Dunbar's number is the supposed cognitive limit to the number of individuals with whom any one person can maintain stable social relationships: the kind of relationships that go with knowing who each person is and how each person relates socially to every other person.[1] Proponents assert that group sizes larger than this generally require more restricted rules, laws, and enforced policies and regulations to maintain a stable cohesion.

No precise value has been proposed for Dunbar's number, but a commonly cited approximate figure is 150.

But for now, in good faith, i'll add that it shows there to be so much more to specific locations for looking for opportunities to meet women than the usual options.

To use the Monkeysphere theory in a creating manner, one suggestion could be to organise to meet up with some friends outside of ones usual inner circle, as friends will attract other friends into your sphere of influence.

Here's a likely scenario: Your speaking to a work collegue from another department, and offer to catch up at a social location outside work hours. You offer to invite some friends, the other person invites friends of their own. Suddenly you have a chance to increase your friendship circle to the hopeful benefit of the whole group.

1. "sans comments" means WITHOUT comments. I'm assuming you meant something else, and giving you the benefit of the doubt.

2. It seems like you're supporting the idea of using one's social circle to meet people. That's why we have an entire section devoted to it.

Your recent posts suggest that ideas that may be new to you are written about extensively on the Forum.

Suggestion: Read through Best of the Forum and acquaint yourself with the rest of our sub Forums ... you'll find much to agree with.

Also, your writing is difficult to understand. If communication is your goal, keep it simple.
