the fact that she has a boyfriend is meaningless...
if she was really that into him she would not have put herself in the situation in the first place, girls aren't dumb, she knew what was happening.
the fact of the matter is that she was just using her BF as an excuse to put the brakes on, which women often do, but it's how you deal with her putting the brakes on which makes all the difference in the world
when i get an objection from a woman like, "i have a boyfriend" i usually respond with something silly like, "i have a boyfriend too, and if he finds out he's not gonna buy me those leather chaps i wanted, we should really stop"
the idea is to never try to reason with her or justify her objection. be playful about it and make it seem like you want to stop even more than she does, then moments later you can slowly initiate again.
as far as not sleeping with women at your job because you'll be "shitting where you eat", i agree sort of...if you have a dream job that you love and you take totally seriously then you shouldn't do anything to jeopardize your job, but for most of us this just isn't the case.
