    Reality based training in Atlanta

Heres a quick question for everyone? If the LA Lakers drafted you and asked you to be a part of their team starting tomm., whats the first thing they would do to help you learn the "game" of basketball? I'll tell you what they would not do, they would not ask you to read a bunch of e books nor would they ask you to play in the game right a way. They would tell you to be at practice at 10 am sharp and you would learn by doing gamelike drills with other teammates.
Ok enough basketball, where am I going with this? I think that we can learn this material A LOT faster by forming our own practice night with like minded teammates. I think many people here including me are learning this material
in an uneffective manner causing frustration and very little growth.
Therefore, starting aug. 14 at 7pm I introduce to all PUAs in atlanta: MONDAY NIGHT GAME PRACTICE.
Because of my acting backround I have every tool needed to simulate real life scenarios including camcorder, club lights, music, mirrors, and a few other less conventional yet practical training devices. You'll be able to run game
in front of other puas who will give you instant feedback on your sticking points. Everyone is at different levels and no one will act as coach as
we all learn from each other. Im all about sarging, reading, debriefing, discussing theory etc. But I think we're missing a key component that would
probably help us make the biggest gains in the shortest time possible.
Every skill that exists that involves mind and body is learned under 3 principles. Step A: GATHERING INFORMATION ex. e books, dvds, reading posts etc. Step B: PRACTICING WITH LIKE MINDED INDIVIDUALS- this is where you learn by direct feedback in a safe environment.
Step C: GAMETIME ex-sarging. There is no substitute for this step but without proper step B, step C might not turn out as planned b/c of other factors such as the infamous adrenaline rush. If you practice under duress your mind and body will be used to its effects so that in the real game you will not falter. Trust me on this one, look at the military and how they train soldiers. They dont just send them to war. They help them experience war by practicing under war like conditions first. So I encourage everyone to show up to practice.
