Question: What do u guys reckon of girls who are conversational tyrants?
I read a post by Daniel Rose last nite, on Vibing, and i was determined to put it into practise. so i opened a redhead hb8 at the bus stop today. (situational. not direct. fuck!). and we had 15mins of vibing. no routines at all. save for a bit of cold reading and half-arse attempts at BHRR.
well back to the point. this girl was a bloody conversation tyrant. i'd try to take the conversation in a certain direction, and she'd bite the bait and immediately she'd launch into a story about herself and put on this authoritative voice like she's trying to teach me something (coz she spent about 6months living overseas n shit. big deal.)
so yea. dilemma. i was actually trying to ENJOY the interaction (thanks klanC), and she was saying some pretty interesting shit, but at the same time i kept having the feeling that she was controlling the frame and that she was in charge of the conversation.
there was no SOI on my part. the only way she couldve deciphered that i was attracted to her, was if she read my body lang. but she wasnt really reading my body lang. i could sense that all she wanted to do was TALK.
even when i cold-read her, she was just waiting to launch into a new thread. wtf? conversational tyrant. she mustve had a pussywhipped father and a tiger for a mum.
i'd try to lead by changing the direction of the conversation. but this girl kept going on about this and that.
and she really enjoyed bitching about things she had no control over.
hmm. and she's into psychology n shit.
yeah so just thinking. i need to read more on Vibing.
direct game
I've set myself a target of going DIRECT. However i still havent gone Direct. Argh. Wanted to go direct on her ass but then i felt a tinge of AA as i was about to do it. so i used a sitautional opener instead. so much easier. lol. and then i just let out a laugh coz i remembered what
badboy said about AA actually beign a good reproductive instinct emotion.
"Situational" is my new comfort zone.
Well I'm one step closer to going direct. I've progressed from Opinion openers to situational openers.
