I thought about starting a new thread with reviews of venues in this area of London town.

Ok, I'll start the thread by giving you guys my opinion of the Walkabout, on Shaftesbury Avenue. If anyone else would like to add anything, please drop us a line.

Walkabout, Shaftesbury with Charing X Road: Wednesday (Student Night) till 3AM. Students with a membership card get in for free.

This is a relatively small venue. The location is great as it is very easy to get there and you can go sarge there on the spur of the moment as no-one is dressed up.

The ground level consists of a dance floor (with 'escape areas' on both sides) and a bar that takes up the south wall. I don't have great dance floor game, but I've had good results sarging girls who are just taking a break to the side of the dance floor.

The upper level is a mezzanine with a bar against the south wall also. In my experience (being there on three student nights) is that girls here tend to be a bit less sociable, but I imagine it could be a good place for a bounce. If you have not done so, I recommend you try Mystery's Murder, Marry, Shag game with your target from up there.

At the moment, I'm having trouble locking in on sets on the dance floor, but this is a sticking point of mine and has nothing to do with the venue.

People there are normally in their early twenties and tend to be friendly. So far, I have not seen any model-type HB who simply HAS to be negged there.
