Gaming and HB in my social circle

I'm kind of in tough spot here....About a week ago received a Facebook wall-post from an HB8 in my social circle. Granted this girl and I have very limited interaction within the social circle as I am relatively new to this group and have been gaming other bs's in it; though clearly it seems I've established myself as an Alpha figure within the group. I responded once and then after her intial response I reframed the convo onto the messages section. Now i'm in a bit of a jam. She's leaving for a week long cruise on Sunday, and I have planned a group acitvity for Sat involving tailgating for a baseball game and such. She says she cant come to the game Sat, but she wants me to come to this party tonight, Friday, one which I hadnt previously committed to. At this party the majority of this 12-18 person social circle will be present and they'll also be there on Sat for the game . My gameplan lately has been to limit my involement with the group in order to project value/a social life that i do have outside the group. Here's the dialogue so far. I'd appreciate any suggested responses plus any recommendations about what to do about the party. If i dont go I will go sarging w my right hand man tonight, so its kind of a win-win.

A cruise huh...look at you living the good life. I respect it, make sure you pick me up a nice souvenir, maybe a nice tacky Hawaiian shirt or that talking parrot i've always wanted : )

So basically not showing up to the baseball game bc of packing is pretty much the lamest thing ever. I understand you feel a little intimidated about hanging with the big boys, but dont worry we'll go easy on you
