Love Systems Miniconference - Sydney, December 2009 (with 5.0 , Jeremy Soul & Dubbsy)

OK, fuck it's late, but I wanted to get this out while it was fresh in my mind and I'd started using what I'd learned.

For anyone who was there, I was the guy with the half lost voice up the front Soul tried to seduce. I was feeling pretty unwell by the end of the night, so bolted and didn't grab anyone's details. If you were there and are perusing day game drop me a line.

To put things in context I'm comfortable opening direct in day game , have zero club experience, some experience in high energy bars and basically reinvented myself three weeks ago.

First up, the whole thing was targeted at a general range of skill levels, from how to approach through to simple philosophies for relationship management . Minimal writing material was supplied. A lot of the really juicy material came out in the questions people asked, although a lot of time was also wasted with a couple of questions that went in circles. I was surprised that most of the students I talked to did the bulk of their pickups in clubs, and seemed a little immature (If you think I mean you, that means I don't).

Soul on day game
Basic conversational strategy and tactics were covered well, I've already put some of this to use and it's helped. Soul also went over some word for word phrases to help optimize the interaction.

Soul on sexual escalation
This was the gem of the night. I don't want to repeat praise, but Soul has this down perfectly. I was used as a teaching aid, and my initial "ok, watch all the timings and subtle movements" became "wait, what? Even without being attracted this guy has emotional power over me".

What was taught here has actually helped outside of dating. This is hard to explain, basically many of my world views are in line with Soul 's on this (basically the sexual gentleman ethic). But seeing how he presents them has helped me talk more openly which has, in the space of about 48 hours, established me as trusted authority on how to act amongst the girls in a couple of my social circles.

5.0 on Social Proof
Lots of what seemed to be good stuff on getting familiarity with staff, 'working the room' without being louche(French word for creepy, but broader) and some banter routines. I haven't used any of this yet, so can't say much more here.

Dubbsy on inner game
The usual stuff, but broken down well, damn well. Dubbsy had just flown into Australia, and so was jet lagged, which made him look like Donny Darko.

All three guys were awesome, and won the room. Watching this was basically a 'bonus' lesson in winning over guys.

My only criticism would be that there was a lot of redundancy in what was presented. But having said that, I'm used to fast moving lectures, so it's all good.

Was a great night, I was devastated I had work in the morning because I know a bunch of guys were headed to Cargo Bar afterwards.

The thing that stuck out as the number one piece of info for the night was how powerful the initiation of the day-game routine was (touch lightly, 'excuse me', pause and hold eye contact with 'intent')

I was blown away seeing it for real, the power it had, I felt even though it was across the room and it was being demonstrated on someone else. If it affected me like that, I can only imagine how powerful it would feel for a woman.

Another thing that should be obvious, but isn't, was 5.0 's bit on building real social proof at a club. Rather than hit every club in the city, just focus on one or two and build your status up slowly. Eventually your constructed social proof will nearly do your work for you!

Btw I was the guy up the front in the scarf, sorry I had to bail, if anyone wants to meet up in a small group and practice once a week or whatever, let me know!

I agree with both the guys above - even though it was a short conference there was some invaluable information to be learned from 5.0 , Soul and Dubbsy. 'Short-setting' was a concept that I wasn't familiar with beforehand, and the importance of ingratiating yourself with staff/security before rush-hour at a club was a gem.

Soul was the man, the pacing of his direct openers, his voice control and eye-contact were things that had to be seen in the flesh to fully grasp. It was also awesome to get an idea of the energy levels, confidence and posture from these guys - for me that stuff is far more important than any opinion opener or routine stack.

5.0 was well-good at conveying tips for club-game, and he also was good at stressing the importance of not worrying about other people - focus on the goal at hand.

Dubbsy was obviously jet-lagged but still managed to give a great talk on inner-game - given the short amount of time available he did an awesome job, and he was also very helpful in suggesting texts to read that would provide the finer details.

All in all - it was my first taste of the Lovesystems approach in person - and I would not hesitate to suggest that if you have the time you WILL IMPROVE so much faster doing a conference and seeing / hearing this stuff from the guys in the flesh. Kudos to the instructors - believe the hype - there's no magic pill but through hard-work, smart goal-setting and dedication, you can do this for real.

(oh yeah - we did hit Cargo afterwards, and a pretty tight 7.5 blonde scottish chick opened me the minute I walked in - just from exuding the kind of confidence you can pick up when you're fresh from a conference

I just moved temporarely to Sydney. I heard about the LS miniconference so I thought it could have been a good opportunity to meet other members of the community and learn something new from the Love Systems guys. At this stage of my game Day Game is not my number one priority but it is on my agenda too and one day I'll have to spend some time working on it as well... I remember Soul , considered as one of the best in Day Game , was also at the RMC conference last year in Amsterdam but for some reason I had missed his speech there... So why not?

I've been travelling a lot in the last 2 years and met a lot of PUAs and members of the local lairs around the world, Canada, California, Europe, Italy etc. I have to say that this event was very special and also particularly fruitful for me. Beside the useful practical tips and the theoretical background provided by 5.0 , Soul and Dubbsy, what struck me was the dedication and professionalism of these guys.

Dedication to the Game, because it was clear that they had invested years working on their skills both in the field and on books/internet. Something we always forget is that you really need to be focused and dedicated during the 3,4 years of training you need to become really good. This Game takes time and hard work. Watching the amazing nonverbal language of Soul while seducing us in the audience was really fascinating and inspiring. His delivery was so powerful that he could open with "Excuse-me" still conveying DHV... The eye contact and that pause were amazingly effective... In the end it reminded me the principle that it's not what you say it that makes the difference but how you say it.

Professionalism because all the guys were extremely clear in their speeches and answered all the questions from the audience. I personally asked several questions and all of them were answered and commented thoroughly. All the aspects listed in the program were covered in the time allocated. They are good sellers but they also sell a good product.

5.0 's talk on clubgame was also interesting. I particularly appreciated all his comments on the questions and on certain aspects of Souls and Dubbsy's speaches... It really showed experience and rock solid inner game which you must have if you want to be good and last in this Game...

Personally, meeting people like Soul , 5.0 and Dubbsy is truly enriching and I recommend to do the same if you have the chance when they come to a city near you.
