    Introduction. (Original title, I know.)

I'm hesitant in posting anything, as I've yet to see any female posters, and I know women aren't always welcome in the PUA community. Hopefully this won't turn into a trial by fire, as I've seen over in the blogging community. So, yes, I'm female. Please don't hold that against me.

    That being said...

Last week, I was pretty much "dumped" by my main lover, because he felt that I should not be playing the game, that it would be a poor reflection on him. I've been doing this for years, enjoying it, but feeling so isolated because no one else around me did it or understood. I always ended up educating my friends, both male and female, on how to interact with the opposite sex, even if they were significantly older than me. I'm overly analytical and come off detached at times, a total INTJ, which rubs people oddly. Accusations of being manipulative, a predator (Or, as when my main recently ended things, he compared my style of thinking to that of a serial killer. Somehow, we're still friends.), a shark, etc.

Then The Game was recommended to me by a friend who I discussed this problem with. Worlds opened up, angels sung, and I did not feel quite so alone anymore. The Game was followed by The Art of Seduction, then Sperm Wars. Those books allowed me to define what I did and how I did it (and, in Sperm Wars, why I did it), then helped me make it more polished.

I've spent the last few months in the periphery of the PUA blogging community, and have been enjoying it immensely. I've learned a lot and I hope to continue to do so here.

    Thank you,

    Poetry

    Intreguing

I've only just got into this whole way of thinking, and i think it is ironically suited more to women than men. Mostly because of the body language and social dynamic elements. Welcome to the forums

    Hey Poetry,

Welcome to the forums! I'm happy to say you'll find other female posters here (sampayne, FemmeFatal, and kelly_monaco are the frequent posters, and there are others lurking around as well). I'd have to say that compared to other PUA boards I've seen, this one has been the most female-friendly, so I think you'll be happy here.

    Happy hunting,

    Rogue

The more women the better. If we all just conciously understood why we did certain things, it wouldn't be such a drag sometimes to make things happen.

Thank you all. I have finally found the other females on here, and it looks like everyone treats them politely, which is such a nice change. I hope I'll be able to positively contribute to the forum like they obviously have been.
