Thumbs up Braddock Bootcamp - Chicago, December 2009

This was my first BC and I loved it. I was really skeptical on spending $ 3000 but I would easily do it all over again. The knowledge that I have acquired would have taken me years to learn on my own. That being said you can’t just go to the BC and have good game you have to be willing to put in the work. You need to push yourself or you won’t learn.
I really like the way the BC was set up in a systematic order Day 1 was opening and transition, Day 2 Attraction , and Day 3 was qualification , closing, seduction and phone/text game . Going out at night was great everyone really pushes you to go and open sets. There is really good constructive criticism and positive feedback after every approach which helps you learn. Phone and text game was really helpful and I can’t wait for Braddock ’s phone and text game book to come out. Overall it was worth every penny and I have been recommending it to a lot of my friends. I just want to say thanks to Braddock , Helicase , Daxx , and Red Hammer all you guys really help take my game to the next level.

Thumbs up Braddock Bootcamp - Chicago, November 2009

My background is fairly standard, been in the community for a little over a year after a tough breakup, and devoted myself to getting better results with women. After fumbling around with "seduction " on my own for over a year and hitting snag after snag I decided to see if bootcamp could help me overcome some of the issues still lingering in my game. I had pretty high expectations going into the bootcamp , and I have to say that even with such high expectations I was blown away by the amount of material and knowledge presented in 3 short days and nights.

    Seminar -

The bootcamp was very well organized and presented by Braddock , Helicase , and Daxx . I did a fair bit of reading and forum trolling when I first started over a year ago, and thought that I pretty much knew all of the theory and material there was out there. After a couple of hours on the first day, it was pretty clear my understanding of "game" was extremely limited. Braddock presented new concepts in such a way that I can immediately see how its applicable to specific situations. I found the material much more useful that most of what i've read on my own in the past, and definitely a lot easier to understand.

The one main point that the instructors stressed over and over again is that reading and knowledge is useful, but there's no way it can replace in-field experience. Having a pro wing you in field can you help correct subtle things like body language , tonality, etc. that you can't get through just reading about it on a forum. The approach and tonality drills during seminar all helped a whole bunch, but its the real in-field experience that's going to make everything stick. Which brings us to the most enjoyable part of bootcamp (for me).

    In Field -

This was amazing... there's no other way to really describe it. I thought I was pretty good from having gone out and done this by myself 3 times a week for the last year, but seeing the instructors in action just blew me away. Having the instructors around was literally like having an instant feedback mechanism after almost every single set. You are correcting things in real time instead of after days or weeks of trial and error.

The instructors were all very attentive to the student's needs. The first night we venue changed 3 or 4 times (but not before opening every single set in there) just to find a location that worked for all the students despite varying skill level. Seeing Braddock , Daxx and Helicase in field was a phenomenal experience, these guys are fearless! They are quick to point out flaws in my approach and body language , and push me into sets when i'm choding around. Helicase and Braddock did some demos (Daxx had some as well but I was already off winging with other students) for us at the start of the night, and then we were pretty much cut loose and told to go open as many sets as we can.

Before each night we were told to write down 3 SPECIFIC measurable goals, having these really helped me track my progress over the night and throughout the weekend. My only regret is not having wingmen like these at my disposal on a regular basis.

    Overall -

Definitely an extremely worthwhile experience. I can't recommend it enough. Had I taken a bootcamp when I first started it might've shaved upwards of 6 months off my learning curve (pretty much every student opened close to 20-30 sets over 2 nights, I think I had 20 total my first 6 months) and saved me a lot of time going down wrong paths. I am definitely looking forward to taking Braddock 's social circle mastery program and thinking about taking Soul 's daygame program.

I took the boot camp 2 weekends ago. It has had a positive impact on my life. The boot camp has provided me a good foundation for pickup and I feel I am much further along than if I were to start practicing game on my own. The money is definitely worth it and the experience is something I will always remember.

First off, I had zero in-field experience prior to coming to the boot camp . I always had an interest in pick up and previously read magic bullets , but never actually had the courage to try any of the stuff out.

    Seminar
The lecture portions of the boot camp were packed with a lot of good info. Braddock and Daxx , who taught the majority of the lecture, kept the material interesting and interactive. There were only 5 students at our boot camp so you got a lot of attention and could always ask questions if you didn't understand something or wanted to explore a topic more deeply. We also did practice exercises and got feedback from instructors. This ended up being helpful later in-field.

    In-field
This is by far the most valuable part of the boot camp and it's also a lot of fun. There were 6 instructors (Braddock , Daxx , Helicase , Red Hammer, Esquire , and JS) and only 5 students. The instructors are always nearby and will give you with real time feedback. Plus they provide a great support system, which allows you to learn game in-field with greater confidence. I want to point out that the in-field experience from the boot camp was instrumental for me in overcoming a lot of my approach anxiety . If I did not take this boot camp , I would not have been able to start practicing game.

The first night of in-field is an awesome experience and went by like whirlwind for me. We went to three different venues of varying energy. I was pretty nervous at the start of the night, but warming up on a couple sets at the first venue calmed me down. We eventually moved to a higher energy location, that was packed with women. At this point we paired off with instructors. I spent the majority of the time with Helicase , who is pretty funny guy and is amazing at game. He was basically always nearby coaching me and picking out sets for me approach. When approach anxiety got the better of me, he got a bit tough and tried to get me to suck it up. He also did several demos for me, which were helpful and just interesting to watch. I also spent a fair amount of time with Braddock as well. Braddock is essentially the master at game, and he always has so much good stuff to teach you. He tends to stay at a central location observing everyone, and jumps in from one student to another. By the end of the first night, you end up opening a lot of sets- around 20ish. You really loose count after a while. It's pretty amazing how many women you can approach in a single night, and some of these women are incredibly attractive.

The second night is even better than the first. My approach anxiety was reduced significantly and I was pretty pumped starting of the night. For the second night, I opened less sets because each set was better quality and much longer in duration. For the first night, the sets I opened were short lived because I was much more nervous and I believe we had not yet learned much transitioning until day 2. Again, I probably spent the most time with Helicase and also Braddock again. I got a lot of good specific feedback on what I needed to work on regarding kino , body positioning and teasing . The instructors are really helpful in identifying your sticking points and helping you set goals towards overcoming them.

Overall, you meet a lot women in-field. The weirdest women I opened during the camp were a couple of drunken cougars dancing to miley cyrus. The hottest woman I opened was a stunning, tall blond girl, who I would never have the courage to talk to normally (and I opened her directly). The girl I was most attracted to was a cute nurse, who had a lot of shared hobbies and interests. The worse blowout I had was when I opened a girl directly and she gave me the coldest stare I have ever seen followed by a pretty violent back turn (actually this probably happened a few times, heh).

    Other students
The other students were all cool guys. There were no crazy people Plus, the boot camp is a like a shared experience, so everyone gets along really well. I've kept in touch with the other students.

    Instructors
All of the instructors are experienced and are really motivated towards teaching you. Everyone- Braddock , Daxx , Helicase , Red Hammer, Esquire , and JS helped me in some way. You will probably spend your time in-field with some more than others. I spent the most time with Helicase and Braddock . I seriously learned a lot from both these guys and am pretty thankful for their help. I also paired up with Esquire for a while the first night. He gave me some good pointers on my approaches, and I also saw him do a couple demos. JS and Esquire were also helpful in giving me general advice and motivating me to keep up my game in the long term.

I’m definitely glad I took this bootcamp . I mulled over whether or not I should for close to a year. Is it worth the money? Would I have the discipline/balls to keep going out after it was over? So far the answers to both questions are yes.

The in-field experience was the main reason I took the bootcamp . It was awesome. I spent a lot of time with Daxx . He’s a really cool guy and definitely not afraid to open sets. He had me trying a lot of different openers. It was a lot of fun and an experience I’ll never forget. Braddock had me open a two set by sitting down at their table and saying “Hey guys, sorry I’m late. What’d I miss?” One girl loved it, the other thought I was an idiot, haha. I never would have tried that anywhere else.

All of the instructors were good. You could tell they have spent a lot of time in field. Helicase gave us a great quote, “embrace the awkward”. It’s surprising how much that’s helped me right before I open a set. JS also helped me a lot the second night when I was having high approach anxiety . I started off the night with a string of blown sets. He gave me some tips that got me on track.

There is a wealth of information in the seminar . Braddock is a great presenter and he’s great at applying the theory to real life examples. There are so many little things (i.e. tonality) that you get in a live seminar that you can’t get reading a book. You can ask as many questions as you want. You act out sets with the other guys. The instructors are awesome. Just being around guys of this caliber will make you a better person.

The other students were all cool guys and we have been staying in touch and going out together. It’s really cool to be able to go out with a group of guys that have shared the bootcamp experience.

    Thanks guys.

Default God Damn! We just had a near-life experience, fellas.

I took the Chicago Bootcamp a few weeks back with Braddock and it was a game changing experience. I had just broken up with my girlfriend a few months back and I was pretty down and out. I found out about the community after reading "The Game " by Style and it got me interested in learning more. At first I was a bit apprehensive on taking the bootcamp because it is a big chunk of change but I found out there are somethings you can't learn from reading a book. I met most of my girlfriends through social circle in college and pretty much stuck in relationships for a very long time. I always had a hard time with approaching people because of my approach anxiety so I never really tried an approach. All that changed when I took the bootcamp .

    Day 1 - Seminar

The seminar portion was really insightful. Braddock had went over the Love Systems model but he put his own spin on it. Instead of using opinion openers he had preached a more natural approach. This was a different method from what I had read in The Game but this fell in line more with my personality. Braddock had gone over some of the different types of openers and we split up into groups and did some exercises. I was matched up with Esquire , JS and Helicase . The student and I were supposed to pretend that Helicase was a hot girl and we had some pretty good laughs trying to open 'HER' even though it was some dude. After I opened Helicase broke down my approach and told me what I was doing wrong, it was also helpful that we were standing right in front of a mirror so we could see ourselves open. The class got back together and each student did openers on Braddock and Daxx , again very hot girls. The instructors were watching the students open and critiquing their approaches. This was really helpful because if they saw something we were struggling with they let us know what we could do to fix it.

The first day went by pretty quick because of the exercises but it was invaluable to see what we were doing wrong before going in-field.

    Day 1 - In-Field

The first night we went to three different places. The first was a small VIP area in the basement of a restaurant. The place was pretty packed in the restaurant but the VIP area was smaller and more relaxed. I was having a hard time the first night because approach anxiety hit me like a ton of bricks. I had met up with the instructors and felt a ton better that they were there. The instructors all looked calm and were really positive, just being in their presence boosted up my confidence. I had spent some time with all the instructors at different points of the night. Braddock told me to open a six set by the bar and then he would buy me a drink. I opened a set and stuck in there for a bit. I could have stuck in there longer but I ejected and got my free drink. Thanks Braddock ! The other students opened sets in the venue and I ended up talking some of the bottle service girls.

As we were changing venues Braddock was checking up on each of the students to see how their night was going and we were all talking about our sets with the instructors. The second venue was much bigger than the first. It was a three level bar/club with different types of people on each floor. I had Esquire wing me in several sets ranging from a two set to a large mixed set group. He ended up helping me isolate one of my targets and get some comfort going. After ejecting we went back downstairs because the 2nd floor was getting packed. There we met up with Braddock , Daxx , Helicase and Red Hammer. I opened a three set behind me and one of the students winged. The whole time they were watching me and the student. I stuck in there for quite a while and I tried to go for the number close but I could not get it. I spoke to Red Hammer after and he said I was doing good, I told him I tried to go for the close and broke down what I didn't do right.

I was taking a break after all the opening and Helicase tells me to open a moving two set. They were walking across from us and I hesitated for a bit so Helicase pulls in one of the girls and her friend follows. He starts talking to her and I talk to her friend, all of a sudden I hear Helicase say "Your not wearing a bra are you?". Not sure what she says but not 10 seconds after he starts feeling her breasts to see if she was wearing a bra and she was completely fine with it! Man I was blown away by the demo, he didn't even talk to her for 5 minutes before going for boob.

The third place we went to was a bar area with several pool tables. I was feeling pretty burnt out toward the end of the night but Braddock told me to stick in there and I opened 2 or 3 sets with Braddock giving me some openers.

    Day 2 - Seminar

When the students walked in Braddock told the students to write down our lightbulb moments from the night before. I didn't realize that I had knew nothing about game until the night before. We had spent most of the day on attraction and how to create it. We did some exercises with taking statements and trying to create a tease from it which was helpful for students who had a hard time teasing . Each of the students also sat with an instructor to go over our best set of the night.

    Day 2 - In-Field

The instructors took us to a more upscale place and we got there pretty early. We were waiting till more people showed up so the students were opening the sets that were available. Throughout the night I got advice from Braddock , Daxx and Helicase on the sets I had just finished. It was helpful to hear some of the things that I needed to work on and I was able to implement some of them that night. The best set of the night had to be this three set of teachers. Two of the girls were total 9's and they were really cool too! I would have never have had the confidence to open these types of girls before the bootcamp . I stuck in set for a while and had one of the students wing me. I randomly had mentioned something about one of the girls rings and they said yeah it's like Captain Planet. I was impressed and asked them if they knew the theme song to Captain Planet. It was hilarious because the three of us were singing the Captain Planet song at the bar.

We bounced to the same venue where we ended the night before. I received some help from Braddock , Daxx and JLS. I got some good advice from JLS on opening mixed sets and tried to open a few. I was feeling pretty tired because I didn't get any sleep the night before so I just went crazy and tried to get blown out of sets for fun. It was pretty interesting to get blown out but it was a good learning experience.

    Day 3 - Seminar

Day three went by pretty quick, we went over the rest of the model and some advanced material with phone/text game , one of Braddock 's specialties. Daxx went over qualification while Helicase went over Sexual Hoops. Toward the end of the day Braddock told us each what we needed to work on to get more advanced in game, it was good to see where each of the students were at because we were all struggling with different things.

    Instructors

    * Braddock - GREAT teacher, he taught natural game and broke it down so well that even a noob could get it. The exercises he made us do really helped me throughout the bootcamp and I still continue do to them and No I don't hit on guys like they are hot chicks. He checked up on every student after every new venue to make sure we were doing ok and we were not in a negative state.
    * Helicase - freaking hilarious guy. Shows great demos and great stories man. Love the one about the origin of your name.
    * Daxx - very cool brit, he basically stood there and girls gravitated toward him. This was even after some of the instructors told this one cougar he was gay. Oozed confidence.
    * JLS - fun guy to be around, really keeps the energy of the group up. I still go out with this guy today and he is mad connected in the bar/club scene.
    * Esquire - this guy helped me out in winging many of my sets. he is freaking pimp, didn't see him get blown out once.
    * Red Hammer - down to earth guy. Really helped me out with advice after I finished up some sets. Enjoy that new Android man.

    Students

I met some really cool people at Bootcamp and the students and I will share a tight bond in going through this test together. Really cool guys ranging in different ages and ability. Some had read up on game while others it was their first taste of it. I still keep in contact and sarge with some of them almost every weekend.

    Venues

It was helpful to see different places throughout the night. You could get totally blown out in one venue and use the same line in another and it would open. I got to see where I shined the most and see what types of places where I have the most trouble. If we would have stuck to one venue and I kept getting blown out I would have had a terrible night but it was a good mix of venues.

    Exercises

The opening exercises on the first day were real fun. We got to correct some things that would have been hard to fix in field. It was also helpful to go over some of our best sets with the instructors to find out what we had did right and what we had did wrong.

    Wrap Up

This was a invaluable learning experience. Even though the cost was great it was totally worth it. I opened a ton of sets and received advice from all the instructors that I can immediately use. Overall it was a great time and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, well maybe Jessica Alba but THATS IT!
