Cultural Competition Theory
Brothers,
How ya doing? Finally got a chance to post. Its been crazy hectic, but I thought was really important to contribute to the community that started it all for me personally. The knowledge that is shared on this forum is fantastic!Furthermore, the knowledge that I have acquired from studying the Venusian arts have truly changed my life. Big props and shout-outs to ||||| who I met on the set of MTV Live in Canada. He really held out down on the show when he was being hit with a barage of accusatory questions by the host Alliyah-Jasmine! Don't worry |||||, I happened to run into her at a bar after the show and I set the record straight. A friendship as also been sparked out of that chance meeting as well!
Anyways, heres our post! Tell us what you think guys!!
Cities that have high immigration are the toughest places to pick-up women. The majority of new immigrants are males. Men typically leave other countries to establish themselves. Women are a lot less likely to move on their own to new countries. Women that come to a new country are typically with a family or their significant other.
Whether the men that move to the new city are single or not, if they came to the new country alone they will be trying to meet women in the new city. This creates a situation in cities of this nature where in the clubs you see a greater ratio of men to women. These men are all working to pick-up the same women.
Additionally, when women are continually picked up they have less tolerance for the next pursuer. Women in these cities do not feel the same pressure to meet a man, as they are bombarded everyday with possible suitors.
Another reason that women in highly immigrated cities are more difficult to pick-up is they have seen various techniques from around the world. The more variations of pick-up styles that you come into contact with, the more difficult it is for guys to come across as original. Every culture in the world has subtleties in the way that the men relate to their women. This makes for plethora of different looking games and approaches.
The final reason deals with a theory that we have coined as ‘Defensive Self Image’. Immigrant communities within metropolitan areas often engage in a process of ethnocentric behaviour. They tend to live together, eat together and socialize within that specific region while alienating others. What is odd about this behaviour is that although they attempt to encourage isolative behaviour, everyone within these communities knows that success can only be achieved by acquiring the resources that are available to the greater population. For example, Toronto has been ranked as one of the most difficult cities in the world to pick-up due to its strong multicultural make-up. Within this city it has become widely accepted and known that a Chinatown, Little Portugal, Little Italy and etc. are all mini-communities that exist under the greater umbrella of Toronto.
These communities provide a sense of belonging and safety for new immigrants, and allow them to establish themselves before heading out into the greater parts of the city to pursue their dreams. The problem that arises daily is that you have thousands of individuals heading into the workforce from different cultures all competing for the same resources. Naturally, what occurs out of this phenomenon is the resentment and jealousy between the daily winners and losers. Unfortunately, psychological issues begin to mutate and individuals start theorizing about why they’re failing. Their conclusions usually involve a loathing hate directed towards anyone who is unlike them.
However, because we are so called civilized people in civilized era. Many of these individuals refrain from lynching and burning crosses in protest of the other peoples who are so called ‘stealing their jobs and their women/men and etc’! What they do intern is engage in a ‘cold war’ of sorts, were there is underlying feeling of contest and competition. It is here where the true fun begins.
Because individuals are constantly feeling self conscious about their lot in life, they adjust their behaviour to make sure that all times they are putting their best foot forward professionally and socially. Socially is where OUR greatest concern lies because this adjusted behaviour has been having a direct effect on how successful men are in their attempts to seduce females.
With this set of circumstances in place the tension that looms over a society at all levels is almost palpable. People often walk around with their guards up, afraid of being exposed as inferior or even worse – undesirable! It is this self-consciousness that created a less then conducive situation for seduction. Women specifically, feel a greater sense of competition because they have the added stress of remaining attractive while remaining competitive within the capitalist framework!
NOW, enter the club scene. A mix of women from different backgrounds jamming the local hotspot vying for the attention of a male they deem desirable. However, they can’t truly be themselves because they have an image to defend. An image of perceived and trumped up superiority.
