    Making pauses vs filling silences

I was listening to voice coach Roger love's program and he says that instead of doing pauses while taking, one should aim to fill those empty spots with the sounf of your voice. This is in direct opposition, at least apparently, with what I have heard from several PU coaches, incuding Mystery, since they advice to add pauses to the speach to add intrigue.

What is the way to procee d?

I think the roger love guy is meaning pauses that give the false impression you've finished speaking. (so they don't cut in)

What mystery means is adding pauses at the right moments to make the person listen more intently.

Mystery says it too, people pause at the wrong times and the listener switches off.
