Borderline Personality Disorder

Has anyone ever dated anyone with BDP or know anything about it? If you don't know what it is, google it. A friend of mine suggested the girl I was dating my have BDP, and after researching it, my highly un-medical opinion is that she had it.
common symptoms: heavy mood swings, excessive drinking/drugs, excessive spending, being the life of the party, needing to always be around people, not thinking your bf/gf cares enough about you,etc. the list goes on.

so if anyone has had experience in dealing with these types of girls i'd love to hear how they dealt with it.

Shady, I appreciate your desire to learn more about dealing with this.

BPD is a diagnosable mental illness. The Forum isn't really such a great place to get advice on dealing with someone who may or may not have this problem, and since it's not clear that your gf actually has that diagnosis, if you care about her consider asking her to seek medical/psychological help.
