a perfect approach gave me that mental image of what I should try to emulate every approach I make.

The seminar finished and we had about an hour to have lunch and get from the classroom to where we would meet the other approach coaches for the main event - the in-field session. In my previous life before the weekend this would have been a 10-15 minute walk. Not when your with Soul. It took us over an hour - he was pointing out sets all over the place, literally every minute saying 'who's going to approach that girl?'

To be honest I was really starting to doubt myself at this stage, as I was really nervous and was being a pussy by saying no to every opportunity. I had no problem going direct in a club yet here I was without so many of those obstacles at night and I was basically frozen to the spot. I saw a few of the other guys getting stuck in straight away, and it was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've been through. I just thought about the money I'd spent and how shit it felt to be in this sort of mood, so let out a very audible 'fuck it' and just went for it. First set I got blown-out but after that it was like the weight had finally lifted and there was no turning back from there.

When we eventually arrived, there were 5 instructors to 7 students so, a pretty awesome ratio if you ask me! I was paired with one of the approach coaches for the first few hours, then worked with Soul for the remainder of the day. I've talked more in detail about the approach coaches below but it's pretty clear all these guys have their shit together when it comes to game.

All of us (the students) were asked if we wanted to grab dinner with a few of them on the Saturday and Sunday and just hearing their amusing/dodgy stories and knowing they were once at the same point in the 'pick-up journey' was a great motivator for me. I have nothing but respect and admiration for all of them.

At the end of the day I was pretty mentally drained, we did a heap of walking but I wasn't in the pattern of doing regular daytime approaches, so it took a lot of energy to build myself up for every approach. I was actually happy to be feeling that way as it was my body telling me I had put 100% effort into the day, pretty similar to coming off the sporting field after a big game and feeling absolutely stuffed I guess.

With everyone refreshed, the seminar on day 2 started with a de-brief of everyone's progress from the previous day. It was great to share stories with the other guys as well as share our frustrations. I remember just chatting to one of the guys and saying how I had what I thought was the most solid number that I got on the Saturday - and she turned out flaking on me. He knew exactly what I meant and he told me what had happened to him when he was in the exact same situation.

We also did a few exercises surrounding our mastery topics as well as learning how to lightly tease and the right way to go about it. This was all great stuff and I know time is pretty tight, but if there was anything that could make the seminar better I think if you try to incorporate more of those little exercises where the students are more directly involved with what your demonstrating, that could be beneficial. Even pairing up and role playing the exercises as if we were in set?

Day 2 in field started off the same way day 1 had, although Soul didn't push us as hard whilst on our way to meet the other instructors this time - we were all a bit more proactive in finding sets on our own and it was great to see even a master like Soul able to get excited for us, even if it was a seemingly small step in our progress. That enthusiasm really rubs off -especially in the early stages of learning.

Even my warm-up sets I was staying in longer, with the volume of approaches I had made the day before I was already starting to internalise a few subtle body language changes that I had been told to adjust. The conversation side of things was also flowing smoother as well.

I didn't approach as many sets as day 1 but still managed to hook more, as I know all of us did. It's hard to make major adjustments whilst you're out in field, so after every set I was letting the instructors know how the interaction went, they would say what the good and bad aspects were from what they observed, and then I would try for the next few sets to work on one of those things. Qualifying earlier, or more kino for example. I was still getting blow-outs all this time, so everything wasn't magically coming together by the end of the day. This just served as a reminder of how much progress I would have to make after the weekend.

Gamerunner - was in-field with you nearly all of the first day and I attribute the fact that I was able to control my AA so well to your relaxed attitude. What I found most valuable was your 'process not the outcome' approach - there was a heap of stuff that I needed to learn, especially on the first day and rather than just pushing me into another set straight away, the small de-brief sessions we had after each set were great as it helped me focus on how I was going to lead the next interaction rather than worrying about a previous blow-out or letting the nerves build up to the next approach.

Zac - unfortunately didn't get to game with you, although I did get a chance to ask you some questions about my mastery topics and man, the way you were able to drill down to the emotional level straight away and provide the tweaks to my storytelling that I was really after, awsome!

Elate - spent a lot of the second day with you and what I loved most about working with you was your honest approach to problems I was having, or any questions would ask. I remember when I saw an absolute glamour walking towards a bus stop, then sit down, I said "nah, she's waiting for her bus, I'll keep looking". The response I got was, "well yeah, you're right but I guess there's like a 0% chance of success with her if you look at it like that". Was exactly what I needed to hear! Now I think about that every time I don't feel like approaching.

Jimni - man, you just have a knack for bringing out the best in people. Unfortunately didn't get to go in set with you but somehow you got me to chase down and open a chick that was jogging, got blown out haha but we had a good laugh about it after. Stuff like that was great for my confidence/inner game knowing I was capable of taking those sorts of chances.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has taken a bootcamp and is struggling to bring their day game skills up to the same level as night game. The major advantage about getting good with day game is the pressure it takes off your night game. I'm having so much more fun when I'm out at clubs now due to the fact I might have already done an hour or two of sarging earlier in the day, so a) i'm going in relatively warm already and b) I'm more relaxed about everything (translation...I have confidence levels approaching Kenny Powers. If you don't know who that is, he is the main character of a TV show called Eastbound and Down, one that Soul recommended we watch as an example of legendary inner game).

If you are completely new to day game I would still recommend the workshop. However, it's a good idea to have tried a few direct approaches (day or night) and be familiar with some of the theory behind daytime interactions. All the other students in the workshop had done a number of approaches already and it was without a doubt to their benefit. I purchased Soul's Daytime Dating book beforehand which certainly isn't essential but after reading it I made sure I had practiced telling a few stories about my 3 mastery topics using the framework Soul had outlined in his book. This meant the instructors could get down to tweaking them straight away.

Final accolades must go to the man himself. Jeremy Soul really is a cocktail of awesome. He has charisma, enthusiasm and an amazing ability to keep a positive attitude regardless of the situation. But below all that you can't ignore the overwhelming desire that this guy has to succeed. He makes no bones about the effort he's had to put in or the shit tonne of hard work and heartbreak that inevitably arose along the way, but it was impossible for that mindset for success not to rub off on me.

I saw a quote the other day, it read "Tell me something. And I will forget. Show me something and I can remember. Involve me. And I will understand" and I thought of Soul straight away. Everything about his teaching philosophy is captured in this quote. Now, I'm not saying I wasn't listening to him! But having this guy wing you and even having him want you to wing with him - that's like being an aspiring entrepreneur and having someone like Donald Trump tap you on the shoulder and ask you to sit-in and participate in an important business deal he is trying to close. Fucking priceless.

Regrett touched on this in his review but I'll mention it again - taking a day game workshop or a bootcamp won't solve all the problems you have with meeting attractive women. One of the questions I asked myself on the first day when I was acting like such a pussy was "Even if I make this first approach, what then? Am I seriously going to keep going and commit to this?" It wasn't a definite yes at that stage but I'd at least given myself this opportunity, so may as well take the plunge and see what I'm really made of!

A month down the track and I'm still getting out there. I've had a few dates flake on me but importantly, I'm just as motivated as I was at the end of the workshop. I'm now at a stage where, if I see a beautiful girl walking down the street and walk straight past her, the regret at lost opportunity and the 'what if's' build up in my head so quickly. I've also got Elate on one side of my head going "zero percent chance man, zero percent..." as well as this image of Soul looking at me really disappointed and mouthing "what the fuck man?" on the other side. Suffice to say I have now developed a need to approach!

All in all, a fantastic weekend and thanks also to all the other guys I did the workshop with, everyone was really easy to get along with and I look forward to sarging with you soon!

Wow... amazing detail here man, much appreciated! Gonna use one of your quotes in my new signature

Haha yeah, that was a fun dinner man. Do you remember that girl that Regrett opened, unintentionally having followed us to every restaurant we went to that evening? Soooo funny.

I saw a few of the other guys getting stuck in straight away, and it was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've been through. I just thought about the money I'd spent and how shit it felt to be in this sort of mood, so let out a very audible 'fuck it' and just went for it. That's what I call popping your cherry, son!

Good work man. I look forward to hearing updates from you in the future.

Jeremy Soul Day Game Workshop - Sydney, December 2010

First, I would like to say yes Jeremy, you were right when you said that your seminars would be life changing. I this found out on the second day of the seminar when you pointed out a girl at which I approached and then went on an instant date and left the seminar early. After talking and walking around we went to a restaurant close to my hotel after the meal we went to the lobby of the hotel then eventually up to my room at 11pm. I then walked her to the bus the next morning needless to say that I now know same day lays are possible. (Even tho, she doesn’t drink alcohol)

I feel that what also helped was that I had a completely free day/night and perfect logistics (restaurant opposite the hotel where I was staying) I still remain in contact with her and she is keen to catch up again.

Now back in my home town of Adelaide, South Australia continuing my day game I found the women here extremely friendly in comparison to Sydney. I am now seeing four women in Adelaide two of which I have been seeing before the seminar and two from day game.

My only regret about taking the day game seminar is that I didn’t take it sooner. In the seminar, you will be given step-by-step instructions from speech, delivery, body language and instant feedback from the instructors after every approach to rapidly improve your technique/game.

If you are reading this and contemplating taking the day game seminar I am not saying that you too will pull a same day lay during the seminar, but don’t rule it out.
