But really dude, it sounds like you've just been burned. No one said you have to turn into a passive little shell and let someone take full advantage of you. Just cuz a girl is around, doesn't mean you gotta give your "soul" away on a platter. If you become betaized, then yes, you risk getting dumped. This works the other way around too, so don't blame it on women. You just have to hang on to who you are a little tighter and learn how to keep your frame in the relationship.
