Busy bar, good openers for attractive bar tenders?

So in the attempt to break out of my oneitis, I have been out every night this week doing multiple sets. I was at a very busy bar and the bar tender was a HB 8.5, like EVERY gotti type dudes was all over her, I quickly reverted to an AFC, tipping way too much and being very awkward. This bring me to my question what is a good way to approach this. Or even an attractive waitress. You guys have been very great help this week, I feel like I have made some huge strides in other areas, but this was just a bit over my head.
