Help with two things please

Well I am new to this whole thing kinda. I read an e-book about 2 years ago and had mild success while employing some of its teachings but got away from it for awhile. Now every since the VH1 show came out, I have gotten back into it pretty heavily and have decided to really apply myself and put this area of my life in order. I have got 2 things going for me right now. I am a decent looking guy and have found a look that works for me. However, this has recently became a problem for me as you will see shortly. So anyway, here is what happened last night.

I went to a local bar around 1 o'clock. I went in and set at the bar with a HB9 working bartender. She comes over and takes my order and proceeds to chat me up. She tells me how she has worked a double shift and how she is alergic to smoke (which I busted on, I mean she does work in a bar). After finishing my beer, she comes back to get me another one, which I made her pick out. She brought me one back which I told her was horrible (it really was too). Then after finishing that one, made her pick me another (which she insisted on buying ). This time I told her it was a great pick (push-pull). Now unfortunetly, this is about the time that a UG3 or lower comes over and starts pretty much raping me at the bar. The problem is that they knew each other and the bartender was actually giving her a ride home as I found out later. So while I was preoccupied with UG3, HB9 was helping other patrons. So I went and threw darts with UG3 just for the hell of it. She never left my side the rest of the night and pretty much ruined my chances with HB9. So after talking with HB9 and UG3 at the bar, we were the only ones left and HB9 decided to shut it down and actually asked about giving me a ride home (IOI or friendly gesture?). I politely declined but felt awkward about setting up a future meeting with HB9 since UG3 had already given me her number and stuffed it in my pocket and UG3 was right by her car.

So I guess my questions are:
1. How do you disarm a girl you are not interested in without causing a bad situation (story of my life)?

2. Is there a way to close HB9 with UG3 standing right there?

I have had this situation (UG cock block) before but when I tried to disarm her it created too much tension within the group. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
