Social circle dilemma.. please help!

Ok so I've been messaging my not-so-clso friend HB7's roomate who I will call HB9. We've been doing this privately over facebook because HB7 has claimed me as her target a long time ago.

However, I've built alot of rapport with HB9 and just recently sent her a message asking to hang out... but she's been taking over a day to get back to me, and i know for sure that she's been online since i sent the msg.

Im pretty sure she isnt gonna get back to me in an effort to preserve her friendship.

Would I stand better chances if I sent a similar msg to hb7 asking her to hang out with both of us? (keep in mind this would blow the discretion i have with HB9)

Or should I call HB9 on not responding to me and ask if its about HB7?

OR if you have any other ideas please let me know.
