When I saw that Soul was teaching Day Game in a city near me, I was hesitant at first. A lot of the usual questions popped into my mind: Can I afford this right now? Do I want to go all the way to Miami? Is this really going to be worth the time and money? I’m glad I got over those questions and just decided: What the hell.

Soul’s Day Game seminar presented some really valuable information in its differences with “regular” game, designed for bars and clubs (although there is some transfer, here and there). Just like a lot of the other guys in the seminar, I prefer meeting women in quieter venues that don’t keep me out all night, every night. It sucks, but that lifestyle is harder pull off the older you get, especially if you have gainful employment. Deal with it.

I wish I could have stuck around for the in-field portion, but I had a long drive and work to get back to. (Damn shame too, the weather that day in Miami Beach was great and I’m sure it would’ve presented plenty of awesome targets). Fortunately, I’ve had some success already using the knowledge I’ve learned in class. Just knowing what I now know, has made me feel more confident in approaching daytime targets of opportunities that I would have let slip by previously.

Soul’s Day Game techniques come from an unapologetically direct paradigm, which make for really efficient results. What I really like about the stuff I learned in Soul’s seminar, is that you don’t usually have to wonder for very long if a woman is interested. Even on approaches where things don’t go as well as you’d prefer, the definite upside is that you don’t waste time.

Vercetti was a really cool co-instructor. Talking to him reminded me of the basic importance of having interests outside of Game. 1) It makes you a more well-rounded person for your own sake, and 2) having outside interests and activities strengthens your inner game, and helps you bring that much more life experience and value to the table when approaching women.

I was quite excited to be doing the workshop with Soul and being fresh from a bootcamp just one month ago I thought I’d get a lot out of it. From all the videos I’d seen, Soul seemed to be a great teacher and he didn’t disappoint.

I was quite curious to see what the 4 hour seminar portion of the workshop would be like because after getting a preview to day game at the bootcamp and a sneak peak at what other companies teach I could basically see that it was all about going direct. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that there was a lot more to it than just delivering a line to the girls.

The great thing about the way this workshop is taught is that every single approach is exactly the same and follows the same structure once initial contact is established. Don’t get me wrong, it takes balls to go up to women in the street and do this but once you start to get used to it you will get better every time because your just doing the same thing over and over again. It’s easier to learn than night game because there are a lot less variables. Even so, there are a lot of subtleties that go into the delivery and Soul is an amazing teacher. No book you read can substitute his demonstrations in the seminar. He even had some of the guys almost wanting to kiss him when he was showing us how to do the approaches on them.

Vercetti was the other instructor that was present and he was only there for a short time during the seminar portion, but he also provided some great input and some awesome analogies to get or inner game up to par before the infield session.

In Field
As usual, the infield portion is where you learn the most. I highly recommend to anyone that’s thinking about taking this workshop to take both seminar and infield. We choose a very busy street here in Miami. The instructors did a couple of demos and I set off with Soul and two other students for the first half of the afternoon.

Surprisingly I was actually very nervous when we were getting started. This wasn’t the case for all the guys but it was worse for me at first than when I did the bootcamp. The first 3 or 4 approaches were kind of shaky but when I noticed the reactions from the girls were all very similar I started to do better. They basically went from a WTF look to a big smile and thank you. Soul was always very insightful and constantly correcting our mistakes. He helped me quite a bit to get over the AA. On an important side note, there were modeling events going on all over Miami that weekend which meant that during the day there were models walking all over the streets.

Needless to say that there were a lot hot girls going around. Soul had us running across the streets, almost getting run over by cars and buses, to catch up to girls. It was almost 100 degrees that day so it was a freaking work out!

Midway through the afternoon we meet up with the rest of the guys were Soul and Vercetti exchanged information on how each of us was doing and what we had to work on. Then we were off again.

This second half went a lot better for me. Vercetti made me practice a few times and it seemed to get easier from then on. I have to mention that this guy is also an excellent teacher, always very alert and providing constant feedback. I did a bunch of approaches and when we were finally winding down we passed by a truly stunning blond girl having lunch with two guys. So I casually ask Vercetti how one would go about finding if she’s with her boyfriend and how one would approach a tough set like that. He said it was simple and explained how it should be done (you need to take the workshop to get these techniques) and then said “go”.

I was taken aback and said what me? Now? He said, yeah you wanted to know, go find out. I was thinking “sh!t I should have kept my mouth shut haha” I totally screwed up the 3 second rule and it took me a few minutes to actually go. Vercetti said not to worry about number closing or anything, just go and do it so you see it can be done. He also said we weren’t leaving until I did the approach. Crap.

So I went in and it turned out she was just visiting and the two guys were just friends. They were totally cool and the girl was friendly. I invited her out later that night but I didn’t even remember to number close.

All in all a great afternoon. The instructors are great guys that I would be happy to have as friends. For me it was a bit of a rollercoaster ride where I got over the initial AA and was then pushed beyond what I thought was possible. I now feel that I have the tools to meet any girl anywhere. Of course not all approaches will be successful but I will now be able to feel that I didn’t let any opportunity pass me by. Great workshop, highly recommended.
