Default Easter London Bootcamp - a couple of queries / concerns

Hi All

I'm toying with attending this in London over Easter weekend, and have been for quite sometime, but can't quite bring myself to take the plunge. There are two main reasons for this.

The first being that I'm not certain the PUA scene is for me, in it's generally construed sense (be that right or wrong) - but I clearly recognise very definite skills to be gained that would be useful to be able to apply that I do not currently posess. I wonder at how feasible it is for someone to learn the skills without being full-on into the PUA scene? Please don't misunderstand what I say - I make no judgement of PUA (my presence here is clearly indicitive of a need to make a few changes), I'm just not certain that its for me.

The second is the price - can anyone provide some sense of what drives the price difference vs the likes of RSD ($1200)or ||||||||||| (£500) etc.? I can't get past the fact that $3000 is a shedload of cash for something I'm not wholly convinced of. Especially if there are 2 instructors and, say 10 guys?

Would be grateful for anyones thoughts, especially any of the instructors.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

StroppyJoe

I think you could keep out of the PUA scene if you so chose, but you would probably want to swap stories and tips with people after doing the bootcamp. And I think that is fine so long as pickup doesn't come to dominate you life. There are loads of things that we do that we could become addicted to if we didn't exercise self-control - alcohol, drugs, porn etc. I don't see that as a reason not to get involved in pickup.

As far as your second point goes, I have similar feelings. I think there are quite a few people who fancy doing a bootcamp but are being held back because they want to know whether it is really worth it. People are bound to get more price conscious as the world economy slows. I can't help that the instructors are missing a trick by not addressing these concerns, but maybe they don't feel they need to because the bootcamps - particularly the US ones - get booked out within weeks.

There are more than 2 instructors, we had 4(3 officially, one was approach coach) in the stockholm bootcamp for 8 students.

I was in the same boat as you where, I cant speak about the other bootcamps but the oneI just took was worth he money and if I had more money I wuould do the one this week in London.

It really changes your mindset for the rest of your life. They way I look at it is how will 3,000 seem to you in 10 years of being sucessful with girls(I dont care what anyone says, but sucess with woman is a big part of a man's life even if he just has the same girl for those 10 years)? If you work at this off course, its no magic bullet but the tools you get are there for life.

edit: I just put my stockholm review up, you should read it.

It will change your life in all areas.

I attended the last London Bootcamp and we had Mr.M, Sheriff, Rokker, Vercetti, Sam and Seb. Thats 6 instructors, some of which are approach coaches.

The toughest part about getting into game is handing over your money to complete strangers that you have never even met. But I had no choice. It was either that or to carry on with my old ways, living in fear, isolation and depression. $3,000 is a lot to pay, but for a life changing experience it's defiantly worth it. After the experience, it gives you the confidence to keep practicing your game and you notice that it keeps improving dramatically. The interactions the instructors had in sets blew my mind. You got to see it, to believe it.

PUA Training are cheaper, however their instructors aren't as good in connecting with sets (the ones I met). Also they constantly advertise their other courses (1-on-1's, Bootcamps e.t.c) and present it to you in a misleading manner. Those guys are more interested in your money then helping you. Well thats the impression I got.

You get what you pay for.

You should come if you want to get this area of your life handled. I personally don't want to be a part of the PUA "scene" either but the skills are essential for every guy. It doesn't mean you should make the "community" the focal point of your social life, which in my opinion is pretty lame, but learning these skills in depth will change the life you have for the better.

We're expecting 4 instructors and less than 10 students. Prob. 7 or so...

I agree with the others as well that you get what you pay for. Very few others are offering the quality of instruction that we are.

Best,

The Don

Default Thanks for the responses

The more I hear about these bootcamps the more they seem like the real deal.

Money permitting, I would definitely like to do one.

The "PUA scene" is simply a community that exists for people to further their skills in this area. It's not black and white in that you're either deeply in or you're not.

The healthiest thing is for you to take what you need from it to achieve the goals that you set yourself.

I know guys that are awesome with women that are deep in the community, I know guys that are awesome with woman that have never heard of it. You take what you need from it to get to where you want.

On bootcamps, having met and sarged with instructors from different camps and different backgrounds, I'd say what you're paying for in TMM is quality of teaching.

Every bootcamp I've assisted on I've seen instructors really go the length to make sure every student got a heap of things out of their experience - whether they started from a base of zero experience or were actually already good with women.

I continue to be impressed and in awe of the talent around me, Vegas was a true reflection of that!! I learnt so much from the other guys.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the responses guys, much appreciated. Seems pretty compelling I have to say.

I have a couple of commitments this weekend I need to clear up, but if I can get that done tomorrow without too much egg on my face, I will take your word on the endorsements and take the plunge. I do need this handled.

Thank again for the input.

Cheers

If you go for it please post a review. I'd be very interested in hearing your views.

You'll probably come back and say it was amazing. Then I'll be extremely jealous...
