Sorry if this is in the wrong aspect of the model; I think I have all of the operational definitions of this thing down. LOL Anyways...
It's been general wisdom to NOT ask a woman her age when you first meet. It is a senstive topic for many females, even those who would be regarded as "young" in the relative scheme of things. Being the rebel that I am (LOL), I have taken to asking women their ages while flirting if they pique my interest. I date women of all ages, but I actually prefer women in their 30s, so this has been an interesting conversation piece.
I know this sounds like social suicide, but I have found that it works as a good qualifier if the frame is right and the girl has a genuine interest in you. Often, it puts her on the spot and there have been times in this situation where I know the woman is answering truthfully but it's obvious that she's hoping that she isn't blowing it by telling me the truth.
The most important thing is your response.
- Always be positive - Again this is important because a lot of women are sensitive about their ages.
- Reply with a consequent to her antecedent - If she is truthful and tells you her age, then give her a compliment. If you honestly thought that she looked younger, then say so. Don't be fake about it though.
If she sees that you respond positively, it will propel the conversation into a very forward trajectory. It always has for me. She'll be eased that you don't think much of her age, which is great for people like me who dig older women. It will be a good transition into comfort (note: though often you can do this while already in comfort).
Another variation is when you ask a woman's age and she tells you to guess. If you have a general idea of how old she is, ALWAYS SUBTRACT A FEW YEARS FROM YOUR ANSWER! I guarantee that you will get a very positive reaction. Often, women escalate to some form
kino with me when this happens, usually accompanied by things such as "I love you!"
Again, this is just something that has worked well for me. As always, this is an art, not a science. If it were the latter we'd be reading about pickup in peer-reviewed journals. Try it out and let's know if your results are the same. Be fun and have fun.
Thoughts?
