I cannot find enough superlatives to describe the tremendous effort and achievements of Braddock and his fellow instructors and approach coaches at this bootcamp .
Hi, I'm LoveDoc. My only previous PUA bootcamp (from any company) was from Lovesystems and also with Braddock (and Daxx and Helicase ) in Las Vegas in June, 2009. (Read my review on page 4 of this review blog).
WARNING: this review is LONG. Dyslexic people, turn back now!
What a remarkable and ambitious advance Braddock has made since that camp held 9 months ago! Hell, this was a completely different camp; an overhaul by a creative, driven genius determined to do better......all the fucking time!
Let's start with an easy metric comparison: We had SIX instructors in New York, double the number in Vegas, and FOUR approach coaches (none in Vegas). Not taking anything away from the superb talents of Daxx and Helicase ; all the instructors in New York were outstanding experts in various specialties of Game; yet at the same time all masters of overall Game! What attention we all got in the field! Amazing!
The approach coaches were all wonderful, too; supportive team players with an excellent grasp of Game and mesmerizing to watch as they took the phrases and concepts from Magic Bullets and the Routines Manuals and made them real, natural and alive with a set of equally-mesmerized HB8s and 9s!
Braddock was on fire! I thought his energy level unbelievable in Vegas but he was hopped up on emotional steroids in New York! (At least in part due to his recent attendance at a Tony Robbins seminar in Orlando). He brings unbridled passion and force to the instruction of Game. You cannot do better than to be taught by him.
Braddock is restless and seeks to improve constantly. One major change from Vegas was the introduction of exercises, breaking from the form of pure didactic instruction and making the trainees think (ouch!) about how to handle different scenarios. We would break off into groups (3 instructors/approach coaches and 3-5 students) and be taught and confronted by the instructors on how to deal with different pick-up challenges. Kinda' like high school or college: didactic instruction, exercises, then real practice.
The New York venue for in-field training was utterly ideal (out of respect for LoveSystems policy to keep their choice venues a secret, I will not name it). In Vegas, the clubs, although target-rich with hot babes, were too noisy to run much of the Emotional Progression component of the Triad until you already isolated a bit. At this New York venue, conversation was easy; the volume was down enough to be able to be heard by the sets. Lots of nooks and cranies for isolation. Much better for practice.
In Vegas, as the evening and night progressed, the venue was more and more flooded and crowded with a lot of guys, making approach harder. In New York, free-standing sets of HB8s and HB9s still persist late into the night in accessible places where they can actually hear you!
Best of all, with more instructors, in-field observation and critique was much, much better in New York. Someone could always see what a student was up to (In Vegas, Braddock , Helicase and Daxx had to cover 8 students over 22,000 square feet at a particular noisy nightclub on the Strip!)
Thanks to the improved instructor-student ratio winging was much better in New York than Vegas.(I was critical of this in my Vegas review). Both students and instructors winged for each other, with some discussion of wing procedure before going in (you can read about the theory of winging in Magic Bullets or get it from Audio #21).
I would like to see at least, bare minimum, a course outline handed-out AT TIME OF REGISTRATION for the attendees. Better still, hand-out "Magic Bullets " to read before attendance, with margins for in-class notes. Some students didn't know or remember some of the terminology and concepts and we would all be a little better prepared if we could go over the material first.
What did I learn most from BOTH bootcamps ? Opinion openers SUCK! If a venue has ANY kind of energy these fall completely flat and the girls look at you like you are an idiot! Style, why did you invent this turkey and how did YOU make it work??? Go direct in high-energy environments!
Many thanks and accolades to the team who guided us though this process. The Instructors: BigBusiness (humor expert and alpha male +++, I NEED to attend your humor seminar to get those tools), Carbeau (THE Daytime expert this side of the pond; an intelligent sophisticated Oxford ex-pat Brit who showed impressive grace under pressure on Saturday night as we bonded a bit over a crazy, shared experience with...guess what...girls!, I hope to learn Day Game from him someday), Calabrese (you rock, guy!), Pendrixx (Jesus, if I wasn't perfectly straight, I'd push Miss New Hampshire off of you and fuck you myself! Good-looking guy), Dubbsy (mature and knowledgeable of Game beyond his years and an enthusiastic, sincere teacher. I predict great things!).
The approach coaches: Many thanks for the great support I received from Intrigue (you're fabulous, you Adonis ! Special thanks to you for your help) and Jesse; fantastic, genuine guys who care about the student to the nth degree. You guys were great and will be instructors some day soon. You too Dallas (and that other approach coach who I never was introduced to or worked with. But thanks anyways!)
But I reserve the highest praise for Braddock . It could not have been easy organizing a bootcamp of this high caliber. His passion and intelligence and enthusiasm were super-nova for 3 days. It's really, really, really hard to compress all of Game theory into 15 hrs of seminar time; but Braddock demands it. You were phenomenal, guy! What more can I say.
And many thanks to my fellow students, who sarged and winged with me, who did the exercises with me and shared their experiences . All the best in Game.
Sincerely, LoveDoc.
