Did I handle this the right way?

My "fuck-buddy" / friend I've been seeing for a year and a half off and on came over and started complaining about being "Super hungry" ect. and "needed to get somthing to eat asap" Now we had broken up a while back, and recently gotten back together after 5 months of hiatus. We broke up, mainly because I had become AFC status. Acted needy, wussy, gave into her demands, stuff like that.


I got back into the cocky/funny groove, in that 5 month period of nothing. Since we've been together, I have been following strict Cocky/funny, david deangelo routine with her all week, wich has been working it seems. I play hard to get, ect. So she comes over bitching about how hungry she is, and either for me to make her some food or go with her to get food, and if not we'll hang out another time.

I didn't like her attitude, as she was being bitchy about it, acting like a 10 year old who doesn't get her way. Now the AFC in me would have just simply made her food, or gone with her to go get some food, and thus, had a good night of sex. However...

Her tantrum was her way of trying to control me into getting what she wanted. She wanted me to fix her somthing to eat, or go drive with her somewhere to get food. I hadn't showered yet, I was rather sleepy, and didn't feel like going out. All in all, I didn't crack. I told her I do not like her attitude, and she's acting like a ten year old girl who isn't getting her way. She started to complain even more. So I said "We'll just hang out another time, I don't like your attitude, you can go home and eat" - To wich I opened the door, and stood there. She immediately gets up and leaves.

Even though I missed out on a night of some good sex, I held my ground, kept my balls and dignity, and didn't bend to her demands.

My whole point in this was to let her know I'm not going to be pushed around by a bratty attitude. What do you guys think?

this depends on if she was really bitchy and controlling like you say she did.
because if she was really really hungry and you didn't get the right vibe from her
then you just came off as a complete jerk.

It doesn't hurt to be nice once in awhile she may have been starving.

I don't know, I think you should have just given her some food. I'm not talking about cooking a gourmet meal, but some bread and stuff to put on it sort of thing.

I mean if she really acted like a spoiled kid screaming for food and telling you to make her something in a rude way, then yeah I can see your reaction as justified. But something tells me that you over analyzed everything about her and saw this as some power struggle where it quite possibly wasn't. I don't mind feeding someone who came over my house and is hungry if they act normal about it. And I'll make a girl a sandwich anytime if I know she's gonna put out for me.

I would've told her to see what was in the fridge, maybe ordered a pizza, told her that you had a rough day, and just wanted to kick back. I don't think I would've lectured her .
