Napa Valley? !!

I'll be going there 27-29th on a roadtrip; no big plans other than wineries, and hitting up Chez Panisse, founder of the whole "organically grown" school of thought for eating. http://www.chezpanisse.com/

for sure dude i live about an hour south of the napa valley and im only 17 but i still know wat up lol......if u go to cotatithere will be a place called sweet lous.....if u go to rhonert park there will be a place called LIQUID LOUNGE...i can ask around some more eventually pm me bro.

Thanks, CHEZ Panisse is awesome. The food is great and fresh. It's in Berkeley and there are two sections: the restaurant (fixed) menu or the cafe, which is pretty expensive too. It is a great COMFORT place but for PU it is okay. The food is really good. My main course (fried fish) was not that good but I ordered 2 main courses. All Salads and soups, lamb, wow everything else good. I'd give it equivalent of zagat rating 26 or 27.


If you want to sarge, V. Sattui is in Napa. It is one of the bigger wineries and you can get FREE WINE TASTING. It was our 3rd or 4th stop of the day after hitting up Cakebread winery (nice open lobby) but V.Sattui is good because it has a big (HUGE) outdoor picnic area. There is a ton of fresh meat, free samples, wow that market/winery is awesome!! Most of the time in the wineries you can get a tour. At our last one (Pride), an expensive winery, we actually went in the caves where they store the wine in the barrels to do barrel tasting. The wineries are really relaxing, and good scenery, I would go there for C1 and if after you're dating someone. There are almost 500 wineries, we hit about 6 or 8 in half a day so by the time you do that you are pretty trashed.

Best place was V.Sattui because of the food, free wine and tons of people//outdoors. Really nice, but I heard napa valley gets hot in the summer so go in the winter, spring or fall.

Heres some food. Chez Panisse, then Pride Mountain, my brother and his GF, the caves at winery. Overall it's a real cool date place. Go to the bigger wineries with lots of people for PU. Cakebread cellars is the last pic, very outgoing tourguide, real cool, getting drunk at 10AM

I live in Vallejo and am in Napa often. The wineries are good but everyone is a tourist just about, so you have to close fast. People that actually live in Napa are a bit older, but there is a place called Downtown joes that is pretty happening in downtown area.
