Killer new opener for dancers?

Here's a new opener I field tested tonight, and would like to get everyone's thoughts:

First let me paint the scene: a huge, super loud nightclub with multiple bars that features ridiculously hot female bartenders periodically dancing on top of the bars (and no, it's not Coyote Ugly :-)).

I approach one of the side bars where a dancer/bartender has just finished a booty-licious routine and is back into drink serving mode.

Me: (pointing to another dancer at an adjacent bar) Hey, what's the name of that girl dancing over there?

Hot Bartender (HB): That's Gina. Why?

Me: Well, Gina just told me that she's the best dancer here. What do you think about that?

The HB immediately gets REALLY riled up.

HB: She said that?? She said that to you?

Me: Yeah, she did. Personally I think it's a toss up between the two of you. But hey, what do I know? Who do YOU think is the best dancer here?

HB: (with clenched jaw) Best dancer as far as what? Ass shaking?

Me: Well, whatever.

HB: (still bitter) I'm not going to comment. That's all I'm going to say. So she said that she's the best dancer? To you?

Me: (looking at HB dead in the eye). Yes, that's what she said. How long has she been dancing here? How long have YOU been dancing here?

HB: (raising her hands) Well I've got nothing to say. Not going to comment.

At this point conversation ended and I went about my business. And in case you're wondering, no, the statement I made was completely made up - I had never spoken a word to this Gina girl. I'm a newbie to the whole PUA thing, and didn't really know how to transition this opener into A2, particularly since it was based on a lie.

So, my question is:

1) is this a good opener for this particular type of hired gun?
2) if yes, then how could this opener be integrated into a successful set where I parlay the HB's competitive juices into a successful pick up?

The fact that the HB's reaction was SO strong to my statement, tells me I'm on to something... just not sure were to take it.

Seems you successfully pissed her off lol. Good opener but you should have transitioned rather than staying on the who is a better dancer topic

Good opener. No dhv's and you became the question asking guy. Questions are like withdrawls from the bank. You should use them sparginly. Better to make statements with dhv laden stories
