Mr M & Braddock BootCamp - Melbourne, August 2009

Ok so it’s been a week since my boot camp with Braddock and Mr M , I wanted to wait a little while before I wrote this review because I wanted to see how the package would influence my life as well as my game. I mean obviously I improved my game out of sight, that’s a no brainer, but I was really more interested in how the rest of my life would be affected. After just one week the results were pretty spectacular.

Firstly, the boot camp, it was amazing! Braddock and Mr M have awesome game and are great to watch in action, but they also take a great interest in the students and really get involved to ensure you improve and get the results you want. Mr M even said he gets more nervous watching us approach than we probably do doing it.

Once you get through the seminars you’ll have a much better understanding of game than you ever could from reading magic bullets alone. Then once you get out in the field itself, you’ll be amazed how quickly things start falling into place. You’ll smash through that approach anxiety and have the time of your life.

In my case, by the end of the first night, I had an engaged girl with the biggest rock on her finger wanting to drag me away upstairs so her friends couldn’t watch us make out! It was unbelievable.

As for the rest of my life, that’s taking off as well, the subsequent boost in confidence to my personality has effected how people respond to me everywhere, work, home and social settings. Let me give you some examples:

- At work I had the opportunity to talk to the CEO and founder of a national business magazine here in Australia, he’s since offered to be a mentor and given me his mobile number.

- A few days later I caught up with my ex and a bunch of friends for a social function. I had a great time and was approaching sets left, right and center; by the end of the night the whole bar knew me. Next morning my ex is calling wanting to catch up again for lunch! Of course I said no.

I’ve never been as optimistic and excited about my future with girls, work, relationships and life as I am right now! And it all started with Braddock , Mr M , and the approach coaches on a great weekend in Melbourne. You’ll also form a great bond with the other guys in the group and I think I’ve made some great friends already.

If you are anything like me, then you’re tossing up whether 3 grand for a weekend is worth it, it’s a lot of money right? But what you have to remember about the Emotional Progression Model is that it’s a conduit for a lifestyle! The kind of life you’re going to love. Trust me, in time you’ll think it was the best 3 grand you ever spent. Go for it!!

It's been almost a week since the start of the Melbourne bootcamp I took with Braddock and Mr. M over the weekend. I first heard about the pick-up community a couple of years ago and during that time I have basically worked to get my hands on any pick-up material I could. This has amounted to an extraordinary amount of reading and understanding of pick-up theory in my head, but very little action - a common problem in this community it seems.

Before the bootcamp I had used some of the material I had read and actually had some success with it - but this was only with girls I happened to find myself in conversation with, ie girls from work, friends of friends, etc, NEVER had I managed to pluck up the courage to actually approach a girl I didn't know.

I basically signed up for the bootcamp because I felt I had learned enought theory and was now ready for action. I just needed a kick in the ass to go and approach. I felt confident that if I could get the opening and transitioning part of the game handled I'd be able to figure the rest out from there. I mean you can't figure anything out if you can't open and transition right?

What I found when I went out over the two nights was just how easy it is to approach! I realised that the reason I had never approached before was because everytime I thought about doing it I would not only get approach anxiety , but I would imagine the worst possible scenario. What I found was the exact opposite! Most girls were actually open to having a conversation! Not only that, but the blow-outs I had were actually fun too! By the end of the second night I was having the most fun I have had in a long time and I just stopped caring. If you had watched my body language you would have seen that I actually looked happier when I got blown out! When things went well you would have seen me smiling as I left the set, but when things went badly I could hardly contain my laughter. It really was an awesome night.

The intructors were awesome too! Braddock is an all round cool and inspiriational guy and Mr. M is very charismatic. They both have the key parts figured out - that is they have an extraordinary theoretical understanding of what they teach AND they are able to demonstrate and teach it live too, catering the advice to students individually.

The approach coaches were awesome too - we pretty much had a 1 to 1 ratio of instructors to students. One in particular was really helpful to me - after I opened a 2 set, he winged me and took the not so hot friend while I talked to the attractive one. I talked to her for ages before he dragged me away to go and discuss how I had done. He was really encouraging over the weekend and kicked my ass at the right times too. Thanks man - I only know your real name which I can't post but hopefully you know who you are. Another AC lent me his jacket when we were going to a place which required us to be slightly more dressed up and I didn't have one. Thanks man!

I could rave on about this experience for ages, but to finish up I have to say that what the bootcamp did for me was to change the wiring in my brain. I now look forward to going out to bars and lounges, whereas before I wasn't really motivated to. Most profoundly though, now when I think of approaching attractive girls I no longer feel paralysed with negative thoughts. Instead, I think of fun, excitement and future possibilities. I have realised at a deep level that this really is just a game and the aim is to learn as you go and above all have FUN no matter what happens! Thanks guys!

Beachboy, It's Rich, the AC from the weekend! Dude, just wanted to tell you it was awesome to see your progression over the duration of the bootcamp and I'm super stoked for you. I'm looking forward to seeing big things from you next time I'm in Melbourne, Mate.

The content of my review is more about my experience during the weekend as i feel like the content of the bootcamp has been outlined many times and is almost unnessary to recap.

Much like Beachboy, prior to bootcamp I read through magic bullets and had a bit of an idea of what was going on, but had put very little to practice. The bootcamp changed all that.

The seminars during the day were chock full of information and you learn a lot more than whats contained in magic bullets . Even the info you can find in magic bullets are explained better and put into context. There were a few activities during the seminar portion including being out in the street and looking real suss. Ok imagine you're a resident in a street and seeing about 15 blokes telling each other how georgeous they are...yep suss. However, it was a crack up and there was method to the madness, as we all saw later that night.

We got to the bar and were thrown into the deep end. 'go open those two sitting down'...bam! i started out with a couple indirect approaches to warm up and get the feel of it. As the night went on we were pushed into situations much more out of our comfort zone. I was certainly not comfortable opening a 4-set with a direct opener, but i managed to do it and not get blown out. I bailed out of it after not too long, but it was certainly something i'd never done before. Later on I was in set with a girl after one of the more unconventional openers ever - Braddock just waved at this girl to get her attention then signalled for her to walk over us, he then started talking to the AC that was standing with us and i was suddenly in set. Turned into a pretty good set and that chick comes back into play on the second night out.

By the second nite i think all students had opened and trasitioned enough to work on the other aspects. i loved looking around the room and seeing all the students in set with chicks, pushed me to work harder on my own game as well.

In terms of the instructors, Braddock and Mr M were awesome. You could think of them as a Shaq/Kobe type duo (during the lakers three-peat years obviously), in the sense that their teaching styles are pretty different and individually they’ll still get results but when you put them together they’re freakin unstoppable. Plus, they’ll both score consistently…bam!

Mr M put me into my favourite set of the second night. there was a chick at the bar and the line was something about who gets served first, even though she was already getting handed her drink...got in set and that chick was actually fun. got to work on teasing etc and it was going great until those fucking dancers came out! oh and ps, commenting on how gay those bloke dancers are doesnt go down too well when her brother is gay.

The approach coaches helped out immensely as well. They werent just there to help you approach, they were basically like extra instructors and at crucial times were awesome wingmen .

Sam was heaps helpful in working a few things out before the second night's session. cemented a few things from the seminars that I was unclear about. but damn man how did it go with those parking tickets?

Walking around with Kit was fun, he's got this mad laid back thing going on pretty much the whole time, even in set. Like heaps chill...so chill that you think he could potentially be about to take a nap. But hes got this mad style that i wouldnt mind modelling part of my game after.

I worked with Elate for a while on the first night and he helped me out heeeeaaaps with AA. i went thru a bit of a rut during the first nite and he helped me out of it. I think i opened him more than ive ever opened anyone in my life.

I was with Mark for a chunk of the second night and my game grew immensely in that time. Chucked me into some hard fucking sets at the beginning then wingmaned in the set with that hot blonde chick. It didnt go anywhere but it was a long convo and my mid-game certainly benefitted from that. I remember right at the end attempting to open a chick who seemed to be having an intense convo with her friend, dude that chick was pisssssed off!

Now comes the crux of the second night. my prob at the beginning was getting into friend zone and not escalating. Braddock told me to open a 3-set that someone else had just gotten blown out of. I first thought "your kidding right" then went to "ah fuck it...lets just have fun". Went in and Sam soon wingmaned the 2 friends. it was going ok with the chick but pretty much ur usual go-no-where type convo. then Dilllinger comes in with something written on his mobile, 'say her shoes are sexy', shows it to me then walks away...the chick prob thought that was a bit suss. then later on a bit comes in with a more subtle "oh hey look what [insert random name] sent me on my phone!" with something written like 'put your freaking arm around her'...i think she was getting more suss. either way after the set he took me aside and kicked my arse for not escalating and laid it all out. he'd picked up on my main weakness and told me what i needed to hear to get past it. that burst of anger and yelling actually cememted a lot and in itself was almost worth the price of admission.

Braddock had a chat to me about it later as well and gave me a few pointers on how to handle it next time. at that stage of the night i felt like it was coming together, I could see where the gaps were, i just needed to practice it a lot more to get it smoother. It was also at this time of nite i decided to msg the chick from the nite before. a few more pointers from braddock later and i was in a cab with her back to my hotel. successful nite.

in the week and a half since the bootcamp i've been out a couple of times and having so much more success. and im not even lying to pump up the review. If i was truthfully bombing out, i'd say it, but i'd be yanking your chain. this...shit...works. As Mr M said, just come in as a blank slate and you'll get a hell of a lot out of this.

Guys, theres not a whole lot more to say than whats already been said in previous review posts. If you have the cash and the desire to change this area of your life, then you shouldnt hesitate for a second. i tried to write a review that offered a bunch of constructive criticism, but found it pretty hard to find areas that could have worked better - In my view, perhaps location of the seminars could be improved with maybe desks so writing and typing doesnt get uncomfortable after a while. Sorta felt abit cramped in there and all the AC's couldnt even fit in the room most of the time. That being said, thats all superficial stuff. The meat of this experience was top notch, couldnt be happier with the product.

by the way, dilllinger, check your post. Just what did you just want to say to beachboy just just? Just to all the other blokes who took the bootcamp, just want to say ur all mad blokes and if youre ever up in syd just gimme a call and we'll rip it up...just.

oh boy where do i start??
before the weekend i had read magic bulliets and the game and thought i had an idea! i had no idea just how much more i would learn! i lost count of how many sets i had approched in the first few hours of the first night.
Mr M and Braddock where magic on the friday night i was talking to a 2 set who had a guy with them as well and i could tell the obstical (other female) wanted to blow me out then Mr M came and winged me and before i knew it i was doing tequila shots with the target and eating the lemon out of each others mouths!!!
Then Braddock told me next set i want you to pick the girl up of the ground and turn her around, i was alittle scepticle but i thought what the hell she laughed and the bouncers told me off haha.
the ACs where awesome as well very encouroging pushing me into sets and telling me what i had done wrong.
beleive me i will never have trouble approching again!
it has also helped at work with how i handle people above and below me. All in all was an absolutly awesome weekend and i would recommend it to anyone!!
i have been out once since and woke up next to a girl i had been chasing back in the afc days haha

I was never planning to do a bootcamp because i though its going to be exactly the same as reading magic bullets ... but after attending Inner game and social circle mastery with Mr.M and Braddock i honestly changed my mind.... thier inner game is bullet proof and thier confidence is contagious...

The bootcamp was i life time experience and Mr.M and Braddock feed back was priceless... in my openion some people get the game by reading , some by practicing ... I GOT IT by watching Mr.M and Braddock in Action in the field...

Even though the are the top instructors in the world yet they are super humble ... what i learned in the bootcamp will not just transform my game but i believe many other areas of my life as well... Thank you guys...

August 2009 Melbourne Bootcamp with Braddock & Mr. M

Hey guys

It been 3 weeks since the bootcamp now. If not anything else, my fear of approach is gone forever. I cannot stress this enough but man I can approach any chick under the sun now. Unbelieveable for a guys like me who is pretty friendly in nature but not a born extrovert.

Also, my bootcamp buddies and I are still in touch and we are go out pickin up every weekend!! one of my problems earlier was that I was doin it alone and it kinda got boring after a while and I had stopped making any progress as well. But now I have fun catching up with my bootcamp buddies over the weekend and we learn a lot from each other.

Mr M and Braddock were great. They gave us the theory and also showed us a lot of in field action. FANTASTIC!! Rest of the approach coaches had a lot to offer as well. Braddock and Mr M are extremely different individuals in terms of their personalities but yet both are successfull with women. So, no matter what your personality, you can be excellent with women.

Guys, I had to think a lot before spending US$ 3,000 as that can be an average man's entire month of salary here in Australia. But it was worth it. If I hadn't done it, I'd probably live the rest of my life that what I was missing by not doing the bootcamp. But having done the bootcamp, I have learnt that the whole game thing is not as hard as we make it to be. It is simple, you just need somebodu to show you the right direction!!

Melbourne bootcamp - August 2009

Few first time experiences I had in the boot camp were
1- approaching a set of five girls,
2- sexually escalating with a girl who keeps telling you she is dating someone and ignoring what she is saying (and telling her that you want to rip her clothes off!)
3- and finally pulling a girl out of a set of 3 (2 men and a girl) while one of the men was hitting on her !
The boot camp was full of interesting things to learn during day time, and a lot of fun approaching girls in the evening with all the other guys.
Watching Braddock and MR.M approaching was fun, but their feedback was priceless !
I had so much fun and by the end of the 3rd day I felt so familiar with everyone in the boot camp since we all shared so many personal experiences together.
Simply, one of the best and most exhilarating experiences I ever had in my life.

Short Version: Amazing! Laid a girl on the first night of the bootcamp.I would not have been able to lay her without the instructors and approach coaches there to tell me what to do. Makeout on the second night.
Seminar was mind blowing, there was so much information my head hurt from listening and hand ached from writing. At 3 grand, the bootcamp may seem expensive; In fact it's by far the most expensive thing I've ever paid for, but it's without doubt the best money I've ever spent....seriously I can't believe I was on the fence about taking it, if you're even half thinking about it, TAKE A BOOTCAMP WITH MR. M AND BRADDOCK !


Long Version: I've been improving my game seriously for the last 4 and a half months. Everything was going fine, getting about a date a week, some going well :-) some going nowhere :-(, definately nothing to complain about. Then about a month ago i decided to take the bootcamp, mostly so I'd have no regrets about getting this part of my life handled to the fullest extent.

Firstly, the instructors and approach coaches are really solid guys! No pussyfooting around anything. They were straight up and honest with what we did right and what we needed to improve on.

The seminar part was intense, so much information, but all of it relevant and understandable. Before I took the bootcamp, I used have all these random lists of things that worked or "sort of" worked, but none of them were in order. The seminar basically gave us a really simple blueprint of what to do(from "Hey" to lay). I used to think i needed a million things to get girls but so far what's hellped me the most are some of the simpliest bits I've learned from the seminar.

In field, the instructors and approach coaches are equally amazing; both with the their sets and mine, everytime I needed to advance a set, they would swoop by and tell me what i needed to do, it was like having ninjas infield with you. Then everytime a set didn't go so well, they'd be right there asking how the set went and showing us how to correct it for next time.
If it wasn't for the instructors and approach coaches I wouldn't have got laid on the first night of the bootcamp. Most importantly the infield part made the theory real.

I had a list of about 20 really specific questions that i wrote out before the bootcamp that I wanted answered. The instructors asked us to wait till the end of the bootcamp to ask specific questions. By the end, all except one had been answered through the seminar, and of course they answered my one remaining question with a super detailed answer.

Seriously guys, I really had to scrape the money together to pay for the bootcamp, yet it was more than worth it, if you're even semi 'on the fence' about it, JUST DO IT!
