New routine, Field tested once or twice, needs some work

So I was just off the cuff bullshitting in set, and I was running out of material, so I told the target to tell us a story. She said she was no good at telling stories, so I said I'd teach her. At this point we're at least in A3, its a wierd situation, but thats not the point. So I tell her to think of something interesting that happened to her that would make a funny/cool story. She said she couldnt think of anything so i told her "Well think about it and get back to me when you think of something". I continued convversation with the rest of the set and at some point tapped her on the elbow and asked if she had anything yet. She said she did and I quickly alerted the rest of the group to this. She starts telling the story and I interject where she needs to change things until finally, the story ends. Somewhere in there she had some bad story ideas (I got really stoned and passed out, and i busted on her for having boring stories and being a stoner). All in all it worked fairly well, didnt close, but thats not the point. Thoughts?

I actually like this. Seems like a good side to drop between threads. Also I think it would really get emotions going; nervousness, excitement, etc., when she actually has to tell the story in front of people, these emotions the ordinary guy doesn't bring her. Definitely potentional in this one, thanks.

    Hey...

I usually use this method with jokes. I tell a couple and then I ask the target to tell me one, once she is finished with the punch line, I look at her with a straight face and say "then what happened?" Later, Scott.

You also have to figure that most girls would be too scared to tell their story publicly, even after thinking of a good event. In this case, It might be smart to isolate, something along the lines of,
" Okay, well come tell me and I'll help you so you can re-tell it later."

i think thats where i made my mistake. I put her on the spot and dsome other dude ended up coming over and talking to her instead. I'd say he amoged me, but you have to be alpha to amog, and alpha this guy was definitely not.
