Personally i wouldnt tell a girl i love her or miss her unless i really (and i mean REALLY) felt that way.
My last gf really whipped me and i felt obligated to tell her i loved her, mainly because she was telling me stuff like that, and was expecting it back. I regret it until today. she was controlling me.

Ok, how about, instead of telling her you love her, tell her you love her body.
Or tell her how sexy she is, or how you love her tongue or her tits or something.
Avoid the relationship aspect of it, but do make her feel better about herself.
