Hello, I'm The Dandy Man, Big time AFC

Hello, I'm entirely new to the game, I'm a total AFC and have just had problems with communicating in people in general. I have high functioning autism, which can lead to some difficult situations, but for the part I've learned to work with and around it most of the time.

Whenever I'm around girls, my throat closes up, even when there is no interaction between us. When I was in high school, I would freeze-up while taking a test next to a pretty girl. My voice starts out loud then becomes incredibly quiet. Sometimes I stop mid sentence. However, I do believe that I can progress despite my inadequate social life.

I've read "The Game" but it doesn't seem to quite help me with the problems, since, a book isn't very interactive but informative. I can't ask the book questions.

I'm eager to here what has to be said and will take criticism, thank you.

Go to the mirror. Reach down and grab your nutz. Say, "Thousands of other guys have started out where I am. They have all succeeded. There is absolutely no excuse for me to fail."

Now start being more assertive and quit being fucking scared of people. Throw yourself into every weird difficult and messy social situation you can find and force yourself to laugh and make fun of it afterwards.

You're never as bad as you think you are.

Are you comfortable explaining that to women?

Not in a 'pity me I want sympathy' way.

But 'this is how I am, I'm dealing with it' way
